" I'm back, did you guys miss me" Chelsea asked.
" Yes I missed you dearly, sweetheart " Dennis replied with so much love in his heart.
" Yes, we did,But especially for him. I guess, an hour or up to 30minutes was like two to three years for lover boy here" Kevwe said pointing to Dennis who was blushing.
" I didn't know you could blush" Chelsea said unconsciously.
" I too can blush. I'm human obviously and every human has the ability to blush" Dennis said defensively.
" Says who?" Chelsea asked.
" Says everyone, science...." Dennis murmured.
" You see she has started again " Dennis complained to Kevwe.
" Please guy accept her compliment and stop arguing.
" You are taking her side?" Dennis asked Kevwe.
" Which side should she be on before, yours or mine?" Chelsea asked sarcastically, " And who is giving him compliment?" She added.
" Of course I will take her side and Chelsea is just try complimenting him, if you were not doing that. If you do he would be able to dream about you every night" Kevwe teased them both.
" As if" Chelsea said, pretending as if she didn't care if Dennis doesn't dream about her or not
" " Don't worry my love, you don't have to say anything. You only have to exist for me to dream about you every time " He told Chelsea.
" Oh, you think you are so smooth. Are you sure you are not a womanizer?, Where do you get all your lines" She asked.
" I'm hurt" Dennis said placing his hand on his chest, " Of course I'm not a womanizer. I'm just naturally charming, it's just that you have never met a natural born charmer before" He told her proudly.
" You two are so cute and totally meant to be, because you match too much, as she attacks you; you attacks her back. You always have something to say to canter her attack. This most be what they call words foreplay. You guys are so sweet and good together " Kevwe stated her observations, " And so colorful,that you are blinding my eyes" She added.
" You are so correct " Dennis agrees with Kevwe.
" That's why I will bid you goodbye for now and take myself to the kitchen to prepare our evening meal or should I say dinner " Kevwe said as she stood up.
" Are you leaving me with him" Chelsea asked Kevwe.
" Yes, I am" Kevwe answered, " Is he not your visitor?, no offense Dennis" She asked Chelsea and apologize to Dennis.
" Non taken. And don't worry dear, I don't bit" Dennis told Kevwe and reassured Chelsea playfully with a grin.
" In your dreams" Chelsea told him.
" Don't worry I dream about you every night " Dennis said back.
" Don't mind her, she is just playing hard to get " Kevwe said.
"No I'm not " Chelsea argued as she blushes.
" You are too" Kevwe told her
" I know she is, you don't have to tell me. She has been stealing glances of me when I'm not looking,since I came into your house and thinks I haven't cut her or I don't know . That's why she s blushing and I have notice she does that sometimes when she she is denying the truth " Dennis said.
" You have noticed now " Kevwe said to him smiling," And before I forget, Dennis I'm inviting you to stay for dinner and eat with us" She added.
" And to that I will say yes I will" Dennis replied.
" Does non of you care about my opinion?" Chelsea asked.
" Yes, we don't " Kevwe replied.
" Thank you for that" Dennis appreciated Kevwe.
" Betrayers" Chelsea murmured to herself.
" I will see you guys in an hour plus. Chelsea put a movie for our guest, preferably a K- drama since love is in the Air" Kevwe told Chelsea, " You do like K-dramas, right?" Kevwe asked Dennis.
" Anything my love wants to watch, that's what I would watch" He replied," So what do you want to watch, dear?" Dennis asked Chelsea.
" Why ask me now about this, when you didn't ask me whether I wanted you to stay for dinner" Chelsea complained.
" Well, I didn't ask you because I knew without you telling me that you want me to stay, since we came you have been protesting too much. To me you want to invite me, but the choice was taken from you" He told her playfully.
" You really do like to delude yourself. Just wow, listen to yourself talk. You are now a mind reader" Chelsea told him.
" I guess so" Dennis said proudly, pretending not to be offended by her harsh words," I'm now a mind reader because of you and I will tell you I will be anything you want me to be, just name it. I will be even a doctor for you, but a heart doctor. I can even be your patient, because you have stolen my heart from me" He said touching her cheek fondly.
" Leave me" Chelsea said laughing until she saw that Kevwe was still in the sitting room with both of them " Oh, didn't notice that you were still here, Kevwe" Chelsea said guiltily and also signaling Dennis that they weren't alone, making him shift away from her to the other side of the couch.
" Don't worry, don't mind me. Just continue I, I will be on my way to the kitchen. See you in about an hour or more" Kevwe said to them," And I'm taking it that it is a yes, that you are staying?"She repeated her previous question, which was although answered but was answered indirectly and Dennis and Chelsea were cut up in their own little world, bickering and arguing as usual, and like the popular saying she thought,that says " There is a thin line between love and hate", and the other saying that says" All is fair in love and war". She is seeing from the action of both of them that, that thin line between love and hate can be crossed by Chelsea and all his fair in love and war can be done or experienced by Dennis.
" Yes, I will. Since my babe and first lady didn't object to me staying" Dennis informs Kevwe.
" What have been doing since, if not objecting?" Chelsea asked," Do whatever you want, as if you would listen to me, you haven't been doing that since we met. So why start listening now" Chelsea said trying to soften the blow and impact of her saying she has been objecting since, after she saw the look on Dennis's face and pretending to be annoyed a little bit for good measure, not to give it away that she didn't mind at all and she thinks it is a good opportunity to get to know and they even have a chaperon to boot, in the person of Kevwe.
" Come on babe, cheer up. I'm here for you" Dennis said as he held her hands and gave her a peck on her forehead.
" Stop being touchy-feeling" Chelsea shouted and pushed him away.
" But you like it when I get touchy" He told her playfully.
" No, I don't " She protested.
" You don't have to tell me. I know you do. You are just pretending" He said to her, just trying to pull her leg, although he truly knows that she didn't like, but did it anyway; because it is what she doesn't like that he does inorder to tease her.
" Oh, my God?" Chelsea exclaimed," I can't get anything through to you" She cried out.
" Come on, babe. lighten up " He pleaded , moving towards her
" Leave me alone " She moves towards the other chair and puts on the TV and went straight to the Korean channel as she tries hiding her smile. But didn't know that he saw it and and in turn smiled back, making turned her face towards the direction of the Tv.
And through out the movie, instead of watching it, Dennis was busy starring at Chelsea, watching all her expressions as the Korean series progressed.
