SPY ✔︎ DEREK HALEWords: 5919

HAZEL CALLED STILES OVER TO HELP HER WAKE DEREK UP.

"Derek?" Stiles was slapping him non-stop to try to wake him up. "Derek! Derek, wake up!" He still didn't wake up as Stiles slapped him again.

Hazel sighed in annoyance as she pushed Stiles off him and stepped a leg over his waist so that he was between her.

Hazel bend down and lifted her arm up, forming it onto a fist as she was about to punch him until his eyes shot open and held her wrist.

Derek looked around while panting as he looked back to Hazel. "Where is she?"

Hazel seemed to grin like it was a joke and Stiles was the one to ask. "Jennifer? Gone, with Scott's mom."

"She took her?" Derek questioned.

"Yeah, my mother, if that's not enough of a kick to the balls." Hazel stated.

"Scott left with Deucation, okay? So we are gotta get you out of here." Stiles panted. "The police are coming right now."

Hazel grabbed his hand while standing up but Derek stopped. "Woah. What about Cora?"

Stiles gave the key to Derek to drive with Hazel with his Jeep. The whole ride was nothing interesting aside from Derek that was stealing a couple glances at her to which she ignored.

Derek arrived in front of the hospital, only to see the Argents and Isaac. They got out and slammed the doors.

"Where are Scott and Stiles?" Allison asked.

"Stiles is still at the hospital." Derek walked around the Jeep. "He's gonna hold off the cops for us."

"We have to go right now." Isaac said.

"What about Scott and Melissa?" Chris looked at Hazel moved her hair out of the way.

"Ask him."

Derek carried Cora to the car. "Jennifer took Melissa." He closed the door and noticed everyone's expression and ignored them in silence when Derek was on his way to the other side of the car.

"Where's Scott." Derek and Hazel decided to not answer as they walked to the car. "Derek, where is Scott?"

Derek stopped in his tracks as he turned around, not meaning to speak it out. But Allison wanted the answer right?

Later that night, they were over by Derek's loft with Cora completely sick in bed. The black liquid was still drenched on her mouth as she kept slightly coughing, looking pale as ever.

Derek that sat right next to her, didn't keep his eyes off her out of worry. Isaac stepped a bit closer. "She's dying, isn't she?" Derek didn't answer. "So what are you gonna do?"

It took Derek a few seconds to answer as he pulled his hand away from his mouth. "I don't know."

"We'll figure something out? Because while Scott and Stiles were out there trying to help people from being killed, you were on here rolling around the sheets with the actual killer." Isaac was getting irritated and Hazel was so on his side. Derek stood quiet with his fingers against his mouth. "Do you get how many people she's killed? Erica and Boyd are dead, Cora is dying, and you are doing nothing!" Isaac spoke out loud, his voice breaking a little.

Hazel waited for this moment to happen. For someone to tell him. It would even be more hurtful if they would find out what she was and plus explain why. Especially to Derek.

Derek seemed to still be quiet when he couldn't even look Isaac in the eyes. Hazel shifted in her position against the wall with crossed arms as she stared at Derek.

"Why'd you do this to us, Derek?" Isaac lowered his tone. "Was it all about the power? Were you bored?" He walked closer and bend down to his level by resting his hands on his knees. "Were you lonely?"

That made Derek slowly look at him. "Maybe." Isaac stared at him before he stood up straight and walked around. "I told Cora I wouldn't leave. I'll help the others when I figure out how to help her."

That's when Isaac swiftly turned around in anger. "There's no time!" He yelled. He turned to the door before he slowly looked back to Derek. "The full moon's coming. The Sheriff and Melissa are gonna be dead, so I'm gonna try and help them. Join me Hazel in case if you plan on wasting your time with him." That's when he walked out and before he left, he added the words. "You can sit here and perfect the art of nothing." Then, he slammed the door shut, leaving the two alone.

It was so quiet that the usual Hazel would actually feel awkward by that but now? She enjoyed it.

Derek felt her stare and looked up to meet her eyes that were straight on him. The expression she held was completely emotionless but also intense.

He opened his mouth but Hazel's harsh and cold stones eyes that were staring at him and the way she shortly, slightly and slowly shook her head to demand him not to. She kept watching how he was having it difficult at that moment.

"I wouldn't take it personally. Anger is just a tool." Peter spoke up from the staircase as he stood. "He's using it to excuse, shifting allegiance from one Alpha to another." Peter said, walking down the stairs when Derek looked at him. "From you to Scott."

"Scott's not an Alpha yet." Derek said, looking away.

"But he's on his way, isn't he?" Peter rose a brow. Hazel quietly scoffed when she watched Peter. He seemed to notice it and still with the sly smirk, he knitted his brows. "Something wrong, Hazel?"

She lifted her button lip up and looked to Derek then back to Peter before she nodded. "Let's go back to the part you said that anger is just a tool and that he's using an excuse. I don't think he's the only one to say that."

"Are you with him?" Peter asked, mentioning Isaac.

"Yes." She stated, her eyes revealing madness before looking down to Derek with anger. "I waited for someone to finally say it."

To Derek's point of view, it killed him how she said that. With so much press and proudness of the way she said it in anger.

That's when Hazel decided to walk off, already feeling her inner Vampire.

Her inner Vampire is calling to beat that ass of his.
