As Dennis got outside the shop she spotted Lucas going towards Chelsea restaurant.
" Good afternoon my guy" Lucas greeted.
" Good afternoon guy, what's up?" Dennis greeted and asked, trying to get why Lucas was here.
" I'm fine and you?" Lucas replied and asked, not getting the hint.
" I'm fine, just having another lovers quarrel with my love, but we have settled it" He informs him smiling.
" With Chelsea?" Lucas asked.
" Yeah " Dennis reply fondly with a grin.
" Wow, what a quarrel it was , with the grin on your face I don't think the fight was that serious. I guess you are already a goner" Lucas said jokingly.
" I guess I am" Dennis replied.
" Another man down" Lucas lamented, faking a sad face.
" Don't worry It happens to the best of us" Dennis told his friend, " Maybe yours will happen soon, love is everywhere " He advised.
" Wow, You are now an expert " Lucas mocked, " You haven't even put a name to your relationship and you are behaving as if you are an expert " Say whatever you want to say. I think you are just jealous" Dennis told him.
" Of what?" Lucas asked sarcastically, " Isn't it obvious that I'm enjoying my single life" He added.
" You don't say" Dennis mocked.
" I am" Lucas insisted, getting the mockery in Dennis tone.
" Hmmm" Dennis said.
" I am , it's the truth" Lucas told him.
" If you say so" Dennis agreed reluctantly, even though he didn't believe him one bit or at all, because Lucas may look tough and act tough outside, but in the inside he is a big softy, " And if it helps you sleep at night " He added , snuggly.
" Thank you very much, it will. But congrats to all of you that are willing to risk it all, including your heart " He told Dennis.
" It is not a risk. But even if it was, it is a risk worth taking and Chelsea is worth it " Dennis replied.
" Oh, so cheesy " Lucas laughed.
" Whatever" Dennis said, " So what are you doing here, especially here of all places?" Dennis asked him.
" What's so special about this place ?" Lucas asked, " And it is our launch break and I'm sure I'm allowed to go wherever I want" He added.
" And there goes your privilege of eating from what I got you" Dennis threatened him, waving the extra bag of food he got for Lucas at his face.
" Common on Bro, that's low even for you " Lucas murmured
" I almost changed my mind, but for saying that I wouldn't " Dennis told him,
" I will get mine " Lucas boasted, " Obviously I have hands and legs, Thanks to God Almighty for creating me complete " Lucas added.
" Do just that" Dennis said, knowing he will still give it to him, because he wasn't that petty to deprive anyone, talk more of his friend and one of his best friends at that, from enjoying a gift he got for him, "Well, this place is special because this is where Chelsea's shop or should I say restaurant is located" He informed Lucas.
" Chelsea owns a shop here , that's great " Lucas said, " I didn't even know what a coincidence " He added.
" It better be" Dennis warns.
" Why, don't you trust me anymore?"Lucas asked, shocked at the warning.
" Of course I do, it's your mouth that I don't trust " Dennis replied m
" This mouth?" Lucas asked, touching his mouth.
" Yes,that mouth" Dennis agreed, " I'm afraid you will run your mouth anyhow. Youu don't have any filter in that mouth yours" Dennis complained.
" Don't worry my mouth is sealed and all those your secret and dirty laundry is safe with me"
" Shut up, someone might hear you" Dennis shouted at Lucas, surprised at how loud his friend said what he said," And for your information I don't have any dirty laundry and secret " Dennis argued looking everywhere.
" Calm down, no one else but both of us is here and no one heard me" He comforted him, because one of the things that Lucas knows that Dennis hates most is for others, especially people he don't know having a wrong ideal and thought of him, " And I know you don't have any dirty laundry and you can't keep a secret to save your life. Between two of us, I'm the one with all the secret and dirty laundry " Lucas confess.
" That's true " Dennis agreed.
" Don't feel so good about yourself, everyone has flaws " He said hitting Dennis playfully on his head.
" Make me" Dennis said, dodging another hit from Lucas.
