chapter 16

 Dreams do come true.....Continuation of the night....It's been two hours the duo are staring the night sky bluntly at their respective places....They were about to leave for their rooms when a shooting star catches their attention...Sukh folded her hands and prayed        "Hume nahi pata ki hum kabhi bhi unki nazro mein apne liye waisi izzat  jaise woh baaki sabki karte hai dekh payenga ya nahi ,Hum nahi jante ki humari Kya galti hai Jo woh humse itni nafrat karte Hain...Aaj toh jhoote hone ka bhi tag lag gaya humpeAap toh sab jante hai ,Lavanya ji ke jhoot ke baare mein bhi ,kaash ki yeh Sach unko bhi pata chal Jaye ; kaash ki unko humari Sachai  aur mehnat dikhai de jaaye...Kash Woh humse Raazi ho Jaye...."( I don't know if I will ever be able to work with dignity there nor I know what's my mistake that makes him hate me... God you know everything even about Lavanya I hope he too comes across it... He believes my innocence....)Roohi comes to her and hugged her from backside she says Don't worry Jiji your wish will come true for sure... Sukh smiled and said it's not a wish it's a dream.... Roohi chanted again Dreams do come true.... they both smiled turned to their room...Rishabh was about to turn again towards his room when he reminded his mother's words....she always says stars guide you when you need themBeta tutta Tara dekh ke Jo maango milta hai (Shooting star fulfil wishes)So he on the other side pleaded...Humne jaldi aapse kuch nahi manga hamesha apni mehnat ko priority di hai , lekin aaj baat kuch Aur hai ...mann tay nahi  kar pa raha hai ki vishwas Kare ya nahi uspe...Hume Rasta dikhaiye hum kisi ke bhi saath galat nahi karna chahte...lekin apne saath galat hone Dena bhi nahi chahte...(I have never asked for your favors without any efforts,I have always given priority to my hardwork for achievements ...but this time I need direction I can't decide whether to trust her or not  Show me the right direction ....I don't want to do anything wrong to anyone but will never late anyone do wrong with me...Next Morning at Malhotra Industries's Head Office...Rishabh and Sukh are both busy with their respective works ....Rishabh has an long day today, there are meetings to be taken care of also there are many contracts which he has to go through ....Sukh too had many files on working statics , all thanks to Lavanya who puts on more and more work to her desk , just to satisfy her ego....At around Lunchtime, Roohi calls Sukh from the venue, asking her to come home early for watching the  telecast of her Quarter Final Round of Science Quiz Competition....Sukh said I can't promise but I will try.....and now she is in a perplexed situation as she is afraid of asking Rishabh about a half day off..but she wanted to see her sister winning the round so she collected all her courage to face him...She hurried herself to work so she can complete the files early and can ask for his permission for an early off today;Rishabh is done with his clients and now is in his cabin disconcerted ......  Aarav promised him that he will handle him with the video of the incident and background check info about Sukh and Mr Kapoor within afternoon and he has not received it yet...His trail of thoughts was broken by the beeping sound of his phone....        He answered the call and found that person to be Aarav he informed him that he sent the reports and video in his mail inbox .....he thanked him and quickly went to check his email...But was about to open it when Mr Saxena called him...he was the investor in the Company's new venture of making beverage drinks... but as they were not prepared yet Mr Saxena is thinking of backing off the deal....Rishabh answered the call and went out of his cabin for a better conversation.. Finally he was able to convince him, to give them some more time...after there conversation he came back to his cabin and asked Lavanya to come in...He ordered her to make clerkial staff sort the files at the store room as they are expecting Editing for the semester at the end of this month and without checking the mail goes to attend another meeting....Sukh tried to reach Rishabh but as he was busy she has to ask Lavanya about it.. Lavanya went to his cabin on Sukh's request and found no one there ,She thought of an evil idea and  came back to her She said her as if conveying her his orders that Rishabh said you are new here so he can't give you a half day off but if you will sort the files at the storeroom within today's office hours he can give you an early off of 2 hours....Sukh thoughts to herself...the event will be telecasting from 5:30pm so if he will dismiss me 2 hours early I will be able to make it...just I will have to skip my lunch or munch it as early as possible 😁...fine it seems to be a good idea she smiled to herself and agrees to the work....Lavanya showed her the way to the Storeroom and came back to her desk....Rishabh hurriedly came back to his cabin after the lunch breakbut on his way to the cabin he took a look of Sukh's desk in order to find a glimpse of her...**it's a weird thing right , on one side he is looking for a reason to fire her from the post, but on the other hand he becomes restless without seeing her....love surely is complicated 😅**Back to his cabin he opened his mail inbox, and saw the video clip sent to him ,the video clearly shows Mr . Kapoor was at fault there and She was right in retreating him....and about the background check he found out that 6 months ago his secretary  accused him for molestation and his past records are not worth descriptive in the matter of girls **he for sure seems to be a jerk ....For Sukh he found out that her family shifted here 5 years back, and how his uncle cheated them, her family and previous job records ..   