THE NEXT DAY, DEREK HAD CALLED HATEL TO COME OVER AT HIS NEW APARTMENT.
And there she was now. Sitting with a her whole leg on one table while standing with the other with Derek that sat next by the table, looking down and Isaac pacing back and forth in thoughts by the huge window angled across nearly a full wall.
Talking about the loft Itself has a very spacious main room with concrete floors and a large back wall of windows overlooking the city; this room doubles as both a living room and a bedroom for Derek and his guests. There are also several smaller side rooms, including a utility room, and possibly another room. The main room also contains a spiral staircase that leads to a second floor.
"You know, I'm starting to not like this idea. Sounds kind of dangerous." Isaac said as he kept pacing and stopped in his tracks as he tried to think further. "You know what? I definitely don't like this idea."
Derek that was looking far moved his eyes down to the book on his hands. "You'll be fine."
Isaac seemed to be stressed about the whole idea they made ever since then. Welp, Isaac had lost his memory to know where Boyd and Erica were last to be seen at and the only one to look into his memories was Peter to know. Isaac had a frown on his face. "Does it have to be him?"
"He knows how to do it. I don't." Derek said, still going through the book. "It'd be more dangerous if I tried doing it myself."
Isaac looked over to Hazel as he scoffed. "What's she actually doing here?"
Hazel rolled her eyes and shook her head as Derek answered. "Since she's nineteen and out of school, she'll be more with us now. She's gonna be an adult, you know?"
"Well, only takes a year." Isaac said.
"No it takes even a lot more Isaac. Wonder why you actually go to school if you're even here?" Hazel sarcastically said making Derek grin.
Isaac seemed to notice it and rolled his eyes before it went silent again. Still, Lahey wasn't out of his thoughts.
"You know, Scott doesn't trust him, right?" Isaac reminded. "You know, personally, I'dâ"
"Do you trust me?" Derek looked up to him with annoyance hidden behind making Hazel quietly let a short chuckle appear to which they couldn't hear.
Isaac stared at him before replying. "Yeah." Derek went back to reading his book when the two thought it was going to be the end of Isaac's blabbing but no. They thought wrong. "I still don't like him."
"Nobody likes him." Blankly, Derek stated before the metallic door slid open to reveal the well known Peter Hale.
The three watched him with a blank but most normal look.
And there he started moving his mouth as always. "Boys and girl. FYI, yes, coming back from the dead, has left my abilities somewhat impaired. But! The hearing still works. So I hope you're comfortable saying whatever it is that you're feeling straight to my face."
"We don't like you." Derek blankly stated and slammed the book shit and placed it on the table as he stood up, "Now shut up and help us."
Peter rise his brows in surprise. "Fair enough." His claws appeared with one strike. Hazel's face fell once she saw them but hid it along with Isaac.
He stepped forward to Isaac. "Relax. I'll get more out of you if you're calm."
"How do you do know how to do this again?" Isaac asked Peter that stood behind him and had already taken off his jacket.
"It's an ancient ritual used mostly by Alphas, since it's a skill that requires quite a bit of practice." Peter answered, looking at his claws before bringing his three clawed fingers up to the back Isaac's neck. "One slip, and you could paralyze someone. Or kill them." Derek and Hazel looked up to him at the last part.
"But you've had a lot of practice, though, right?" Isaac asked him in worry. He was indeed like a ten year old kid.
"Well, I've never paralyzed anyone." Peter said, taking a look at Isaac's neck while Derek and Hazel gave a confused look to each other.
"Wait, does that mean that youâ" The worried words weren't finished when Peter dug his claws inside while Isaac quickly held him tight in pain.
Derek and Hazel sat up straighter as they watched and noticed Peter's eyes glowing blue. His head tilted up and down again, trying to find the memories.
Both started grunting when Isasc started to move like he wanted to get out of Peter's grasp as the other two quickly stood up.
"Wait, I see them." Peter said as he panted.
Derek and Hazel shared a worried look before Peter pulled away by the feeling they both couldn't hold on to.
Peter stood up from the ground while holding onto his arm. "What'd you see?" Derek asked him.
"It was confusing. Um, images. Vague shapes." He answered.
"But you found something." Hazel said.
"Isaac found them." Peter said not looking at any of them.
"Erica and Boyd?" Derek asked.
"Iâ I barely saw them. I mean, glimpses." Peter confusingly said.
"But you did see them." Derek rose his voice. He was getting irritated.
"And worse." Peter said when Derek was in deep thought.
Hazel started to get to the point when both Derek and Hazel spoke up. "Deucation." Peter looked at the two as Derek sat back down.
"He was talking to them. Something about time running out." Peter explained when Isaac had the dare to ask.
"What does it mean?" He looked over to Derek.
Derek gave him a look before looking up to Peter. "He's gonna kill them."
"No, no, no, no, he didn't say that. He did make a promise that by the full moon that they'd both be dead." Peter corrected.
"The next full moon?" Hazel asked him.
Peter looked over at her. "Tomorrow night."

Later that day, Scott had called Derek and Hazel to come over to school to take a look at Allison's and Lydia's arm that had marks on it.
To Hazel's look it looked like a symbol.
"I don't see anything." Derek said making the girl shoot a confused glare at him.
"Look again." Hazel said.
"How is a bruise gonna tell me where Boyd and Erica are?" Derek sarcastically questioned, glaring at Allison that looked back at him.
"It's the same on both sides. Exactly the same." Scott said.
"It's nothing." Derek simply stated with a straight look at Allison.
Looking like they were shooting daggers at each other. Haven't liked or had a common to understand each other.
"Pareidolia seeing patterns that aren't there. It's a subset of apophenia." Lydia said.
Derek looked at Scott that looked back to him. "They're trying to help." Scott whispered.
Hazel that was in the middle watched Derek's expression turn funny as he looked over to the girls. "These two?" Then he pointed to Lydia. "This one, who used me to resurrect my psychotic uncle. Thank you." Then he turned to Allison. "And this one, who got about thirty arrows into me and my pack." Again, they blankly stared at each other and Hazel did not like that.
Stiles that sat at the table. "Okay, alright, now, come on. No one died, alright? Look, there may have been a little maiming. But no death. That's what I call an important distinction."
"My mother died." Allison quietly added to Derek that looked back to her.
"Your family's little horror video killed your mother. Not me." Derek stated.
"That girl was looking for Scott. I'm here to help him, not you." Allison said.
"You wanna help? Find something real." Derek cleared out to her.
Derek proceeded to walk off when Scott walked after him. Derek turned around and stepped closer to him. "Give her a Chance. Okay, they're on our side now."
"Well, then maybe you should tell her what her mother was actually trying to do that night." Derek said as he walked out.
Hazel gave them all an apologetic look before going after him.
Allison & Derek be building enemies in between lmao.
