Chapter 34: 30- Detention

SPY ✔︎ DEREK HALEWords: 8077

FOLLOWING THE DAY, HAZEL KNEW IT WAS GONNA GET TENSE AND INTERESTED JUST BECAUSE SCOTT WAS HAVING HIS EXAM TEST, ALLISON DOING WHATEVER SHE WAS GOING TO AND STILES ALONG.

It took Hazel two books to place them inside the locker as she closed it and walked forward, on her way to spot Stiles or at least Allison on the way.

She sighed and noticed that no one was around that she's mostly with until her sensation hit by a clawed hand reaching out to her shoulder making her stumble against those lockers.

Hazel gasped and turned to see Erica with an evil grin on her face, stalking closer to her. Hazel was confused why Erica was picking on her now but she was not going to let herself down from her.

Just some selfish bitch she was.

"Well, well... if that is not Hazel McCall in front of me." Erica slyly said, eying her.

Hazel's brows knitted and stood there confused. "Well then, good morning this is Beyoncé in front of you?" She spoke in a 'duh' tone.

Erica snarled a chuckle at that response and her expression turned hard and Hazel did not want to guess what was going to happen next.

"You really think you're funny?" She gritted.

Hazel clicked a tongue to the side of her cheek. "I think so, yeah."

Erica scoffed and pressed her harder against the lockers, holding her tight by the throat making it difficult for Hazel to breath.

"Listen up here McCall. I know what's going on between you and Derek. Don't think that I didn't notice, 'cause I can smell every bit of touch that you guys have on each other. Even your lips touching in difficult moments." Slowly, a smile formed on her face which looked like she was about to have an evil answer. And yes, it was like that. "Though our lips did touch."

Hazel's eyes wanted to go wide but along with her stomach that dropped and her mind going completely complicated, she didn't show it.

"Ooh... Hazel." She fake pouted. "Don't be sad. It's just a kiss." She smiled.

That's when Hazel decided to push Erica off of her and walked past her and luckily Stiles arrived right next to her.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked before looking behind to Erica that followed them and looking back to Hazel. "Did she hurt you?"

"It doesn't matter." Her anger showed the expression making it clear to Stiles that went to Erica talking about God knows what.

That is when Hazel stopped walking when she noticed all the water flowed out from the boys room.

The other two behind her seemed to have noticed it too until Scott flew out and landed on the floor.

Hazel stepped back with shock over her.

Jackson appeared by hovering over Scott to pull at him but luckily Erica grabbed him with a tight grip, pulling him back while Hazel and Stiles pulled Scott back wren Mr. Harris arrived.

"What the hell is going on here?" Mr. Harris shouted. "Hey! Enough! Enough." He stomped over with a few other students behind. Scott sighed while running a hand through his wet hair. "What do you idiots think you're doing? Jackson! Calm down! Mr. McCall, you wanna explain yourself? Stilinski? The other McCall?" Hazel rose her hands in surrender.

"You dropped this." A student said to Scott with the IPad in his hand but Mr. Harris harshly snatched it away from him.

"You and you..." He mentioned to Jackson and Scott but then paused. "Actually, all of you... detention 3.00 o'clock."

Hazel stared at Mr. Harris with a gaped mouth feeling so angered and unfair by that action he had to make.

"Don't look at ne like that!" He pointed his finger to the McCall when Stiles moved his hand to close her upper mouth by the chin.

At the time they had to come over for Detention, they all arrived by the library and sat down by the separated desks.

Hazel sat down, opposite from Stiles and Scott until Erica sat right next to her. Her eyes tried their best to not roll to the back of her head but kept cool.

That's when Jackson spoke up in a quiet tone. "We can't be in detention together. I have a restraining order against these tools."

"It's funny how you call us tools when you're literally acting like one." Hazel gritted making Jackson harden his gaze on her and the brunette gave it along.

"All of these tools?" Mr. Harris questioned Jackson.

"No, just us tools." Stiles added making the younger McCall shot a glare at him.

"Fine. You three, over there." Mr. Harris pointed to the table right next to them.

They quickly stood up and went to the other desk and sat down. Scott sat down and Stiles and Hazel sat across from him.

Jackson gave them a look of unfair that made Hazel sarcastically smile at him. Scott fisted his hand in anger. "I'm gonna kill him."

"No, you're not." Stiles pointed his finger at him. "You're going to find out who's controlling him and then you're gonna help save him."

"No. You were right, let's kill him." Scott said, completely angered by the dude. No wonder, Hazel had enough from him.

"Oh, no." Stiles sighed and looked next to Hazel that did nothing but sit there. "You're not gonna say anything?"

Hazel slowly shot him a glare. "You really think I want him to my presence?"

They sat there for at least five minutes quiet and had nothing else to do but just be bored until the minutes would pass.

"Hey. What if it's Matt?" Stiles broke the silence.

"Who's Matt?" Hazel questioned.

Stiles nodded his head over to the boy sitting across Jackson. "Over there." Hazel turned her head to see him. He continued. "I mean, this whole thing comes back to the video, right?"

"Danny said that Matt was the one who found the two hours of footage missing." Scott reasoned in wonder.

"Exactly! He's trying to throw suspicion of himself." Stiles said.

"So he makes Jackson kill Issac's dad, one of Argent's hunters, and the mechanic working on your Jeep?" Scott guessed.

"Yes!"

"Why?" Hazel questioned.

"Because..." He looked over to Matt trying to process how to continue his words for an answer. "He's evil."

They looked over to see Matt eating his snacks there and Hazel started to feel bothered by him. When Hazel gets a bad or weird feeling in her stomach then something doesn't feel right.

"You just don't like him." Scott tried to tell him but they both didn't have it.

"The guy bugs me. I don't know what it is." Stiles reasoned, watching him as the two leaned back unbothered by watching him.

"Just look at his face." Disgusted, Hazel added with the same face. And let's not forget Stiles.

Matt moved his snacks to pass some for Jackson but he denied. Scott shook his head and turned back to the two. "Any other theories?"

Suddenly, Hazel noticed Jackson's weird moves as if something wasn't right with him when Matt asked. "You okay?"

But Jackson stood up and grabbing his bag while having a hand on his forehead. "I have to go to the bathroom."

"Are you alright?" Mr. Harris asked him. "You don't look so good."

"I just need to get some water." Jackson said but that of course was not it.

Mr. Harris stood up and stepped over. "No one leaves their seats."

But that didn't clear the three duos' minds and quickly stood up, rushing to sit at Erica's table when Scott was the first to speak up. "Stiles says you know how Jackson's parents died."

"Maybe."

"Talk."

She stopped writing on her notebook and closed it before looking up to Scott. "It was a car accident. My dad was the insurance investigator, and every time he sees Jackson drive by in his Porsche, he makes some comment about the huge settlement he'll be getting when he's 18."

"So not only is Jackson rich now, but he's getting even richer at 18?" Stiles questioned.

"Yep." Erica grinned.

"There's something so deeply wrong with that." Stiles continued before looking to the other two.

"You know what? I could try to find the insurance report in my dad's inbox." Erica said. She opened her laptop reaching right through it. "He keeps everything."

But then the speaker went on.

"Scott and Hazel McCall, please report to the Principal's office." They all stopped and gave looks at each other.

Sorry that I needed a while to upstate :()
