Chapter 13: Chapter Twelve

GUN'S POV

I woke up the next day hugging someone, I got pretty drunk last night, I couldn't even remember everything clearly but I remember Tay confessing the thing about him and New... or was that a dream?

I felt my pillow moved and that shocked me so I decided to open my eyes and to my surprise it was Off Jumpol... I immediately stood up and backed away from Off. I was ashamed that I was cuddling him...

I went to the kitchen and immediately saw Tay already preparing the breakfast he ordered for them, it was a feast like Tay ordered more than what we will be needing.

"Goodmorning Sunshine" Tay told me as I approached him near the kitchen counter...

"Do you have some coffee? My head hurts" I asked him

"Here... how's your human pillow?" Tay asked me as he was pouring some coffee in a cup

"You didn't even woke me up? You let me sleep there and cuddle him?!" I said and sipped on my coffee

"Gun, I was pretty wasted too, I didn't even gave Arm a blanket, look at the man, he made all the pillows as his blanket..." Tay said laughing

"You could've pulled me to your bed?? Best Friend rescue? Hello?" I said taking another sip of my coffee trying to remember how much more embarrassment I did last night

"You were uncontrollable last night, you were dancing and all until you just fell silent and we saw you sleeping already" Tay said

I was frustrated with the headache that I got from drinking too much that is why I decided to not argue with Tay anymore and just took my second cup of coffee and decided to munch on the feast that was prepared on the table.

"Good morning" Arm greeted us when he finally woke up. He sat beside me and also started feasting on the food and enjoyed his coffee.

Apart from all of us, Arm was the one who handles hang-over best. He just have to deal with the headache and when it's gone he will be good already.

We were talking about Arm's clothing line and how we'd come to visit at his shop and pick up some pieces for ourselves, he said that he's gonna have custom hoodies and tops soon so we're reserving ours now.

"What are ya'll reserving?" Off asked when he finally woke up

I felt my cheeks burning when I heard him, I wasn't facing him so I decided to continue not to look around. He was already grabbing himself some coffee, when he sat down in front of me he gave me a smile and I nodded in return and stuffed myself with food so that I'd look like I was busy.

I was avoiding every eye contact with Off that I could possibly have. I was even playing with the 6th hash brown on my plate

"Gun, how many have you eaten?" Tay asked laughing at my plate

"six... I guess?" I said

"You still are that hash brown monster" We all looked at Off when he said that

"I remember one time, he was so mad during a filming day for our project, he was stress eating hash browns" Off said and sipped on his coffee

I was more shy when Tay gave me that teasing look again...

"You two seems close huh?" Arm asked like he get what Tay was doing

"We were partners, we got to spend time together, well... he mostly gave me a hell of a time with the project haha" Off said

I got more shy with what he said, and I continued to pretend that I was busy when I was busy scrolling on my phone.

"Hey, I'm gonna go shower" I said when I was running out of ways to avoid Off.

I immediately made my way to the bathroom with my stuff. I took my time in the shower, soaking my head and face with the cold water because it is clearly what I need right now... What have I been doing?!

I finished showering and headed out, they all followed showering after another and while Off is taking a shower I decided to leave already.

"Tay, I gotta go, I have some things to check on my cafe" I said to him

I left immediately even Tay was confused when I left in a hurry. I decided to go home and answer all the emails and such. I was also monitoring the coffee shop back in New York and it seems to be doing well.

Days passed and I was busy since the coffee shop is nearly complete with its renovation, the studio is also already coming together, we didn't expected it to be that fast since we gave so much demands and all but I guess that's what we get from the best team that we hired, it was kind of worth the cost too tho.

I got a message from Tay telling me we need to go to the studio tomorrow so that we could pick out the posters to be hanged on the studio. They also wanted to meet to talk about the promotion video of our studio. I was kind of avoiding these meetings because I really am shy with the last time I got drunk with Off.. maybe I do have a crush on him? Lol am I a kid? This feelings and all are very inconvenient.

