Chapter 21: Chapter Twenty

GUN'S POV

It has a couple been days since the last I saw Off. We have been busy with a lot of things going on with our lives. I haven't seen Off even with the studio meeting we had, he skipped or he often just listens via call.

"You need to give this to Off" Tay told me and handed me a paper.

We are currently at the studio, there are papers he needs to sign. I do not know why Tay gave it to me, do I look like I'm gonna meet him or something?

"I'm not meeting him, we have only been messaging lately" I told Tay handing him the papers back.

"You text him and meet up with him, I know you want to" Tay whispered to me.

New still doesn't have a clue about it and it's actually surprising Tay hasn't told him yet.

"What are you both whispering about?" New asked when he caught Tay whispering to me.

"Huh?" I defensively said and Tay was sort of panicking as well.

"I was just asking Gun something?" Tay answered not being able to convince New because he looked at us that he knew something was completely up.

"Tay was asking if where he could take you to dinner, sorry to spoil the surprise" I said giving Tay an apologetic look because now he has to take New to dinner.

I was hiding my laugh when New got excited with the dinner they were gonna have, Tay will get back at me for sure. Since I am almost done with everything I need to do here, I took the folder with the documents for Off.

"Maybe I'll see him" I told Tay putting my stuff inside my bag.

"More like you'll find a way to see him" Tay teased me as he was looking for some restaurants where he can bring New.

"Shut up or I'll get you into more trouble with New" I told him.

I left after a while and decided to head home, I don't feel like going back to my coffee shop since I've spent most of my time there everyday.

I'm currently on shooting

Here's the location...

Did he just asked me to go to his shooting? I debated with myself for a few good minutes. I just got home but it's also just four in the afternoon, I searched up the location he gave me... It was quite far from the center of Bangkok but I have a car anyway... Should I go... should I not...

I was thinking for a few minutes until I decided to head out. I'm gonna go visit Off on his shooting, we're good friends anyway. I took the envelope with me and started driving. I decided to buy some food for him, I know he already has food sponsors but at least there's something else I could bring for him.

I arrived at his shooting location a little after five in the afternoon, there were security everywhere and there were also a bunch of fans holding out banners and tarpaulins for the artists on sets. It was kind of wild when they spotted an artist walking past them. For sure security won't let me in easily, I took out my phone and decided to chat Off.

Off, I'm here at the location.

How am I gonna give you the file?

You came?

Wait a minute.

I waited inside my car until fans started screaming, Off walked out of the tent designated for artists. I quickly turned off my car engine and grabbed everything I needed, what was Off thinking? Of course his fans would go crazy!

I stepped out of the car and he signaled for me to come, it was kind of a struggle to go through the crowd but I managed to go through them. Some fans knew me and were also gushing about me.

"That's Gun, right?" A fan asked another.

"Yeah, are they a thing? He visited Off omg, let's take pictures" Another said.

I was fully aware that cameras were flashing around us. When I got inside the shooting premises, Off started giggling.

"What are you laughing at?" I asked him.

"You made it all the way here to give me files?" He asked.

"I got Tay into some sort of trouble with New so I decided to just go and I was too lazy to do work, I wanna see you work as well" I said to him.

"Come inside the tent, it's hot outside" He told me leading the way.

He introduced me to his staff and other people around. They were all so friendly and nice. I sat on the mini sofa that was beside the vanity prepared for Off. He was reading some sort of script...

"Why are you so quiet?" He asked me.

"I don't wanna disturb you" I said.

"Hey P'Off---- P'Gun?" Chimon said as he walked in.

"You're here?" I asked

"You're here too? I'm working, this is my project" Chimon said laughing and sat beside me.

"Keep Gun entertained, I'll go get some food" Off said

"I brought sushi bake" I said handing him the paper bag.

"Okay then, let me get some other snacks and drinks" Off said and headed out.

"What are you doing here?" Chimon asked me.

"I needed to give Off some documents for the studio" I responded.

"Documents too important for you to drive all the way here?" Chimon asked with the hint of tease in his voice.

"Y-yes" I lied.

"Oh come on, If it's too important you wouldn't be seating around here" He told me again.

"It's important okay?" I said taking out the food from the paper bag when Off walked back in the tent.

It was kind of quiet, instead of just me and Off, we shared the food with Chimon.

"Ah, there you are, oh... you're Gun right?" A man who walked inside the tent said.

"Ahhh... Gun this is P'Aof the director, Phi, this is Gun, my friend" Off said introducing me to him.

I shook his hands and smiled at him.

