The world on pause, life stops.
The road collapses under my feet,
Opening onto the dear old
Chasm of silent darkness
That has always accompanied my journey.
A pause that starts, that moves
The sturdiest mountains, the most
Imposing rocks. Everything falls
With me. I no longer know anything, or do I know everything?
I heard the cracks open in the ground.
I opened them, I picketed and pushed them
Until they destroyed everything
And those I loved with me. What did I do?
What was needed, right? Right?
In the blackness of the pit I see no need.
But it was the best thing for everyone,
After all, now, I know.
I began to destroy
Without creating. I stay in my hell
To keep others from burning with me.
Go, my world, and take a pause from me.
