The Road Trip...He then said it's my order and stared the two...Sukh was about to make another excuse when she looked into his eyes ...she sensed something in then like they are pleading to do something...she thought, he used to be the boss here and now when he has retired from his work does it mean that his orders should not be followed ; his decisions are worth doubting..See Sukh he is the person because of whom, joining Malhotra Industries was a dream job to you....He is just asking me to accompany with Rishabh Sir... may we fight all day long but at the end of the day he is my boss....and moreover I can't reject Rakshit Sir's proposal....He was thinking the same way he didn't wanted Sukh to accompany him  He feels she hardly will be a good companion for him ; they fight all the time and hardly agree upon something together...He was about to say No when she holded his handsand agreed Ok Sir as you say,You are the boss here...and smiled back to him....A satisfying smile appeared on his faceHe stood up from his chair and bid Goodbye to Sukh.... he asked Rishabh to be at home early as he will be discussing about the bookings and arrangements for the place  and he dismissed himself from the two.. then he left for Malhotra Mansion....All that while Rishabh was glaring at Sukh....After his departure... Rishabh roughly holded Sukh's wrists which makes her wince in pain....He rebuked gritting his teeth...why did you agree to it...I may have convinced him to withdraw the idea....I can't bear your presence around myself and you agreed to the plan.... Why did you did so!!!....Sukh was angry after hearing his words ...it's been almost two days he is snapping upon her and she for sure is not one of those who listens to anyone when it's not her fault.... She jerked her hands away and putting them upon her waist replied....What do you think of yourself to be.... mind you Sir...maybe you are the boss here but not my God ....I can never reject Rakshit Sir's proposal...I admire him a lot....he was the man because of whom I wanted to join Malhotra Group of Industries....Rishabh stood there watching her in amusement....she mumbled to herself people like you are grumpy and insensitive....Lehaz aur Izzat sirf kehne ke sabd nahi hai....woh bade hai humse, unki baat nahi taal sakte hum.... (there is something like consideration and respect, I can't disrespect him )Rishabh couldn't make out what she mumbled so he walked towards her.... she was amazed seeing him walking like a zoombie  she took steps back until she hit the wall.... he stopped when they were a few inches away....and chided in anger "Repeat what you just said"...Sukh was froozen at her place for few seconds....his breath was fanning her face  she was nervous and a bit scared....they were really intimate at the moment, thank God none of the staffs are around, she gulped a lump in her throatHe said....the words again gritting his teeth...she turned her head away and he too noticed their intimacy....He felt appalled too, and took a few steps back.....Sukh composed herself and replied....I was mumbling that... I am not insensitive and ruthless like you, I adore him so I will never say No to him.. You have a problem so you got to deal with it...I don't mind traveling with you or anyone if it's an order and I may be am quarrelsome but am a very good employee and will never repost my orders....He intensely gawkled at her and was about to say something more .....she was annoyed by this continuous staring session between the two so she incontinently stuck out her tongue infront of him and left the place....Rishabh was left there amused .....he saw her walking towards the elevator...        He shoved his hands to his pockets and thought to himself  God I can't beleive this did she just struck her tongue out..... that's Unbelievable and so unethical...I can't imagine ki koi itna bachpana itne seriously kaise kar sakta hai.....(how can someone behave so childish so seriously)and Dad thinks we can be a good team...I don't want to question him but I seriously doubt his decision for the first time....In her way towards the elevator she was mumbling to herself... I didn't wanted him to hear all that so I was mumbling everything under my breath ,  but he wanted to listen so I spilled it...it's not my fault...She went to the 24 the floor and found everyone there already....they were settled down in the floor wearing the simple night dresses they carried..She was walking towards one of the desks lost in her thoughts when a voice broke her terrace she found that it was Malvika who called her....she asked where were you....she teased you missed the first break see it's almost 7:55pm you will be late ...She replied her with a small smile I will be here within 5 minutes and  went back to her room .....They all resumed working as per the scheduled time....she was thinking about the trip, being aware of the weather around the outskirts of the city she will be needing some warm clothes atleast a shawl or something to keep herself warm .... moreover she wanted to visit home....to see her mother, to