"I can see that chemistry the fans sees in the both of you" He casually said which caught me off guard, I was blushing about the fact and Chimon was laughing beside me.

"Phi, don't make them shy around each other" Chimon said and continued laughing.

"Oh, I'm just stating facts, by the way, I was looking for Chimon, come on, we need to practice some scenes" He said taking Chimon like a child.

We finished the food I brought and the drinks that Off got, he said that the drinks and snacks were sponsored by the fans and he even took photos with me to thank the fans and me as well for keeping him well-fed lol this man.

"This files are for your part in the studio." I handed him the envelope that he needed.

"Thanks Gun" He said and placed the envelope inside his bag I guess?

I got to meet some of his co-stars and they were all so nice, I decided to go when it was around seven o'clock already, the people from their set has already fed me enough, I said my goodbyes and also looked out for Chimon, I told him to drive safely when he decides to go home but I don't even know if he was listening because he has been busy playing with that kid named Nanon.

The next day I decided to stay at home again, I don't know what has gotten to me lately but I was too lazy for stuff, but I kept working at home of course, I just didn't have the energy to actually go to places and fix myself but that's okay. I have my own way of productivity.

A little after lunch I slumbered into a nap until I woke up with dozens of messages from my employees and my team from the coffee shop. I was still disoriented when I tried opening messages, there are also a bunch from my friends, even Off. What is going on?

Coffee Shop Manager

Khun Gun, something came up. Khun Oab came very drunk and made a scene in the coffee shop. He threatened all the customers earlier and he even broke one of the glass tables and also made a mess. It was taken care of but the people already posted about it. Also, he posted something on twitter, you might want to look at that.

I was mad when I finished reading the message from my manager. Ugh. I immediately took a bath and I stormed out of the room. Pim was in the living room with grandma holding up her iPad, I know they already know what's going on.

"Where are you going?" Grandma asked me.

"I'll visit the shop, fix some stuff that needs to be fixed." I said.

"You take care of yourself" Grandma said.

I drove all the way to my coffee shop and there were a few media people who are already waiting for some time they can interview me. It really made a mess in social media I guess?

"Gun! What can you say about this incident?" A reporter asked when I got off my car.

"I am still currently knowing all the details about this." I briefly said.

"Do you know Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang?" Another asked

"I know him, this might be a misunderstanding" I said and walked inside the coffee shop.

I was shocked to see my parents in the coffee shop. I saw dad talking to some authorities. He must've heard the news already. I sighed and placed my bag down, seeing the damaged stuff. The shop was immediately closed when Oab made the mess.

"Gun, where have you been?" Mom asked looking so worried.

"Are you okay? Why weren't you answering?" Dad asked as well.

"I was at home, I fell asleep, I'm sorry" I said.

"I talked to the police, I've asked my security team to add up some security in this place as well. We banned Oab from coming back but I also brought my lawyer in case you want to file a case against Oab" My dad said.

I looked behind him and saw my worried staff.

"I'm gonna need to talk to Oab personally" I said.

I got a message from Tay that he and Off are outside so I immediately went to them and asked the security to let them in.

"He said he wants to talk with Oab" My dad told Tay and Off when they were catching up on what happened while I was talking to my staff.

"What?! Gun, no." Tay immediately said.

"That's what I exactly told him, but he wanted to go his way." Dad said.

"I need to talk to him first, I'm pretty sure he has something to tell me or to be mad about." I told them.

"Let him" Off suddenly said.

We all looked at Off, I was trying to see if he was serious or what and the rest looked at him like he was going crazy for telling them to let me. This is crazy.

"Let him talk to Oab. Me, Tay, New and Arm could come with him." He said.

"I'll send security details after you." Dad said finally agreeing when he saw the sense in Off's statement.

We all settled it, Dad said he'd handle everything in the coffee shop and just send everybody home for now. The press outside are still waiting so the security team of Dad gathered them so I could give my statement while Off and Tay wait in their car. New and Arm are also already on their way.

"Everybody please settle down, Gun will clarify everything now." My dad announced as the small crowd gathered quietly.

"Good Evening to everyone, I'm pretty sure all of you are aware about the scene that happened in my coffee shop. I wanted to clarify things. First, nobody was hurt in the incident stated, not a staff or customer was affected physically by the incident. I know Oabnithi Wiwattanawarang, we used to be close friends back then and I will do my best and try to communicate to him before we settle legal actions that has to be done. We will resume operations of the cafe tomorrow afternoon and we will also keep everyone updated via our social media accounts. Thank you." I said.

