Chapter 21

"How to open this?" Reyansh mumbles, trying to open the lid of the pressure cooker.

"Cooking is so difficult" Avyansh sighs in relief, taking a seat on the chair while drinking water.

He just finished making rotis, which was a dreadful task according to him.

'Khichdi hi bana leta mai'

(I should have cooked khichdi)

'My pretty hands'

He looked at his hands which had few reddish brown patches on it.

"How to open this?" Reyansh asked out loud, getting the attention of his younger brothers.

"With hands, obviously" Sunansh answered in a duh tone which resulted with the sharp gaze of his brother.

"I mean, let me do it with my hands" he laughed nervously, keeping the packet of chips aside and walking towards the stove.

Sunansh twisted the handle trying to pull it outside but failed miserably.

Reyansh folded his hands over the chest, leaning on the counter and side eyeing sunansh.

"Haha" sunansh again laughed nervously, turning and twisting the lid furiously.

'Khul ja sim sim'

(Open up)

And, God heard his prayer and opened the lid for him.

"Yay!!" He screamed in happiness, showing the lid to Reyansh and Avyansh.

"See, it was so easy" He said, closing the lid of the pressure cooker.

"You have to turn it this way to open.....

He tried to open again the same way but God won't help you for committing the same mistake twice.

........the lid"

"Isse kehte hai aag me khud ko phekna" Avyansh laughs patting his back while ruffling his hair.

(This is called pushing yourself in fire)

"If I find you doing this shit again trust me you will get a free ticket to hell" Siya says while grabbing the hairs of the boy who was groaning in pain.

"I'm sorry didi" the boy apologise getting on his knees still holding his d**k.

"Wow bhabhi" Sania clapped her hands, totally impressed by Siya.

"Take them to hospital," Myra said to the guards pointing at the two boys.

The guard nodded and grabbed them by their hair taking them to the warehouse as per the order received by their boss.

"You looked so hot back then" Myra compliments, recalling the kick and scream of the human being.

Siya giggled, taking a seat on the chair and drinking her half finished drink.

"My juice?" Sania looked at the empty glass which had the liquid before but suddenly disappeared from the glass.

"You drank it didn't you?" Sania grits her teeths, pointing at Myra who causally cleans her shades with her kurti.

"One mango juice please" Myra gives her order to the waiter who was passing by , wearing her cleaned shades.

"Open it" Reyansh said in a stern voice.

Sunansh cursed himself internally for closing the lid which opened up with many efforts.

"Let it be bhai, we can serve them hot food" sunansh let out the words which his mind choose at the very exact moment and the next moment he knew he fucked up finding the burning gaze of his brother.

"What are you gonna do about the two boys" he was fast enough to change the topic saving himself from the scolding.

"Will play a game with them"

"Which game?"

"Game of death"

"You will kill them?" Sunansh asked in horror.

Reyansh chuckled darkly, curving his lips upwards.

"Much more than that"

Hoo bhikri teri khushbuyein meri zindagi ki talaash mein

Doobe lamhe mere har pal tere ehsaas mein

Mere khuwab kehne lagey, palkon mein rakhle inhe

Ooo tere liye jhoomu deewana ban ke tere liye

Vaada hai mera main hoon tere liye

Hona kabhi tu judaa...

Tere liye aaa jhoomu deewana ban ke tere liye ooo

Vaada hai mera main hoon tere liye

Hona kabhi tu judaa...

"You really sing well bhabhi" Sania complimented Siya who was humming to the song which was playing in the car.

"We got two singers in our family" Myra comments, from the back seat.

"Two?" Sania asked, while driving the car.

"Your husband has an amazing voice," Myra answered.

'Mere samne to kabhi nai gaya papa ke pare ne'

(He never sang in front of me)

"You can cook, you can fight, you can sing and you can control Reyansh bhai. I must say you are multi talented bhabhi" Sania says stretching on the word 'Reyansh bhai'

Siya smacked her arm while giggling.

"No one can control Reyansh Bhanushali" Siya says, making Sania and Myra roll their eyes.

"What? I am serious girls"

"Everyone in the family knows that he is whipped for you bhabhi" Myra said, making a deep shade of red appear on siya's cheeks.

"He loves me but control? Naah"

"Okay then, let's make a bet" Myra smirked wiggling her brows.

Siya raised her brows asking her to continue.

"Make him wear the shirt we bought from the mall but he should wear it for office"

Someone said,

Best friends have the same brain cells.

And sunansh and Myra are proving them right.

"For office?" Siya asked again, checking if she heard correctly or not.

"How about a little modification?" Sania intruppted in between.

"Why don't we make all the three brothers wear the shirts for the office?"

"Good idea but avy baby would never listen to me" Myra pouts.

"He will wear it," Siya says, looking back at Myra.

Siya knows how much Myra matters to Avyansh as she has listened to thousands of stories from Avy which includes Myra.

"We reached" Sania pressed the horn of the car, making the watchmen open the gate of the mansion.

Siya and Myra climbed down from the car and the workers carried the shopping bags inside the mansion while Sania parked the car in the garage.

"What is this?" Siya gasped looking at the messed up kitchen.

Sunansh laughed nervously pointing his fingers at Avyansh.

"He did"

Siya glared at Avyansh who gaped at the false accusations of his brother.