hug her before she leaves....She abruptly stood up from her place and announced guys I am going back to home tonight ....Dhruv Sir will be here within 15 minutes and he will be guiding you all....And yes... I will also be available to you all you can call or text me anytime ....She informed everyone "we will soon be finalising the land for the project..."Everyone was so happy hearing that...they all Congratulated her.....She gathered all her stuff and ran towards the basement....She went to the Parking area and ignited Shivalik's engine.....That Night....Rishabh made all the arrangements for the surprise visit of his parents...Sukh's visit was a surprise for her family On reaching home..She was happily greeted by Roohi and her Mom  she came across the point that her Dad went out of station for some legal matters...She informed his mother about the visit and also about Abhimanyu... tears escaped from her eyes and she cried resting her head on his mother's lapHer mother consoled her by saying follow your heart dear it never liesShe nodded her head and wiping her tears said thanks Mom for always encouraging and trusting me....she tapped her forehead and said now get up resume your work, I will make arrangements for your visit....on the other hand Roohi was vexed about Rishabh , she presumed him to be the most ruthless guy ...At Malhotra Mansion while Rishabh's Father was most eager for the journey his mother was adamant to stay back,she didn't wanted him to be careless towards his health again and traveling can risk his condition....Surprisingly he was there witnessing his parents fight....but actually he was happy.....they were fighting for themselves not within themselves....Atlast his father gave up ,as he had no points to convince her and he saw Rishabh with appealing eyes.....Rishabh holded his mother's hands and said Maa don't worry the place is near us  I assure you , you will like the place ; see you are fighting with him for his health, but keeping him trapped is not helping him anywayI think you guys need a break from the city life...  Dad promised me he will take care of himself and will have all his medications on time he is not going to trouble you Pakka.... ( for sure)...She looked at Rishabh then again at Rakshit and finally agreed for the trip....They left for the journey by their Private Jet around 2:00 pm at night....as his Dad was resoluted to see the rising sun there...He went to the Airport to see off his Dad even Dhruv was there to bid them Goodbye...he went there from office and left to office again....while Rishabh came back to the Mansion to collect his stuffs...he was missing his parents presence ...but was contented seeing them happy ; and the million dollars smile on their faces,keeping the thoughts of them he resumed working upon the Contracts....While he was working on his laptop ,he reminded of Sukh; he forgot to inform her that he will be picking her up at around 5:30.... he called at Office but was informed she left for her home.... He called at her personal number but it was not Sukh on the other side....The call was responded by Roohi and seeing it was from Rishabh she snapped Jiji can't talk right now as she is sleeping...Rishabh was surprised as there was no greetings and asked may I know whom I am talking to ....she snapped back, I am her sister Roohi Mehra ...you can text her she will respond if she will feel like and yes don't dare to comprehend all this to Jiji don't you ever complain about me to Jiji ....Rishabh smiled and questioned why will she punish you....Roohi irritatedly replied she love me and so will never punish me she will always take my side... I wanted to save your efforts going in vain.... but if you are so eager then go ahead....He chuckled and disconnected the call...        he thought to himself the whole family is snappish... I used to think Sukh is the most quarrelsome person I will ever come across but her sister ... I must say she was terrific...Reminiscing today's inciedents he chuckled mumbling to himself...The way she stuck her tongue out today that was so rude and unethical, but don't know why she looked cute doing that,wait maybe not unethical that was so childish...not even kids nowadays do this... Jhalli jehe!!!!....(mad isn't she)Well she was right, I should text her, that will be the best way to communicate....Next Morning....Sukh woke up around 4:00 and saw the text at her inbox, it was from Rishabh...and stated I will pick you up from your home at 5:00am be ready I don't like unprepared stuff and unprepared staffs...she rushed to the washroom and took a quick shower ... running down the kitchen she found no one there...An opportunity to cook for her ....she hurried herself and cooked some dishes for everyone .... she packed some of it for lunch and breakfast and quickly went to the hallshe collected her bags from her room and covered herself with a shawl as it was cold outside....she was about to leave when her mother came out of her room and asked why are you up so early...She hugged her and said Mom I wrote everything on the note ... Rishabh Sir