He was impressed by the fact that she worked hard for paying her fees and how she managed to get admission in the highest ranking college in the town....before going further he closed the file hearing footsteps he thought Sukh came to him to show the files....Sukh on the other hand discovered that she forgot her lunch today so she made her way towards the storeroom....she was traumatised seeing the large piles of files at the storeroom..she thought to herself aaj ka din hi hai humare pass aur itni saari files!!! Mr. Rishabh nahi !!! aaj se unka naam Mr Khadoos rakh de koi.... jyada suit karega unpe ...ab time waste karke Kya fayda jaldi se kaam shuru karte hain...(I just have a day's time to sort all this piles of files.. he should not be named as Mr Rishabh someone name his as Mr. Grumpy the name will suit him most..there is no use of wasting time in cursing him let's start with the work)...She tied her veil across her waist and started sorting the files.....she took out her marker pens and stick notes and started colour coding them within 3 hours she was done with most of them and was happy with her achievement...Just then she heard a loud thrashing sound of closing the door she rushed herself to the way and found the door to be locked.... she looked for her phone around so she can call someone for help but there was no network on her phone.  she banged the door, shouted for help and tried everything she could have done to save herself  but there was no one for response she left dishearted and started crying...        Rishabh was hard struck with the reality....which left him startled.. he was guilty upon his behavior for her...  He was about to leave for Sukh's desk when Dhruv entered his cabin...Rishabh composed himself and ask him for the reason of his arrival....Dhruv nagged him saying I wanted to see the bright moon like face of my brother...He handled him the file which he gave him last day along with the stick note which Sukh left at his desk that day...  He  said the reports drafted are awesome it's surely a work of excellence....and here its a love note for you ; Rishabh read it to find a note asking for permission of departure ....with Sukh's signature at the bottom....he thought to himself it must have been to him since I asked the peon to send all the files to Dhruv for reviews and analysis...Rishabh blurted out Yes it's done by Ms. Mehra on which Dhruv replied ... I had an intuition that only Sukh can do this.....Rishabh exclaimed him it's not Sukh it's Ms.Sukhpreet Mehra you are misunderstanding two peopleDhruv nagged him again saying Sukhpreet is Sukh....and left from his cabinHis words left a thrashing impact on him  he quickly rushed out of his cabin...         Reaching out He was greeted by his staff members for being nominated for the top businessmen awards.... everyone Congratulate him but he was looking for her ..he accepted the praises of his staff with small nods and smiles, and hurried his way towards her deskHe looked for her everywhere but found  her nowhere...he asked Lavanya about her and she plainly refused...he though to himself she must have been around  so he went back to his cabinAfter 15 minutes Mr Avasthi who is one of the senior staffs comes to him and asks for an early off on everyone's behalf for the auspicious news ....Rishabh agreed to it but was waiting for Sukh to come he thought to himself she was right she never lied to me I will wait here till she arrives I will surely sort the difference between us today....As everyone left from the office floor they switched off the lights and Sukh who was struck in storeromm began to panic... .she rushed towards the door and started banging it**For sure the door was much stronger than her, so all her efforts went in vain...**She became nervy at the sight before her ...she started trembling with fear and cried for help but still no answer..    She was deserted and thought that maybe she will not be able to reach home today...she sat at the corner of the room infront of window in the hope of being noticed by someone but started feeling dizzy as she skipped her meals today and literally eaten nothing since morning... He waited for 2 hours but She never came which make him frustrated...again he wakes out of his cabin and found no staff there except the watchmen ..He called him and asked did everyone left the office on which he replied yes Sir maybe....Rishabh replied in an annoyed tone Maybe!!!! your are the security incharge here how can you be so careless        he had a feeling of discomfort so he confirmed from the Security Manager about the departure of staffs from the executive floor .... He was informed by them that everyone but Ms Mehra checked out her code today..  He ordered them to find her as - if she doesn't left for home she must be in the Office .They looked over the CCTV footage and found her making her way towards the storeroom.....He bursted out in anger ....she was in office and it's your responsibility to make sure every employee check in and out on correct time.....I will not spare anyone if anything happens to her and runs towards the storeroom...._____________________________________Hey guys we are at the end of this chapter......Hope you guys like and enjoyed it....See you all in the next chapter update....Till then Smile 😊😊😁Don't forget to vote and comment ....This is me Signing out....****Bye***"
