Chapter 38 Emma seemed to casually pull out a piece of tissue to wipe the water stains off her fingers.

“He became like that because of me,” Kate said with a cold smile. “A year ago, Liam, Brad, and I were on a helicopter survey trip together when we encountered a typhoon. At the critical moment, Liam was injured by a heavy object while saving me, resulting in a lifelong disability. So his feelings for me are not something you, a mere passerby, can compare to.”
