Chapter 29
"I'm sorry" Saying this sunansh got up from the couch walking out of the room.
"I have work to do" Avyansh followed him behind.
Reyansh closed his laptop, leaning back on the sofa, sighing he closed his eyes thinking about his mother.
The impulsive decision and the reckless actions playing in his mind. Their mother left them years ago but her memories still reside in them. No one used to talk about Gauri knowing how emotional everyone would get, instead of sharing the pain they chose to run from it.
Reyansh got up from the couch walking towards his cupboard and taking out the packet of cancer stick, Lighting it he headed towards the balcony to smoke.
Just as he was about to keep it near the mouth taking the puff his phone rang, fishing it out of the packet he looked at the caller ID and immediately crushed the cigarette under his feet.
When he left for America for his further studies, the medicine which used to keep him sane was this cigarette stick and alcohol. He once used to hate the smell of smoke but now he is addicted to it, but his consumption reduced to 80% after being married to Siya as he knew Siya hated people who drink and smoke and maybe that's the reason why he first started taking it. He wanted to quit it completely but the addiction just couldn't leave him.
The years of addiction couldn't be forgotten in a couple of months but he was trying his best to quit smoking.
"Ansh" her voice, made his anxious heart calm.
"Boliye"
(Speak)
"Photo bheji hai ek choose karo"
(I sent you photo pick one)
Opening the chat box he looked through the photos only to get mesmerised by her beauty. She wore a saree , one was red in colour and other was green, of course both did look good on her but Reyansh loved green colour on her.
"You look good in everything but the green one looks magnificent" he replied, zooming the picture and looking at her smiling face.
"Green pack Kara kaka"
(Pack the green one uncle)
Reyansh bit his lips, hearing Siya. Her wearing his chosen saree, thinking about it made his heart flip, turning his ears red.
"Now choose one,"Â She said, sending him a pic of a set of kurta in different colours.
"Anything you prefer," he answered.
"How about green then?"Â She asked, making him hum in response.
"Did you pack your luggage ?"
"Ji"
"Khana khaya?"
(Had dinner?)
"Ji"
"Ansh, stop saying 'ji' I feel like I'm taking to a small kid"
"Baba, vadapav" Siya pointed at the vada pav stall looking at her father with doe eyes who chuckled and headed towards the stall making her squeal in happiness.
Reyansh leaned against the railing, looking at the moon which used to calm his anxiousness, then Siya replaced it and then it was alcohol and drugs and again ended up Siya being the drug for his anxiousness which could calm him down without her doing anything.
His Siya, his wife, his peace.

"I'll cut it in pieces" Sania mumbled aggressively, cutting the carrots.
"Mummyy!!" Sania whined rubbing the back of the head where her mother just hit.
"What mummy? I told you to grate it not cut it"
"I'm not able to find the grater" Sania replied, stuffing the carrot inside her mouth.
"Haa Haa maharani ko sab hath me chahiye hota hai"
(Haa Haa queen wants everything in hands)
Her mother said, placing the grater in front of her.
"Do din aayi hu please yaar mummy, taane mat diya karo"
(I only came for two days, please mom don't taunt me)
She said being frustrated, first her exam didn't go well and second someone 'ameer hogi' is messing with her mind and now the taunts.
"Haa Haa aab maa ke baatein taane lagne lage hai"
(Yes yes, now mother's words seem to be taunts)
Sania screamed for her father, taking a bowl and filling it with carrots.
"Papa, Aapki biwi ke periods chal rahe hai sambhalo inhe"
(Father, your wife is on periods take care if her)
Saying this Sania ran towards her room fearing what if her mother threw slippers at her face.
"Papa ke pare" searching for his contact, she clicked on the call option, keeping it on speaker and eating her carrots.
"H..hello" his voice came out cracked, making her movements halt.
After coming to his room, first thing sunansh did was burst into tears.
The memory of his Gauri maa leaving him is still vivid.
"Sunansh are you alright?" She asked with worry dripping down her voice.
"I should ask you the same, are you alright?" He asked, wiping his tears with the hem of t-shirt.
"Mujhe kya hoga?"
(What will happen to me?)
She asked, shrugging her shoulders.
"Mujhse pyaar"
(Love)
He replied, chuckling, not knowing the effect his words had on her.
'Pyaar'
Sania gulped down, a red tint forming on her cheeks. Slapping herself she shook her head in negative.
