At this thought, Yao Lili immediately released her grip on Mo Zhi and turned to Mo Xicheng, who had since been standing on the side, watching the scene unfold.

Her eyes immediately narrowed as she charged up to him, wailing. “Mo Xicheng, I’m your mother! Even if I’m not your real mother, I brought you up. You must not be ungrateful, or you will cause the wrath of the heavens. You can’t treat me like this! Say something. If only you’d speak up for me, they’d let me off! Mo Xicheng stared at the distraught Yao Lili.