"I didn't do anything bhabhi it was your husband"

Avyansh said, pointing at Reyansh.

Reyansh instantly looked at Avyansh who zipped his mouth.

"Ansh"

"These vegetable wastes are lying on the table, everything is misplaced, everything is so dirty. You three are going to do the dishes and clean this mess as well" Siya said in a stern voice making them nod instantly.

"Bhabhi, can you open this" sunansh said pointing at the two cookers.

One had dal in it and the other had Khichdi.

Siya washed her hand and opened the lid of both the cookers.

"Wash your hands, I'll serve the food" she said, taking the plates and bowls from the cabinet.

"Damn!! This is much dirtier than my mind" Sania commented observing the messy kitchen.

"I know right" Myra mutters, washing her hands.

Everyone settled on the dining table with their respective plates.

"Ye roti hai ya China ka naksha"

(Is this roti or the map of china)

Sania said, lifting the roti and showing it to everyone. It was half burnt, half cooked and in the shape of an amoeba.

Avyansh cleared his throat, pouring himself a glass of water.

"I cooked dal, Avyansh bhai prepared rotis and Reyansh bhai cooked khichdi"

"Let me taste it," Sania said, dipping a small piece of roti which was taking so much energy to break, in the dal and stuffing it inside her mouth.

"It tastes horrible," she said, immediately chugging down the water.

"I cooked for the first time in my life, only for you darling and you are not appreciating my efforts?" Sunansh asked, holding his chest acting as if in pain.

Sania rolled her eyes, feeding him the morsel.

"Appreciate your own efforts' ' she smiled, keeping another morsel in front of his mouth.

Sunansh gulped it forcefully, drinking the water immediately.

"You added too much salt and turmeric which is making the dal taste bitter as well as salty" Siya said, eating a bite and examining the flavours.

"Mai cutter leke aayi, ye roti hath se nahi tutne wali"

(Let me bring the cutter, this roti will not break with hands)

Myra said, tapping the roti on the table, it was hard enough to not break even after tapping on it.

"Maybe your dough was too dry, and we should cover the roti with a towel to keep them soft," Siya suggested.

'I drank your awful tea and here you are making fun of me'

Avyansh thought while drinking water eyeing Myra, who turned towards him, feeling a gaze on her.

She winked at him, when their eyes met making Avyansh choke on his water.

'I always have the wrong timing of drinking water'

"Meri dal ki tareef ho gayi, Avyansh bhai ke roti ki tareef ho gayi aab Reyansh bhai ke khichdi ki baari"

(My dal got compliment, Avyansh bhai's roti hot compliment now it's time for Reyansh bhai's khichdi)

"Bhabhi taste it," Sania said.

Reynash gulps when Siya took a morsel of rice and stuffed it into her mouth, she squinted her eyes chewing the food and a hum escaped her mouth.

"It tastes good" she said looking at Reyansh who was eagerly waiting for the feedback.

He released a breath which he himself didn't know he was holding in.

"But, a little saltless and bit spicy"

"A round of applause for the compliments, ladies and gentleman" Sunansh said clapping his hands, feeling happy about the shortcomings because he was not alone in this, his brother's were also there.

A feeling when you and your best friend both failed in exams.

Myra clapped her hands to support her best friend and Sania rolled her eyes at his overdramatic ass. Siya giggled looking at them, avyansh sat silently looking at his burnt hands.

Reyansh quickly noted down the points Siya gave him in his phone, so next time he prepares the food without any flaws.

"But, this is quite impressive for your first time avyansh" Siya said, getting up from her seat and walking inside the kitchen.

She walked back, now sitting beside avyansh. Taking his hands, she applied the ointment on his burnts as he hissed in pain.

"Mera bacha" she kissed his palms, keeping the ointment aside.

"Preparing dough itself is a big task and you did it without any help, I'm proud of you my little avy" she said ruffling his hairs and he immediately hugged her bursting into tears.

"Such a cry baby you are" she patted his back.

"It is painful," he mumbled, still hugging her.

"It happens while cooking avy, the marks will fade away eventually" she broke the hug, wiping his tears while he nods his head sniffling.

"Bhabhi '' she heard sunansh who was coming towards them while wiping his fake tears.

She smiled, getting up from the seat and spreading her arms and he side hugged her, showing his hand to her.

She giggled but eventually gave a kiss on it, smacking his head.

"Such a dramatic kid I have" she mumbled.

Reyansh who sat silently got up from his chair and forwarded his hands to her.

Siya let out a laugh but nevertheless pecked his palm and he smiled like a kid who got his favourite chocolate.

Avyansh looked back when he felt a tap on it, looking back he found Myra who mouthed 'learn from him' pointing at Reyansh.

"Hmphh" Avyansh made a face, turning his back on her.

'You are turning my husband like you sunansh' Myra thought, but found the angry Avyansh too cute.

"Ye dal teri maa ki zubaan se bhi kadvi hai aur ye roti tere dadi ke ego ki tarah tut hi nahi rahi" Sania commented making Myra laugh out loud.

(This dal is more bitter than the words of your mom and this roti is not breaking like the ego of your grandmother)

"Stop, the food is not that bad haa" Sunansh replied taking a seat beside her.

"Yes, that's why you couldn't even eat two bites," she answers, smiling at him.

"Mere gali ke kutte bhi isse aacha khana khate hai"

(My street dogs eat better food than this