"Aab Mai itna acha hua ki har koi mere pyaar me gir jata hai"
(I am too nice that everyone fall in love with me)
"Log girte honge par Mai nai girungi"
(Maybe people fall but I will not fall)
"Koi na Mai tumhe uda kar le jaunga, after all papa ka para Jo hu"
Sania laughed at his lame joke, making sunansh scratch the back of his head in embarrassment. He thought she would scold him but he was not expecting this reaction from her.
Unknowingly talking to her made him forget about the past.
His Sania, his wife, his darling~~

Avyansh pressed the honk, indicating to the watchman to open the gate. Parking his bike in the parking lot he went to the backside of the mansion, climbing up with the help of a tree branch and jumping on the balcony of her room.
Entering inside the room he found his beauty working on her laptop while sleeping on the stomach, her presence calming his beast.
Quietly, going to the other side he laid down beside her who was so engrossed in the work to feel his presence.
Tapping on her shoulders, he laid sideways, keeping his chin on his palm which is supported by his elbow.
Myra looked to the side and again brought her attention back to work only to scream after realising someone had entered her room sneakily.
"Avy baby!! Why the hell are you sneaking in my room"Â Myra screamed, sitting on the bed and moving towards the headrest of the bed holding it tightly.
"Come here myra" Avyansh said, pulling her but the hold on the headrest tightened, turning her knuckles white.
"Nai tum phir se mujhe khidki ke Bahar phek doge"
(No, you will again throw me out of the window)
"Why would I throw you out of the window? '' Avyansh replied, looking wiredly at Myra.
"Q ki tum pagal ho"
(Because you are crazy)
Myra fired back, clutching the headrest as if her life depended on it.
"That was one time thing, I will not do it again" He tried convincing her.
"I don't trust you, get lost from here" she said shaking her head in a no.
"I'll go but first come here"
"Avybaby if you are planning dumb surprises then I'll make sure you are not going to see the sunrise tomorrow"Â Myra said sitting back on the bed.
Instead of replying to her , avyansh kept his head in her lap snuggling close to her stomach.
"Please" mumbling, he pulled her closer. Myra gulped down her saliva, smiling at his move. Slowly massaging his hairs, she recalled the first night of their marriage.
Everything is the same except the fact that now her avy baby is accepting his feelings towards her.
"Sneaking inside someone's room is an crime avybaby and I can sue you for that" she whispered slowly, massaging his scalp.
"My best friend is known as the best lawyer of Delhi" Avyansh replied, his hot breath hitting her bare stomach as she just wore a crop top and pyjamas.
"Unfortunately your best friend is my brother" Myra replied with a duh tone.
"He says the same about you,"Â Avyansh said,
pulling his head up and pushing her down on the bed.
"Are you on drugs or what?" Myra asked with a gasp.
"Who needs drugs when your eyes are enough to drive me crazy"
"Avy baby" Myra whispered, grabbing his cheeks and making him look at her.
"Hmm"
"Say I love you or else I'm gonna kiss you"Â Myra threatened, pulling him closer making him laugh at her stupidity.
"I prefer the latter one" he smirked, grabbing her waist and making her sit on him.
"You are a pervert" she gasped, hitting on his chest.
"Aab jaisa bhi hu tumhara hu"
She chuckled, pinching his chest and sleeping beside him in his arms.
Yes, he changed so much and she is liking every bit of his change.
Avyansh smiled, looking at Myra. Kissing her forehead and covering her with a blanket and then going out of her room before stealing a glance at her.
He was feeling restless and now his restlessness is replaced with a fluttering one after seeing her,
His Myra, his wife, his addiction.
°°°°°°
After talking with Siya, Reyansh got up from his place and walked out of his room and headed towards sunansh's room.
Knocking two times he waited for the response, getting silence as an answer he decided to enter inside.
"Sunansh" He called out for him, finding the room empty.
"Sunansh" Reyansh walked to the balcony, checking it.
"Sunansh"Â his heart grew anxious not finding him anywhere in the room.
Quickly dialling his number, Reyansh waited for him to pick up the call only to find the phone lying on the table beside the bed.
"Avyansh, is sunansh with you? '' Reyansh asked Avyansh after he picked up the call.
"No bhai, is he not in the room?"
"No he is nâ--"
"Bhai?" Sunansh, who just came out of the bathroom, looked confused after finding his elder brother in his room.
"Where were you?" Reyansh asked, crushing sunansh between his arms.
"Aab sunansh su karne bhi na Jaye?"