is waiting and I can't be late .... Sorry got to leave early I made the breakfast today please let me know later if you liked it or loved it.... she kissed her cheek and ran towards the Door....Walking at the lane she noticed that she received a audio message from Abhimanyu last night...it stated that I am taking a day off today Mam, last night my Mother was hyperventilating and the Doctors asked to be prepared for the operation... Sorry for the inconvenience I sent the files on your mail inbox please go through it once....she was anxious to know the status there so she called him... surprisingly he didn't responded...she then called Dhruv and he informed her that he was with Abhimanyu last night ,they are outside the ward and she is fine now...a smile appeared on her face and she wished his Mother speedy recovery...Rishabh left around 4:30from Malhotra Mansion.. collecting his small bag which had some extra clothes and his laptop... He was looking adorable in blue suit which perfectly fits him....his wet messy hair perfect jaws everything about him just seemed perfect....She was waiting for him to arrive with all her stuffs...and as usual he was on time....Rishabh was elated seeing Sukh on time and was amazed with the luggage she carried...He pulled his car infront of her         and turned to look at her ....while she was there standing in blue coloured salwar kurti...and wrapping herself in red coloured shawl...Her beautiful brown hair was sweeping with the wind as if the cold breeze was fingering it....her skin looked so fresh and her warm smile, everything was so enchanting....he was mesmerized seeing her....She too observed his looks and found that he is looking very handsome today, blue color definately suits him.... she controlled her emotions and prevented herself from adoring her bossshe walked to the car and putting her phone at the passenger seat asked him to open the car's trunk....He teased her by saying it's just a day's trip Sukh we will be returning within evening today you didn't need to carry stuffs for the whole week  while she weakly smiled to him....He was about to get up from his seat to help her but she insisisted that she will manage it he doesn't need to get up ,he smiled back to her and did as she said...Keeping the stuff inside she sat next to him in the passenger seat and he ignited the car's engine .....The journey was quite initially Sukh was looking outside the window while he was concentrated on driving ....a message beeped on her phone and he peeked it he saw the recent calls and Abhimanyu's name there....he felt a bit agitated by this and a frown appeared on his face...he jerked the accelerator of the Car and drove it fast Sukh who was calm atfirst felt scared all of a sudden but it was not her to place to fight with him he holded the dashboard of the car and her seat belt tightly.....She closed her eyes in nervousness and started chanting God's name....he turned towards her and noticed the fear in his face,it was cold there but her face formed droplets of sweat at her forehead even her eyes were showing anxiety.....He asked what's wrong with you!!!! I lowered the speed , and moreover it's not that fast....        She stammered answering nothing I am just Tachophobic, it's inherited from my mother's side....He realized his mistake and soon stopped the car ...he generously asked do you have any medication for that are you alright...She holded her hands near her chest to stop the ponding heart...she looked at him and said Can you get me some water please.......he quickly reached for the bottle at the car and handled her that, she drank some gulps of it and calmed herself...He snapped you must have said me that you have a phobia with fast cars I would have stopped...she replied It's your car and it's not my place to quarrel with you upon the matter which is not bothering me....He ran his hands through his hair and asked should we.....She nodded her head and he resumed driving.....Sukh was bored of the silence so she plugged in the music at the car's amplifier....She started Dancing and jumping over the beats of the Bollywood Punjabi music she played while Rishabh got a bit irritated....he turned the channel to news ....she pouted her face and looked away, after few minutes she changed the channel again....while he was adamant to switch it...their hands brushed in the hussle and he felt the electric jolts again with her touch....while she felt the same way...She turned around to hide her face and snapped hearing news while driving is boring just like you  I think you should practice to listen music it will change your mind and prevent your mood swings.....He lambasted excuse me Did you just called me Moody....She turned towards him and replied Yes I did called you Moody .....He snapped back saying Ms.Mehra I think despite learning to follow orders you must work upon improving your ethics  you can't just finger my amplifier, sitting in my car and accuse me of being Moody....she pouted her face and turned towards the window mumbling something he can't make out ,  he wanted to hear that