"Wow you're not the usual early Gun Atthaphan, where have you been?" Tay asked

"I had to check on my coffee shop" I lied. I was already here earlier but I spent so much time on the parking lot fighting the anxious thoughts that I had.

"We're VIP guests on the opening" New said excitedly

"Of course, I'll send out the invites when I already have a final date for the opening" I said

We patiently waited for Off because he said he'll be a little late because he has some matters to attend to. He came 20 minutes after the agreed time of meeting but it was fine since it wasn't that long. He gave us all small smiles, he forgot how I made him a bolster pillow I guess?

"Sorry I had some meeting with the industry, upcoming show again hehe" He said and pulled a chair in front of me

He's going back to becoming an artist? I was looking at him and he seemed to be that same Off Jumpol from college, the one that I wasn't close with... maybe he's just really busy and stressed.I shrugged the thought away and continued listening to New as he discussed the meeting details.

"So Tay list it down, we're gonna have to pick our top 3 favorite movies for the posters on the lobby" New said

They all gave their favorite movies and when it was my turn...

"Gun movies" Off said when I wasn't responding because I was thinking.

I didn't mind Off and faced Tay and New...

"The Fault in Our Stars, 50 First Dates and 10 Things I hate About You" I said to them

I saw Off nodding and like approving to my movie choices...

"I thought you were gonna say Harry Potter, I remember binge watching that one" Off said which made Tay give us that teasing looks again.

"Wow movie dates huh?" New teased us as well

"They said top 3, the harry potter movies has 8 films in total" I told him

"But you binged watch together?" Tay asked

"Yeah, remember that time you saw us at the grocery?" Off said and stood up to look around the studio

"So you two?" Tay asked me when New followed Off

"What?!" I asked

"You are being defensive, I was just wondering, you seemed too close already" Tay told me

"Shut up" I said

"Don't shut me up, I'm your best friend, I know you" He said and teased me more.

We followed Off and New to check on the construction and we all decided to go since Tay and New are gonna have their date they even teased me and Off about having our own date today.

"Hey Gun, can we talk?" Off said when we're already at the parking lot.

"About what?" I asked him not turning around and trying to open my car

"I have some... concerns" He said

"Get in" I said as I managed to finally open my car

"W-what?" He asked still standing by my car

"Get inside the car, let's talk inside, it's hot" I said and turned on the engine so that we'll have the aircon running

Off then went to the shotgun seat and it was a few minutes of silence before we actually started talking.

"What are your concerns?" I asked

"Did I do something wrong? You've been avoiding me since the sleepover at Tay" He said

"I was bothered because we were so close before that sleepover then the next day it's like you don't even know me, I was about to ask you if you wanna have ice cream after the sleepover but after I showered you were gone" he said

I was very shy and I was hoping a black hole will eat me as he said those to me...

"I-I was... shy" I said looking away

"About what?" He asked

"N-nothing" I said

"About making me a bolster pillow all night?" He asked which made me blush. Ugh.

"Gun, come on, you avoided me because of that?" Off started laughing

"Hey! Stop laughing, I got really shy because... we're not that close, and I'm embarrassing when I'm drunk" I said

"You are so cute" Off said which caught my attention and I looked over him he was smiling at me already.

"Don't ever do that again okay? It's totally fine with me, we're close Gun" He said

I smiled at what he said and we did a little more catching up.

"Wanna have dinner?" he said

"Yeah sure" I said completely forgetting about everything else that I have to do

We drove separately to this restaurant that Off loves. He said he wanted me to try their food and I agreed.

"So you're going back to acting?" I asked hoping it wasn't too personal for him

"Yeah..." His mood shifted which got me more curious

"Is there something wrong?" I asked

"I didn't want to anymore Gun, the fame is hard to handle sometimes, but I need to, for my mom" He said

"I'm sure she's so proud of you" I said trying to cheer him up

"Yeah..." He said and gave me a small smile

"Stop sulking, I'll be your number one fan! Plus, I'm the crybaby in this friendship" I said

"You'd make a fans club for me?" He asked and laughed

"You want me to?" I asked teasing him

"Thank you Gun, don't ever leave me again" He said whispering the last words but I heard it...