(Now sunansh should not even go to washroom)
"Khana aur susu karne ke alawa Aata hi kya hai iss bandar ko"
(Except eating and peeing, he don't know anything)
They heard a distinct voice throw the mobile phone.
"Aur hagna bhi"
(And shitting too)
Sunansh added with a smug smile which earned a punch from Avyansh, who just entered his room.
"Kitni gandi baatein karta hai tu"
(You talk too dirty)
"Le Aapke jaise logo ki wajah hamara desh aage nai badh para Jo ek natural activity ko Ganda bole"
(Because of people like you our country is not growing, who think a natural activity as dirty)
Leaving the politician sunansh behind, Avyansh and Reyansh headed towards his bed sleeping on it.
"Kamal hai, iss Ghar ke log mujhe ignore bada karte hai"
(The people in this house always ignore me)
Sunansh tsked, jumping on the bed in-between his brother's.
"Bich ka bandar"
(Middle monkey)
Avyansh squeezed sunansh's cheeks, making a pout outta it.
"I'm going to Mumbai for two days and I want both of you to look after the work properly"
"Thik hai bade bhaiya"
(Okay big brother)
Sunansh mumbled, hugging Reyansh and sleeping on his chest.
°°°°°°
The jet landed safely on the Mumbai Airport and Reyansh descended the steps and walked towards his car.
Calling his wife, and keeping the phone on speaker he switched on his laptop.
"Hello ansh, did you reach?"Â Siya asked, wearing the gold jhumkas, which were gifted by her father.
"Haa"
(Yes)
"I sent you some phrases, memorise it all" making a bun out of her long hair she secured it with pins.
"Why?" He asked, clueless.
"Jitna bola Hai utna karo"
(Just do as I say)
She said frustratedly, finding a few strands of hair falling on her face which she tried to tuck them in the bun a few times.
"Okay"Â He replied, making the driver laugh when he found the mighty Reyansh being scolded by his wife but later coughed finding the cold stare of his boss.
"I'm waiting, come fast" With that she hung up the call.
"Stop the car,"Â Reyansh ordered, making the driver shiver.
"I'm sorâ-" before the driver could say anything, Reyansh climbed down the car and walked towards the small flower shop.
"pack these"Â he pointed at the white gajra, giving a few notes of 500 Rupees to the lady.
'Agar roz iske jaise ameer pagal aaye meri dukan pe, Mai aapko nariyal chadhaungi bhagwan'
(God if daily I get dumb rich customer like him then I'll offer you a coconut)
The Lady prayed, keeping the notes in her blouse and giving him gajra packed in banana leaf.
The driver sighed in relief when Reyansh sat back inside the car.
Parking the car near her house, he called the bodyguards to carry the gifts and his luggage to her house.
"à¤à¤¹à¥ à¤à¤¾à¤µà¤¾à¤ बापॠà¤à¤²à¥"
(Son-in-law came)
Shanta screamed for her husband, bringing a big plate along with a jar of water with her.
"Don't enter"Â Shivaji took the luggage from his hand and kept a gandhi topi on Reyansh's head.
Siya laughed looking at Reyansh, who looked like a monkey while wearing the cap along with the formal three piece suit.
Shanta placed the plate near his foot asking him to stand on it. Reyansh hesitantly stood inside the plate, looking at Siya who shrugged her shoulders.
He flinched when Shanta touched is feets, washing it with the water.
"It's a ritual" Siya mouthed, while giggling looking at his confused yet scared face.
Applying the vermillion and turmeric on both of his toes, Shanta did the Aarti and applied the vermillion Tilak on his forehead.
"à¤à¤à¤¾à¤£à¤¾ à¤à¥à¤¯à¤¾ à¤à¤¾à¤µà¤ बापॠà¤à¤¤à¤¾"
Reyansh scrunched his eyebrows in confusion, glancing at Siya he asked for help as she showed him the phone pointing at her head.
Phrases
He remembered the phrases she sent for memorising, sucking in a deep breath he looked in her eyes and said
"à¤à¥à¤·à¥à¤£à¤¾à¤²à¤¾ बà¤à¥à¤¨ राधा हसलॠमाà¤à¤¾ मनात सिया बसलà¥"
Siya smiled, hiding in the kitchen. His broken marathi with Hindi accent sounded so cute.
'à¤à¥à¤·à¥à¤£à¤¾à¤²à¤¾ बà¤à¥à¤¨ राधा हसलॠमाà¤à¤¾ मनात सिया बसलà¥'
She repeated his words, a red tint forming on her cheeks.
