Samantha continued, “Turn this fake pregnancy into a real one. Swap Mr. Ellison’s bloodline for yours. This is a win–win for both of us. So, Mr. Andrew… are you in?”

Andrew pondered. In? Of course, I’m in!

The truth was, when Andrew had barged into the hospital room, threatening to expose them, it had all been an act. His real purpose was to win them over.

Andrew grabbed her hand, running his fingers over her skin. “Is that so?”

Elizabeth giggled and leaned into his arms. “Of course, Mr. Andrew. And if you don’t want to wait twenty years… we can find another way. For example, while I share a bed with Mr. Ellison, I could… take care of him. Or, I could poison his food little by little… Once he’s dead, everything will be yours.”

Andrew burst into laughter.
