First day at Malhotra Group of Industries ......Next Morning..... Sukh's Pov:        I woke up with the sound of my alarm clock ...... and was about to snooze it when realization hit me....I will be late for my workplace if I don't leave early........ I rise up from my bed and took shower...washed my hairs.... and wore my favorite red coloured Suit.... following my low makeup look I applied Kohl and lipbalm and tied my hair into simple braids......I checked the time on the clock and found that I am running late by 5 minutes...I recalled by new boss's order " I don't like unprepared staff,"so I rushed out of my home but after sipping my coffee and a bread slice though, Maa was asking me to have more and was not letting me go ; but still she had to bear with me today.....I reached the bus stop just on time and got the first bus for departure...thank God I am on time.....I reached Office around 7:55 so I am early by 5 minutes... I hardly could find anyone there, there were not much staff now but I found a guy waiting at the visitor's corner.... I approached the person and found him to be Mr Rastogi....he is the man I am  ought to meet today before office commences..... I greeted him Good Morning and he wished me back with a bright smile..... I like people who smile most often, maybe because I like to smile 😁  jokes apart I feel a smile can make your day more happy, it fills you with confidence and energy..... leaving my thoughts behind I asked him "Sir I have never done this sort of job earlier it will be great if you will give me some tips along with my work brief ,"he smiled genuinely to me and said " beta it's Ok, you are more capable than me  and I know that ,that's make you the best ... Don't worry ,believe in yourself and for tips I will suggest just be hardworking ...it always pays back..." He tapped my forehead to give me blessings and after that he gave me my work brief, I came across the fact that Mr Rastogi is getting retired and last day was his farewell party at office....he used to work under Rakshit Malhotra... Rishabh's father....Mr Rastogi seemed to be a nice man in his mid 50s ..he left after giving me my work brief....so I headed to the HR department and submitted my documents....they asked me to collect the Id and batch at sharp 9:00 amStill I have around 30minutes left so I helped myself around and after a good tour of the office and knowing the location of Conference room , Store room ,Server Room I came across my desk....my post and name was designated there...  I don't like sitting idle,whether in home or in Cafe I used to find something which keeps me busy ,15 minutes still left so I decided to use this for my creativity....I decorated my desk with beautiful floral stickers.....arrange my drawyers and arranged my stuff there....I placed Shivji and Gauri Ma ki Murti( God's idol )at the corner of my desk ,near the computer .....so they can see me and guide me if I am wrong in anything... well I know and beleived that God is everywhere but still I like carrying their idol with me,and the one I am carrying now is my favorite one, most closest to my heart...So I feel I am done for now...let's have some water it's been an hour I am pacing around this huge office....Just then... Rishabh enters the office and everyone greeted him Good Morning..he just nodded in answer ....and wished some of the old staff members back.....         Something caught his attention..... someone decorated the desk with floral stickers,and the idol, that's seems different but good different..it was creative.... he went near the desk and found it to be Sukh's table and the moment he read that , all the Good emotions flushed back..instead he got angry...He hurried to his cabin and called Sukh to his cabin.. He was pacing around the cabin when Sukh entered the room, she was carrying with her a bottle of water and hence he was moving around they both bumped to each other ...making Rishabh drenched.....Sukh was shocked and sorry at the same time...         He shot Sukh a deathly glare and shouted upon her...he yelled saying "Ms. Sukhpreet Mehra remind yourself, you are not walking on a treadmill so you need to open your eyes and see around.... You are dismissed for now.... Get out...I said leave!!!!"Sukh was terrified with this stunt of Rishabh she hurried her way out and thought to herself "yeh Kya ho gaya humse pehle hi din itni badi galti...ab hum Kya karenga "Rishabh called his driver and asked him to bring him, his other set of clothes ....his driver brought him his clothes within 15 minutes....Rishabh then thought of ways to teach her a lesson he called her to his cabin ....and asked her to take dictation.... Rishabh's words "I hope aapko Apne kaam ka breif mil chuka hai, right time pe toh aa hi gayi hongi aap office mein.." Sukh went numb for split seconds and she opened her mouth to say something but no words came out...she nodded her head in answer... Rishabh was waiting for her to say something but as he could not hear her ,he lifted his gaze up to find her nodding her head profusely... Rishabh was irked at this and says Ms. Mehra I am not so good with sign languages so instead of nodding say Yes or No... Sukh out of her reverie stammered saying " Yesss Sir!!!!!" Rishabh continued good so let's start the dictation....Take the writing pad from here and start writing.. Let me remind you I don't like repeating myself..  Sukh took the notepad and motioned him to start..... There continues Rishabh..... To Mr Bajaj  This is to inform you that your suggestion of merging the two companies was under consideration.................... ................................. ...........................therefore the deal seems passed  Looking forward to work with you With Regards  Rishabh Malhotra.... He narrated her the letter in a lightning speed ,just to make her realise that she is not worthit for the job and handed her two files containing contract papers , he asked her to make a report on them and submit it within 3 hours ..   Sukh seemed nervous at this ,Rishabh dismissed Sukh but not before saying if she fails to do this She will have to terminate the contract , Sukh left his cabin and reaching her desk prayed to God to help her ...She chanted "Har Har Mahadev "and began her work....Rishabh on the other side though to himself it's almost impossible to draft a contract report within 2 hours and I handed her two....let's see what will she do now and a evil smirk appeared on his face....Here, Sukh is hell worried and thinking of the ways to deal with this grumpy guy around ...now what will she do now...how will she cope up with the situation.. _______________________________________So guys we are at the end of this Chapter now....Hope You all enjoyed it...Don't forget to vote and comment.....See you all in the next update....Till then Smile and make others smile too🙂