too but knew about the consequences...He drifted his concentration to driving again...Some fifteen minutes passed and there was silence around them...none of the two spoke and the only sound heard was of a reporter reciting something about the weather which he had least interest upon....Rishabh's POV:He was agreed to her listening music was a better option but if he will change it now she will win and that he doesn't want to happen...without turning towards her he asked or literally ordered you can change the channel to music I don't have any problem with that.... No answer. . ..by her sideHe repeated Sukh I am saying you can switch it Ok.... Yet no answer....He felt that she is showing tantrums to him ..... he thought to himself she can not be so stubborn everytime.. .she should answer me.... I am her boss and can't bear her childish behaviour frustrated and snapping Sukh you should answer when someone calls you he slightly twirled his head and saw something unexpected ....She was in deep slumber wrapping her shawl across her shoulders... some fringes of her hair were falling on her face ......she was looking breathtaking so simple, elegant , naive and innocent....        he was mesmerized seeing her ...and promptly jerked the brakes of the car....her body jerked away and it fall to his sideSukh's POV:He is definately right I must not have suggested him to listen to music everyone had their own preferences and personality...I must not have said him grumpy and moody , that was unethical ....and the stupidity I did was last night must not be mentioned.. strucking my tongue out infront of him ....I don't have anything to justify myself over it.... I don't know what came over my mind and I did that  he is my boss and the office has a protocol....Maybe that's the reason he never takes me seriously..... it's better he is not saying anything now.... but I want to listen music ....it's my habit, music soothes my soul everything seems perfect when you listen to good music but I can't do anything to it.....I must look outside....and she didn't realized when sleep overtook her....When the car jerked and she gained consious the first thing she asked him was Aap thik hai, kahin chot toh nahi aayi  (are you alright, are you hurt somewhere ) !!!!!! despite thinking about herself which one normally doesHe was amazed but then he shook his head in Yes and replied Nahi koi baat nahi hai Hum thik hai Aap thik hai na... (no it's nothing like that I am Ok are you fine)in a concerned voice.She nodded her head in yes then asked achanak gadi kyu rok di; accident hone wala tha Kya... ...(why you suddenly stopped the car was it about to hit something...was accident was about to take place)in a nervous toneShe gazed up and found him staring her ....he had a small smile on his face as if he has seen the most strangest creature....She looked down and saw she was clinging his arms tightly as if her life is dependent on it....        her face turned red and she shifted herself back to the passenger seat...She murmered Sorry to him biting her lips it was her habit whenever she is nervous.... He nodded his head ...and then said you can switch the channel to whatever suits you  I have no problem with that.....She asked in confusion anything I like... he replied Yes  you mean base boosted music, with beats too... he again replied Yes ....She again asked are you sure!!!! he glared and replied forget it ....she said one last thing may I dance too I promise I will not fight after that... he nodded his head in response .....A brightest smile appeared on her face and she turned the music on she was dancing by moving her hands, singing along the lines and was busy enjoying herselfshe was swaying her hairs smiling and staring out.... chirping like a bird...she didn't even bothered what the person beside her will think of her....while he was smiling and glancing her in midst of the driving session...** girls usually maintain posture and elegance infront of him ,many tried to seduce him while others can fall on their foot to gain his attention but unlikely he don't know why he was attracted towards her, maybe because he never meet someone like this...**It's been three hours he was driving and they reached the outskirts of the town....it was drizzling there,Sukh was tired of Dancing so she turned to romantic music....she was staring out from the window the suddenly she asked how much time more do we need.....He replied two hours more I guess...the shortcut is closed due to rains so we will have to take a long routeshe sighed and replied I am hungry I didn't had anything since Morning....in a sweet voicehe turned to her and replied you may have said me that earlier there was an inn some 15 kms back .....she cut him off saying I brought the food with me I just want your permission....He looked at her and said you don't need to ask me that ....You are not my employee nowshe again said but I brought the food for both of us..I know I may be am not a good cook like your chefs but trust me it is eatable...in a sarcastic tone ....he was about to repost when his stomach growled ...he was left embarrassed... simultaneously her stomach growled as well and they both started laughing over each other....She asked him to park the Car ,and self went out to collect the bag...while he stood there in amusement...        