There are two extremes in life: right and wrong. When we do something, we may see it one way, and others another. The great thing about right and wrong is that there are so many definitions of them that sometimes they seem almost the same.
Wrong means to make a mistake, to go against a rule. It can mean building up, tearing down, doing nothing or doing too much. One can be wrong voluntarily or not, so much so that sometimes those who think they are doing the right thing are actually doing wrong.
Who decided that? I have no idea, but it hurts. It bloody hurts to be wrong all the time. Failing to do the right thing, leaving yourself and everyone else dissatisfied.
I'm a hotbed of disappointment.
That of right and wrong is a difficult topic to address, because everyone can have a different idea without being able to be accused of being wrong. "We are our own best judges."
My lawyer speaks to me privately without showing up for the hearing. He leaves me to the jaws and claws of the prosecution waiting in the doorway, ready to talk to me again, and again. He says it is up to me to act, that he can only explain the situation, nothing more....
Conscience, are you bending to the world out of fear, or am I?
I'd be a pretty good definition of wrong.
