Chapter 104 Mr Ellison Says, No Meeting
The victors are kings, and the defeated are criminals.
The onceâglorious second son of the Ellison family, the one everyone expected to lead the family, now had nothing left.
His mother was in prison, his father had no power, and only his grandfather still cared enough to give him a way out. For someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth, living so humbly was probably worse than death.
Perhaps Carolineâs gaze was too focused, as Andrew noticed and looked over at her. They exchanged a brief glance before both quickly looked away.
At that moment, in the CEOâs office.
âMr. Ellison, Andrew has officially joined the company, William reported. âAs instructed, weâve already installed surveillance cameras and audio recorders in his office.â
âMm. Keep watching.â
âYes, Mr. Ellison.â
David sat at his desk, his pen moving swiftly across the paper, his eyes low, his expression less menacing than usual.
Seeing his good mood, William couldnât resist teasing him. âMr. Ellison seems in good spirits today.â
âCould be better,â David replied casually. âI slept well last night.â
Not every night had been like Caroline sleeping soundly while he tossed and turned.
Now, it is her turn to feel⦠What itâs like to suffer from insomnia! With that thought, Davidâs lips curled into a faint smile, something he didnât even realize.
Just as William was about to leave, a womanâs voice suddenly rang out from outside, shouting, âI need to see Mr. Ellison! You blind fools, donât you recognize me? Step aside!â
William quickly said, âMr. Ellison, Iâll go check.â
Without looking up, Davidâs voice was cold as ice. âDonât let her in.â
âUnderstood.â
Elizabeth was stopped at the elevator entrance.
She pushed the security personnel away, desperately trying to make her way to the CEOâs office.
When she saw William, she hurriedly said, âWilliam, Mr. Ellison is in, right? Please tell him Iâm here.â
As she spoke, Elizabeth forced a smile.
Normally, she was too proud to even glance at William

âWhat? Thatâs impossible! Mr. Ellison wouldnât refuse to see me.â
âMr. Ellison did say so.â
Elizabeth clenched her teeth. âDid he say anything else
âNo.â
Elizabeth still didnât believe it. âNo, I need to see Mr. Ellison, just for a few minutes. Let me in!â
William replied, âMr. Ellison has made it clear, Ms. Elizabeth. Please donât waste your time.â
Finished
The elevator door slowly opened, descending. It almost looked like they were about to push Elizabeth in.
âMr. Ellison! Mr. Ellison!â Seeing this, Elizabeth shouted louder, straining her voice. âIâve come to apologize, I know I was wrong. Please give me a chance. you canât treat me like this for one mistakeâ¦â
But no matter how much she screamed, the CEOâs office door remained firmly closed.
David only felt annoyed by the noise, his expression unchanged.
She should be at home reflecting on her actions, yet she came here to embarrass herself.
His patience with Elizabeth had completely run out, and whatever lingering goodwill he had for her was long gone, completely evaporated. Especially now, knowing what she had done, it was clear how malicious her intentions were.
After more than ten minutes of futile insistence, Elizabeth was forced to leave reluctantly.
She even tried calling David, but the phone rang once before it was hung up.
