Chapter 12

Chris POV:

2 hours later...

After the talk with my sister. I went to my office and pour myself a drink.

It's my fault. Rachel and Blake are separated because of me. And it isn't their fault.

I can't even take care of Blake. I was failed as a father.

Can't believe the people I trust would do this to my son right under me.

Now, I think about it my sister was right about Natalie's character. She manipulated my son.

How dare she!

But, now that I think about it. I truly deserve her. First I loved her then she cheated on me and then she came back and I accepted her. Now, she manipulated my son. My son Blake liked her more than her real mother. But, why did she do this?

I can't see my son crying. He was wronged and manipulated by Natalie and his mom.

Even, my mother.

Why? Why? Did mom and Natalie do this? How can they do this to my son? Why didn't I know this before?

I know I'm at my fault here. But, I never manipulated my son to separate from his mother Rachel.

There are a lot of questions, I need answers to. I need to talk with my mom, how can she lie to her grandson.

I took my car keys and I need to ask my mother why she did this. I asked my parent's house butler, he said my parents are at home.

1 hour later...

Williams mansion, Hempstead, New York.

I went to my parent's house and rang the bell

"Good evening, master." Greeted George my parent's house butler. He's 65 years old.

"Hello, where is my mom," I asked him.

"She's in the living room sir, with the master." He smiled as he said.

"Thank you," I replied and went to the living room.

I saw my mom and dad talking with each other. As they were watching the news.

"Mom," I said in a tone contained with anger and hate.

"Chris, when did you come? Is little Blake with you?" My dad asked. As he drank his coffee.

"No, dad." As I said to him. I saw my mother sitting and looking at me.

"What's up, Chris? You came here at this time." My mom asked. Looking at me smiling.

"Why did you manipulate my son, Mom?" I asked her with full of hatred and disappointment. "Why did you say all those crap to my son?"

She looked shocked. Her eyes widened. And my dad was also shocked he looked confused.

"Chris, what are you saying?" My dad stood up as he was angered by my tone and confused as he don't know what's going on.

"Ask mom! dad, ask her why did she manipulate my son all these years feeding lies to my son." I told my father as he wanted to know what happened.

Both I and my father looked at mom. I was angered and dad was confused.

"Chris, when did I manipulate your son. What lies I told him?" My mom asked shocked like she did not know what she did.

"Mom didn't you manipulate Blake to hate his mother. Told her Rachel married me only for my money and our family power. And you even told him Rachel came into the relationship between me and Natalie." I told her in one breath.

"So, this is what you were talking about." My mom said. She looks at me and my father and said " Yes, I told him. So, what! I did this because for you and my grandson Blake. She, was not willing to give you divorce and custody and at that time Natalie was back and you loved her. So, I did what I should do." My mom said as if it was nothing.

I was shocked by my mom's face and voice. She was so calm. As if what she doing was something she would do naturally and if was nothing of importance. She was with no fear or regret. By the tone of my mom, one could say she was proud of what she did. Not al all guilty.

"Who are you to interfere in this mom? How could you do this like nothing happened, because of your words Blake hated Rachel. They didn't even see or no contact for almost 3 years." I said to my mom this time I was no longer angry only disappointed.

"Listen, I'm your mother as well as the grandmother of Blake. I just said things to Blake because I thought Rachel would hold onto Blake and would change you or threaten you with Blake. She is not qualified to be your wife." My mother looked at me as if I have no idea what I'm talking about "You and Natalie was seeing each other. Blake and Natalie also liked Each other, he even called her super mom. I only told Blake some lies to separate them, so that Blake would get away from Rachel a bit. And at the time you and Rachel also had fights and problems." As she says she sneered.

I was shocked beyond what I thought. I never thought mom would behave this cheap. She says she did it for me. But, she did this to separate Blake and Rachel. I know she always hated Rachel but never would I have thought she would do this.

"Mom, this is my personal life and even as my mother you have no right to do this or manipulate Blake. All the lies you have told don't you even feel ashamed of yourself and what you did is unforgivable." I shouted this time with my voice as the whole mansion could hear this. This time I was not angered but raged.

My mom laughs at me as she spoke with ridicule " I should feel ashamed of myself and what I did was unforgivable. Do you have the right to say this Chris?" She mocks me as she says " You cheated on your wife by seeing your ex-lover by sleeping with her. You cheated on her when you had a child and wife at home when they were waiting for you said only lies saying you were in a meeting or busy."

"Besides, you're the one who asked for full custody of your son. I didn't tell you to get full custody. So, you are the one who separated mother and son. What I did was only tell Blake some lies. But, what you did is unforgivable." She says with full of rage.

I can't talk back this time as I don't know what to say. She was right whatever I did was much worse than what she did.

"Chris, from what I have heard your mom said some lies and maybe manipulated little Blake but she didn't separate Blake and his mom. Remember, you are the one who asked for a divorce. It's your decision it was not us. But, what your mother did is unforgivable and she should feel ashamed of herself. And what you did is worst than all your mom did. As my dad interfered and said this.

"But, dad..." as I was looking at my dad frozen not knowing what to say next.

"You brought this yourself son. I'm disappointed in you. Now leave I will need to talk with your mother. Now that you know what your mom did as well as talking about this will not get you what you want. It happened long back." As my dad told me to leave then only I reacted.

"I will leave dad." As looked at my mother and asked " Mom, since when did you and Natalie plan all this." I know my mother would only lie to Blake for others if that person was Natalie.

"We didn't plan anything, we only said some lies to Blake and it was to get the custody rights.  And I only warned her. For real Chris don't shift the blame into us." My mom said as she frowned.

"What you warned Rachel? When?" I looked at her confused I don't know about this.

"Oh, she didn't tell you this. Well, that's a surprise I thought she would complain to me." She looked surprised.

"From, now on I don't want you near my son or me. I had in of what you did." What that, I looked at my mom and dad. Then left for the pub to get me a drink.

There are lots of things that happened behind my back and I don't know anything.

Chris POV:

Vintage pub, New York City.

VVIP private room

11:00 pm

I want someone to tell me all this. But, no one is there I want to share my feelings.

I can't talk to my friends about what will they think.

I can't talk to my sister or my parents.

I can't even share this with my wife as she played a major role in it.

Damn! I have no one now. My sister was right I will regret my decision. Now, I have no one to talk to.

What did I do wrong? I know I cheated and I broke Rachel but I only wanted to be with someone who I love.

I still love Rachel till now. But, Natalie was my first love and everything when she was back and I was happy I thought it was the right thing to do. I thought I will be happy and love Natalie more than Rachel. But, now is it love? Why am I drinking myself with no one?

I have my parents, sister, wife and a son.

But, why am I lonely.