She then asked him to come to the back seat and served the food for both of them.....He enjoyed the food she madeit was typical North Indian breakfast compromised of Paratha and Mixed veg alongwith some Sooji Chilla (Indian bread with veg curry and Sooji Chilla)  it had perfect combination of the spices and condiments he admired her cooking skills and wanted to admit that it tastes great, but was resoluted not to show it on his face....She didn't expected any compliments from him as well, she was just happy with the fact that he agreed on having breakfast with her....They were munching on their food when she asked what about Rakshit Sir and Mam when are they leaving for their trip...He smirked and replied they already left with our private jet.....She replied happily that's Great....He chuckled and replied I know it's great to have a private jet we just brought a new one last ye....When she cut him off and chided No I meant it's great that they left for their vacation together .... their togetherness is great the idea of spending time together is great I was not talking about the Private Jet  I mean it's a Great thing too but a bit less than being togetherhe was left dumbfounded  thinking to himself, she was happy about the togetherness thing not about the Jet either she is alien or a philosopher.... who are infactuated with love and live life in fantasy....He then replied yes Dad was resoluted to see the rising sun there....with a small smile...She shifted herself to get the remote and changed the music .... and was munching happily over the food while he was staring her ..she asked don't you like the food Sir.... he nodded in Yes  then she asked again you are not having anything .... Sir bhuke pet toh jang bhi nahi jeti jati aur hume toh abhi khob saari ladai karni hai !!!! (no one can win a war with hungry stomach and. we are ought to fight many fights you will need strength....) with a small wink in a sarcastic tone....he conjoined Sukh I must admit the food is really Good...but Dhyan kahi aur hai humara Papa apni Surgery ke baad pehli baar out of station Gaye hai I hope koi complications na ho..(I am thinking about something else Dad went out of station for the first time after his surgery I hope no complications occur ) in a concerned voice....She holded his hands then replied koi complications nahi hogi dekhna aap woh khushi khushi Gaye hai khushi khushi hi wapas aayenge....(there will be no complications don't worry he went there happily he will return happily) in a sweet tone..After the food they shifted back to the front seats and she dramatically saidThanks for the compliment Sir and tapped her shoulders chanting You are great Sukh you are been complimented by Mr Malhotra.....He glanced her and ingnited the engine....Reaching the venue they were greeted by Mr Prasad.... Rishabh introduced him to Sukh as the Property Dealer.....He showed him the land and he kind of liked it but all that while she was looking suspiciously on Mr Prasad she sensed something wrong with his attitude , the way he showed the land to him it was like he is in a hurry....while he was discussing the matter with him she was wondering around the land.....After their meeting Mr Prasad suggested you can get the land and it will just cost you 50 Cr.... he was even ready with the Contract Paper....Rishabh was about to sign the papers when she snatched the Papers from his hand and said Sir listen to me I want to say something really important,he thought she is kidding again then replied not now Sukh I am busy ...he tried getting the Papers from her hand but she teared it into two pieces in irritationthat fumed his anger and he shouted What is this nonsense...Mr Prasad said again Don't worry Sir we have a copy of the contract papers....She gave Mr Prasad a look of disgust and shouted  Listen to me Rishabhji I want to say something serious and you ....we are not paying you a single penny for this land do you get that...Rishabh was left stunned at this; it was the limit for him ....______________________________________Glimpse of the next chapter.....Sukh : I must apologise about my behavior I am really guilty but what should I do he is not even glancing me....is he that angry on me.....Rishabh: why is she so uncertain ...one moment she is all sweet and the other so sensible...one moment she is the one who spill the beans and the other moment she is the savior....was I wrong about her....______________________________________So guys We are at the end of this chapter......Hope you guys enjoyed it.....And for those who don't know it ,words after the symbol **  implies comment from the writer......See you all in the next chapter update...Till then Smile 😁 and spread happiness around you^_^In case no one told you today  You are very beautiful inside and out ...This is meSigning outBye:-):-):-):-):-)☺️.....