There were more questions being raised but I immediately went to my car. I called Tay whose car was beside mine...

"Hello? Tay where is New and Arm?" I asked getting impatient because we're running out of time.

"They are near, the took the motorcycles, Off said he's going to your car now" He said over the line.

I unlocked the car and Off was running towards the shotgun seat because there are still a few press who didn't leave.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Off asked me when he was already settled beside me.

"Yeah, why did you leave Tay at your car? He doesn't know how to drive" I told him worrying about his car more so I could hide the fear that was slowly creeping in me.

"New will drive my car. I'll stay here with you." He said

"I honestly don't know why he would do that" I said and looked at my steering wheel.

"Have you settled things with him?" Off said

"I have. I made it clear to him that I was sorry and that was the end of us." I said and sighed in frustration.

I felt Off held my shoulder and I looked over to him.

"Where are we gonna find him?" He asked me.

"We're going to his coffee shop." I answered.

I checked my social media while waiting for New and Arm to arrive, it really became trending.

"I'm sorry for you fans Off, some of them were there to see that." I said again.

"That's gonna be alright, we're all just worried about you as well." He said

"Wait, what is this your fan is saying, you came from an all nighter shoot?" I said shocked about that information I just read.

"It's fine Gun." He said and smiled at me.

"No. You take care of yourself too. I have a lot already looking out for me." I told him.

"It's fine I said. I'll rest once all of this is over. I wouldn't be able to sleep as well knowing my friend is in danger. Stop arguing, there goes New and Arm" He said pointing to New and Arm who just arrived and quickly got into Off's car.

We drove all the way to Oab's coffee shop. It was close but the familiar car was there and there was a light inside meaning Oab could possibly be here. The security team went inside before all of us, they wanted to make sure we're going in unharmed.

"WHO ARE YOU" I heard Oab yelled from a corner of his coffee shop.

"We just wanted to talk to you" One of the security personnel said.

"I will only talk to Gun" Oab finally turning on some lights showed up. He looks like a mess. I couldn't tell if he's drunk or what.

"I'll talk to him." I said walking inside the coffee shop but Off immediately grabbed my hand.

"No, Gun" He said.

"I'll talk to him, you can watch through the glass doors. Security will stay inside with me." I said

It took a few minutes when he finally let go of me. I assured all of my friends that I will be alright. I stepped inside the coffee shop and the security gave us some space but they are cautious with what Oab might do next.

"What happened?" I asked him trying to keep the anger to myself.

"I made a mess, can't you see?" He said, I smell the alcohol from him. He was soaked in alcohol, I can tell he has been drinking for a while now.

"Oab, what do you have against me huh? Is this a payback for the things that happened in the past?" I asked.

"YES! Yes it is!" He said as tears were flooding his eyes.

"What the fuck Oab? That was so low. What happened to you huh?" I asked again not trying to hide the frustration anymore.

"You happened Gun. You fucking happened. You destroyed me, You disappeared and I was doing so well because I thought I've moved on from the person who was once everything for me. But then there you are again, rubbing it in my face that I'm just a part of your past. You came back because of Off right?! You broke up with me back then because of him too. I didn't become a doctor Gun. Everthing went downhill for me when you left, when you broke things off between us, and now my coffee shop is going down because you are better at it AGAIN" He said which got me questioning, why is it my fault?

"It is my fault? I told you I'm sorry for the shitty things I've done. I broke up with you because I was choosing me. I did everything for myself back then, even now, a lawyer could be dealing with you right now, but I'm doing this for me again. It wasn't my fault that you didn't become what you wanted to be Oab, I was a factor in your life not the one controlling it. The competition with the coffee shop is part of a business, there are hundreds of coffee shop opening around you. Don't make it all about me. Stop making messes like these and dragging people in it like my customers and Off. Get your life together, the next time this happens, it's gonna be a lawsuit against you." I said and left him there.

I'm pretty sure he was drunk when he made the scene and he still is as of now but he needs to let the reality sink in. I was kind of burdened by the thought that I did this to him, but wouldn't it hurt him more if I kept hurting him in the relationship before?

I walked out and Off and Tay were talking, New and Arm are busy playing a game on their phones.

"You didn't have to come all the way here, I could just update you, you're tired man." Tay told Off

"Anything for Gun." He said and patted Tay's shoulder and he turned around.

"Everything is fine now. I'm filing a restraining order against him."  I told them.

"Wanna grab dinner? I can get delivery to my condo" Off offered.

"Sure!" Arm immediately said when he heard that.

"Free food, I'm in" New said which made us all laugh
