Loving The Bad Boy
Chapter 9- Partying on a Tuesday night? Oh what fun.
-Aiden-
I cut her hair and now she's gonna kill me. I didn't mean to do it. I just saw the pair of scissors on the table and thought 'Hey, why not tease her a bit?' But the nerd whipped around so fast that my hand slipped and the end of her hair was cut. I stare at her in shock as she does to me, until it morphed into anger, and that's my cue to get out of there. So I did the smartest and stupidest thing, I ran. Me, Aiden Black, the bad boy ran away from Emma Miller, the nerd. What has the world come to? But in my defense you should have saw her face, if looks could kill I would be six feet under already.
I sprinted down the stairs and darted into the kitchen. This is a big house she won't find me. "Aiden! Where the hell are you!?" I heard her yell from upstairs. Damn, she's getting closer. I tried to stay quiet as possible and tip toed to the door that leads to the backyard. I figured if I leave her in the house alone while she tries to hunt me down, that she'll eventually get tired and give it a rest. I was about to reach for the knob until I heard the voice I dreaded to hear.
"Where do you think you're going?" Emma said in a low menacing voice. I froze at the sound of her voice. How did she get here so fast? I turned around to see Emma glowering at me as she moved closer, I moved back out of response.
"I-I wasn't going anyw-where" I said trying to stay calm, but it was failing miserably as I look at Emma. "I d-didn't mean to cut your hair, I was j-just playing around" Damn my stammering.
"You cut my freaking hair Aiden!" She yelled at me. I wanted to flinch at her tone but I knew better.
"I know! I'm sorry" I said a bit too fast. She stared at me for a couple of seconds and I did the same watching her every move. Even when she's angry, she's still looks beautiful. With her full lips parted trying to control her breathing and her bright green eyes narrowed at me and pieces of her brown hair falling out of her ponytail to frame her round face. Aiden shut the hell up! She wants to kill you! I snapped out my thoughts and continue to stare at her until she burst out laughing. Laughing. All I could do was stare at her in bewilderment. What the hell is she laughing about?
"H-holy crap, your face was priceless!" She said trying to control her laughter, I narrowed my eyes at her glaring till she ceased.
"Are you done laughing?" She nodded still trying to catch her breath. "So you're not mad?" I asked cautiously.
"I was at first, but when I saw the fear on your face, that was the best revenge I could have ever got on you" she stated.
"I wasn't scared of you" I said defensively. She gave me 'your-kidding-right?' look and I just glared at her. No way in hell I was scared of her. Okay maybe a little, but I'm not gonna admit that to her.
"Alright, I think it's time for me to go home" She said looking at the clock in the kitchen. I felt a bit disappointed when she said that, but I guess that I do have to get her home now.
"Okay get your things from my room and meet me outside" She nodded and headed back upstairs. I went outside to wait for her. Car or bike? I thought. Car, I don't want to scare her with the bike again. I walked down the path to the garage to get the car. Why do I feel like I forgot something? I parked the car in front of the house and leaned against it waiting for Emma. What did I forget?
Emma came walking outside looking a bit pale. "Something wrong? You look a bit pale." I asked concerned. Why am I concerned?
"Y-Yeah I'm fine" She said nervously, I eyed her suspiciously but let it go. "So um, no bike this time?" She questioned.
"Yeah I thought it would be better to take you home in car than on the bike. I don't want your parent's to think that I'm a bad influence" I said sending a wink in her direction. She blushed and rolled her eyes at me as we made our way to her house.
After a few minutes of driving, I pulled up in front of her house. "How did you know how to get to my house without asking me for directions?"She asked me.
"I paid attention when my parents and I came over for dinner the other day." I said smirking directing a wink at her. She rolled her eyes but still smiled. We sat there in comfortable silence for a minute or two until she broke it.
"Thanks for driving me home Aiden, I actually had funny with you even though you can be annoying." I smirked. "And for giving me a haircut." She grinned. I rolled my eyes as my cheeks turn a bit pink.
"I was not scared of you sweetheart" I said.
"Whatever you say Mr. Bad Boy, well I better get going. I had fun." She said offering a smile. Mr. Bad Boy, I like the sound of that. Maybe Mr. Bad Ass, I like that.
"Me too" I said smiling.
"Bye Aiden, See you tomorrow" She said.
"Bye sweetheart" I said still smiling. I waited till she walked to her door and wave goodbye before I sped off leaving her behind.
When I got home I saw that my parents' cars were parked outside. Surprise surprise ,look whose home. I rolled my eyes at the thought and walked into the house and straight into the kitchen to see our chef preparing dinner.
"Hey Martha" I said giving her a kiss on her cheek and at on a stool. Martha, our chef is a fifty something year old lady who is the sweetest person in the world and can make the most mouth watering food.
"Hello sweetie, how are you?" Martha said giving me a warm smile.
I grinned back, "I'm fine, my parents are home, I see" I said in a slight monotone voice. Martha gave me a warning glare.
"Aiden behave yourself, they're your parents and you know they love you. They're just busy." I grimace at her words. Busy my ass. I got up and walked out of the kitchen. "Aiden!" Martha called "Aren't you going to eat dinner?"
"No I'm not hungry, I'll be up in my room." I said calling out as I walk up the stairs. I walked into my room and plopped down on my bed as I stare up at the ceiling the only thought that was running through my head was Emma. Why do I feel like this? I shouldn't be thinking about her. I glance out of the corner of my eye and to see something on my nightstand. I sat up and picked up the picture frame that was face down. I look down at the picture to see a fifteen year old girl and boy smiling back at me.
Her.
She ruined me inside and out. With boiling rage inside of me I threw the picture frame against the wall and watch the pieces of the frame fall to the ground. I'll never forget what she did.

"Dude where were you yesterday?" Matt asked as I walked over to him and Derek who were leaning against the lockers. Man I just walked in and I'm already being questioned.
I shrugged my shoulders, "I had things to do." By things I meant the project with Emma but they don't need to know that.
"I had to help do that stupid project for Matthew's yesterday." Matt said. "That Amy chick is so damn stubborn and annoying."
"Maybe if you just help and just not sit on your lazy ass, then maybe she will stop being stubborn and annoying" Derek said. I chuckled at his words, Matt is lazy, one time the guy called his little sister from her room just to change the channel on the TV and the remote was right next him, Lazy? I think so.
"Hey baby." I heard a high pitched voice called, I turned around to see Ashley Carter making her way to me. Ashley and I have a special kind of relationship, basically whenever I need her she's there for me and whenever she needs me I'm there for her and I'm not getting into details.
"Hi Ashley." I said smirking at her causing her to blush slightly; she leaned down and kissed me fully on the lips. I kissed her back, but it didn't feel right. It felt like I shouldn't be kissing her but I ignored the feeling. I felt her hand move from my chest down to the rest of my upper body, but instead of her touch feeling warm, it felt cold and wrong. I pushed her away gently and she smiled at me and I forced a smirk onto my face. What the hell is going on with me?
I look past her and caught sight of brown hair bouncing up and down moving in other direction. Emma. A smile found its way to my lips as I walk past Ashley to Emma. I saw that her friend Amy had left her so I decided to lean against the locker next her open one so she can't see me. When she closed her locker and caught sight of me I thought she was gonna fly cause of how high she jumped into the air.
"Don't scare me like that!" She hissed at me.
"Sorry sweetheart, I didn't mean to scare you." I said smiling sheepishly. "I just came to say hi."
"Well Hi Aiden" She said smiling at me.
"Hey Emma" I said smiling back at her. Now why am I acting like this? She looked shocked as I saw a blush creep onto her cheek.
"I see I still affect you sweetheart." I said smirking at her and moved closer.
She scoffed. "You have no affected on me what so ever" I could see she was trying to cover it up.
"Oh really?" I said moving closer to her that her back hit the lockers. I looked down and saw her face flushed. I smirk in satisfaction and backed away.
"I'll see you later, sweetheart." I said as I send a wink at her walking away not waiting for a responses. Emma, what the hell are you doing to me?

Despite what everyone thinks of me, I actually do go to class. Maybe not all the time, but still I go and I get the grades. Throughout the day I haven't caught sight of Emma and come to think of it I haven't seen Derek either. Even in class when we were suppose to work on the project she wasn't there. Where is she?
The day ended and I was making my way to the parking lot until I saw that Derek and Emma were talking together smiling and laughing. Where they together all day? I felt a bubble of anger rise as the thought crossed my mind. Why the hell am I feeling like this? I heard my name being called from behind, pushing away the thought of Derek and Emma, I turned around to find Matt.
"Hey man" Matt said.
"What's up dude?" I replied.
"Jake Moore is throwing a party tonight, you up for it?" he asked.
"Jake Moore, the soccer player?" I questioned and he nodded his head smirking. I glance out of the corner of my eye to see Derek and Emma still talking. "Hell yeah man, I'm in." I said smirking back. This is what I need a party full of girls and drinks, anything to forget the nerd.

-Emma-
Derek and I stayed most of the day at the little café. We talked, getting to know each other better and laughed at different stories that we told, he really did help get my mind of Ashley's threat. Derek is such a sweet guy, I have no idea where the term of him being a bad boy came from, I didn't ask him, but I was curious at the thought. Amy texted me around lunch time asking where I was, of course I told her I was with Derek and she could not believe I actually skipped school and went out with him. By the time school was almost over Derek said that we should get going so he doesn't have to face the fury of Amy. I laugh at the thought, Derek Smith, a bad boy getting scolded by Amy, my best friend, now that would be a sight to see. We drove back to school and parked in the parking lot waiting for school to let out. Derek and I got out of the car and leaned against it.
"I had fun today." I said smiling at him. "Thanks for making me skip school and getting my mind off of what happened today."
He chuckled. "Not a problem Em." He said winking at me causing a blush to rise to my cheeks. Why am I reacting to him like this? "I had fun too, we should do it more often." He said smirking.
I giggled. "Yeah, skipping school to pig out on food at that café sounds like a plan." Before I could say anything else, I heard my name being called. I turned to see Amy coming towards us. Please don't hurt me. Don't hurt Derek, he's just a boy!
"Emma!" Amy called.
I turned to her to actually see her smiling. Yeah, smiling. Here I thought she was gonna be pissed off at me.
"Hey Amy" I said smiling cautiously. She could always go off any minute and when she does I'm sprinting out of there, Amy can be a bit too much at times.
"Hey Em, what's up?" she said grinning like an idiot. What is up with her?
"Uh, nothing much." I said suspiciously "Amy this is Derek and Derek this is Amy, my best friend." I said introducing them. They both exchange greetings and we all chatted a bit until Derek's phone buzzed from a text message. He looked down and smiled.
"You guys up for a party tonight?" He said smirking at us.
"A party on a Tuesday night?" I asked and he nodded.
"Yeah, Jake Moore the soccer player is having a party tonight, so you guys in?"
Before I could answer myself Amy spoke up. "Yeah we're in" she said smirking at me and turning her attention to Derek who was grinning at both of us.
"Perfect" He said still grinning.
Yeah Perfect.
Partying on a Tuesday night. Oh what fun.
