Chapter 10: Chapter Nine

GUN'S POV

It's been days since that night I opened up to Off everything... he also said I could hang out at his condo if I don't feel like staying at home. Tay also comes with us often... well, I got really busy with all the cafe stuff I was preparing, and they pretty much were just playing all day.

"Off why did you stopped showbiz? You were so famous" I asked him when I took a little break from the work stuff I was doing. It's just me and him here today because Tay has other work to do.

"The reason why I wanted to do it left me... but let's save that story for another time" He said.

I gave him a small smile. He also has problems and demons to deal with. We all do, and we handle it differently, I guess... or I just really cry a lot.

Off connected his phone to the bluetooth speaker, I often don't like him playing songs because he likes the pop ones that are loud and all...

You with the sad eyes

Don't be discouraged, oh I realize

It's hard to take courage

I was shocked when Off started singing... I never heard him sing before but it was soulful, he even chose to sing along with the version of the trolls movie, I was watching him sing...

Show me a smile then

Don't be unhappy

He looked at me as he sang those lines while he fidgeted with his phone. I gave him a small smile. I feel so at home with him, it's like everything in my life just got better... After he finished singing it suddenly switched to a party song.

"Do you often party Off?" I asked him

"No, I rarely do, I don't want to go out often, that is why I have everything here" He told me

"Do you... by any chance know a vacancy in this building?" I asked him

His condo is in the center of the city, it is easily accessible to any mode of transportation and it has great access to markets, malls and such. I won't have trouble living here...

"I think there are vacancies, you're planning to move?" He asked.

"Yeah I was thinking of moving so that I wouldn't feel like a lot more burden to grandma, plus, a reason for my sister to stop asking me when I'd have dinner with her and the parents" I told him.

"Why not go to the dinner? Settle it once and for all, if it doesn't go well then I'll be waiting for you outside. I gotchu" He said

"Why are you so nice to me? Last time I remembered I was pushing you away and giving you all the reason to hate me. You almost started over with the project because of me." I told him.

"You had your reasons, at some point I thought... such a bitch, but then, we're all just fighting battles we don't say aloud" He said which made me smile.

If only everyone is willing to understand how we struggle differently like Off...

"I want to have a tattoo" I told Off

It was a random thought but I suddenly wanted a tattoo, I found a great idea as I was scrolling through my phone.

"You wanna be a thug all of a sudden, your decisions are scary" He told me and laughed.

"Look at this quote that says dum spiro spero" I said showing him the photo that I found on pinterest

"Is that a spell from Harry Potter?" he asked after seeing the photo

I face palmed after that, Off will always be Off. I guess haha

"Why not put alohomora or leviosA there?" He said

I looked at him intently and he knows I was about to correct him and he started laguhing

"It's leviOsa not leviosA!" I said and hit him with a pillow

"What's your favorite Harry Potter movie?" He suddenly asked me and the rain started pouring outside.

"Cursed Child" I said jokingly to get back at him

"Guuuun" He said as I ran towards the refrigerator to get some snacks

I didn't noticed that he followed me until he cornered me there...

"Off what are you doing?" I asked him, he was too close, I could feel him breathing

"You're playful huh?" He said and gave me a smirk

We stood there silently for a few more minutes until I decided to push him away and he started laughing, it was raining hard outside so I decided to watch the rain from the window.

"You wanna join me binge watch Harry Potter? Stay over for tonight" He said when he sat down on the sofa and turned the TV on.

"I don't have clothes Off" I responded

"So you would stay if you have?" He said with hope in his eyes

I don't know what's gotten into him, but he sure is crazy haha

"I have spare clothes there, even some from sponsors I haven't used. You can use them" He told me still trying to push through with his offer

"I've already binged watch harry potter Off" I told him

"With who?" he asked as he started playing the first movie

"Oab..." I said

"was it fun?" He asked

"Sort of, he slept right when I started, and when he woke up he wasn't really interested so he just really existed beside me as I watched" I said remembering that night.

I was so excited to have the whole movie collection and the fact that Oab agreed, I thought he was really interested but it turns out he was just doing it as well for me. He didn't wanna say no to me that time, but I hoped he did because it made watching my childhood favorite disappointing because of what he did.

"Well then... let's watch with these?" He pulled up some hogwarts robes

"OMG you have the robes!" I said excitedly as I grabbed one.

"Let's make snacks and dinner first so we won't go through the hassle of making them later" He said and paused the movie

There was a grocery just at the ground floor of his condo so we decided to get some ingredients, I managed to get all ingredients for a rice crispy snack while Off grabbed every chips and junk food he came across.

"What are we having for dinner?" I asked him while we were walking around the grocery.

"There's a fried chicken place at the other side of this grocery maybe we could just buy a bunch of chicken and sides" He said

Since we don't have any plans of cooking, I decided to just order some food for delivery as well... I saw packs of hot chocolate and since it was raining and the robes are comfy I decided to grab some too, I just don't know if Off likes them but looking at our cart, there was a lot of chocolates... maybe he likes sweets.

"What are you both doing now? Grocery date?" Tay said as he suddenly appeared in front of us

"What no" "Yes" Me and Off said at the same time and I looked over him confused and he was laughing so hard

"We're just picking some stuff up, gonna watch harry potter" Off said when he managed to get over his laughing spree

Tay gave me a teasing look which I couldn't figure out what he means but I just rolled my eyes at him in return.

"Enjoy the movie" Tay said when he decided to leave us.

Me and Off went back to the condo and prepared everything, like we made our own fortress in the living room and we don't really plan to get up anytime until we finish watching all eight movies.

I live for days like this... days that gives me hope, days that makes everything a lot more bearable and I looked at the man beside me, he makes me happy.
