NEXT DAY-
It was the day of the wedding and the house was full of hustle bustle. Ishu wanted the wedding to take place in the backyard. He was in his room as the wedding was in the evening.
sameer was busy instructing the workers and samar was checking the food. Nina was in her room as she was praying for Alay and kabir's arrival. After checking the arrangements, sameer and samar were sitting in the living area.
Samar- bhai kya sach me yeh sahi kar rahe hai hum?
Nina- Ab kyu yeh soch rahe ho.
Sameer- mujhe toh laga tum kamre se nikalne hi nahi wali.
Nina- Dekhne aae thi ki kaise sukoon se baithe hai aap dono mere bachhon ki khushiyaan chhin ke.
Sameer- Dekho Nina mera dimaag mat kharab karo. Aaj khushi ka din hai. Warna achha nahi hoga.
Kabir- Kya karoge tum? Zara me bhi toh dekhu.
Nina- bhai
( dono shock me dekh rahe hai. Alay ka chehra toh murjha sa gaya hai)
Samar- Kabir ( I saw them both entering. Alay ran upstairs and bhai was about to follow him)
Kabir- Agar uske piche gaye toh jis reason se Nina ko dhamkaya hai woh sach kar dunga me. And you know me.
Samar- Kabir, bhai hai mere.
Kabir- Shut up.
Nina- bhai aaj shaadi hai.
Kabir- Jaanta hu. Ethan ne bataya hai mujhe.
Sameer- Mera beta hai woh Or me decide karunga ki woh kisse shaadi karega.
Kabir- ek baar Alay usse baat karle fir dekhenge.
IN ISHU'S BEDROOM-
Ishu- ( I was sitting on my bed and staring at the suit that was kept for me. Rajat has personally selected this. I am so nervous, is it just wedding jitters or..)
Alay- Ishu..
Ishu- Alay, tum yahan kya kar rahe ho? Kab aaye?
( he hugged me so tightly as if I would vanish away and it felt so good and safe.)
Alay-Â kyu kiya aisa apne? Kabse yeh sab chupa rahe the mujhse?
Ishu- Alay, dad wanted..
Alay- What about you?
( he didn't say anything.)
I love you ishu. I love you a lot. Don't marry him please.
Ishu- Pagal ho tum. Cousins hai hum. Dad is right we are brothers. We can't. Tumhe aisa nahi sochna chahiye. Once I am out of sight, toh yeh admiration khatam ho jayegi.
Alay- Kya kaha apne? Admiration?
( I saw his face and I couldn't recognize him. I chuckled bitterly)

Alay- ( I looked in his eyes and I knew he feel for me. I cupped his cheeks and kissed him but didn't move my lips. He closed his eyes and held my hand tightly. I moved back)
Pyaar toh apko bhi hai. Warna mujhe is tarah kareeb nahi aane dete.
Ishu- ( I moved back from him)
Alay stop this nonsense. This is wrong. I don't love you.
Alay- Do you love him? Ab chup kyu ho aap. Say it. DO YOU LOVE HIM?
Apki chuppi jawab de rahi hai ishu. Please stop this. Don't do this to us.
Ishu- ( I have to stop him)

Alay- Bohot.
Ishu- toh tum yeh shaadi hone doge. Koi tamasha nahi karoge. Tumhe meri kasam hai.
Alay- please ishu.
( I got on my knees) aa jao mere pass. I beg you
Ishu- Don't do this. Just go from here.
Alay- ( he turned his back on me)
you play so damn well. Aaj tod diya apne Alay ko.
Ishu- ( he went from there and I couldn't help but cry. Yeh sab kya ho raha hai)
IN THE LIVING AREA-
Kabir- Vani baby, go to your room.
Samar- Kabir, woh
Kabir- Shh, jaise itne dino se chup the aaj bhi waise hi rahoge. Or tum, kyu kiya yeh sab? Kaha toh tha ki dur rakhunga usse.
( he just sat there looking down)
Vani- BABA...
Kabir- Vani bachhe, kya hua? Aap ro kyu rahe ho?
Vani- Baba, bhaiyu ke kamre se zorse rone ki or saman tutne ki awaz aa rahi hai.
Kabir- ( I ran towards his room.)
Alay, beta darwaza khole. Baba is here bachhe. Baba ki jaan, please.
( he opened the door slightly. samar tried to enter)
Tum mere bete k pass nahi aoge.
Samar- Mera bhi beta hai woh..
Kabir- Kya sach me hai? Fucking stay away from my son. Vani baby aap room me jao. Or darna nahi, baba hai bhai ke pass. Nina please stay with her.
( I entered and locked the door. I turned the light on and saw the room all messed up. Alay was sitting on the floor by taking support of the bed)
Baba ki jaan.
(He looked up and that broke my heart. I won't forgive these people for hurting my baby. I went and sat beside him. He hugged me tightly and started crying)
Alay- He broke my heart baba. Mere pyaar ko admiration ka naam diya hai. I was 15 baba, I didn't knew what love is. For me love is ishu.
Am I bad? I don't disrespect anyone, I talk politely, I try to protect him. I do everything you taught me. Where am I wrong? Mamu destroyed it baba. Does he hate me this much?
Kabir- you are the best Alay. Tumhare jaisa insaan kahin nahi milega.
(I raised you like this because I wanted you to be away from my world. The way i was, samar nahi chahta tha ki tum waise bano. Galti meri hai, tumhe apni tarah banana chahiye tha. toh aaj tum is tarah nahi tut te. )
Alay- He loves me baba. Mene unki anakhon me apne liye pyaar dekha hai. Mamu ke wajah se he is not allowing himself to love me.
Kabir- Me baat karta hu usse.
Alay- Unhone kasam di hai baba. Apni kasam dekar mujhe kamzor bana diya.
Kabir- ( he kept on crying. My phone pinged with a message. It was from Ethan. He said that the guests have started coming. )
Kya karna chahte ho?
Alay- kuch bhi nahi. Bus yahin is kamre me rehna hai.
Kabir- Apne baba ki ek baat yaad rakhna Alay, never hurt yourself for anyone. Khudko bilkul nuksaan nahi pohchaoge.
Alay- wada raha. I won't hurt myself.
kabir- Jaake fresh ho jao. Me maid se kehkar yeh sab clean karwa deta hu.
( he went for the shower and I called the maids. They cleaned the room but alay was still in the washroom)
Bachhe, bahar aao.
( he came out and it hurts more)
Me khana leke aata hu. Hum sath me khayenge.
( he nodded, so I went inside the kitchen. I took the food and there stood the reason for my son's doom)
Hatho mere raste se.
Samar- Kaisa hai woh? Thik hai na?
Kabir- bachhe k liye kitni zid ki thi na samar tumne. Mere against jaake conceive kiya tha. Mujhe laga bohot pyaar se rakhoge hamare bachhe ko. Galat tha me. Tumne mere bete ko lachar bana diya hai.
You and your brother will regret hurting my son. Mene tumse wada kiya tha na, ki Alay ko asli Kabir se dur rakhunga. toh aaj me woh wada todta hu. I will make Alay like the Kabir I was.
Samar- Kabir, no. Please, woh jaisa hai...
Kabir- Woh jaisa hai me nahi chahta woh waisa rahe. I will make him THE ALAY KABIR RAJWANSH.
Samar- ( he just went from there and I couldn't move. I turned and saw bhabhi standing there. She just glared at me and moved away. The person who adored me hates me now)
IN ISHU'S ROOM-
Sameer- Ishu, tumne bilkul sahi kiya hai. Rajat is perfect for you. Guests are here and woh log bhi 5 mins me pohoch jayenge.
Ishu- Bade papa ayenge?
Sameer- nahi ayega woh. Me hu na or samar hai.
Ishu- Dad sab naraz hai.
Sameer- kuch nahi hota. Tum smile karo mere liye.
Kabir fed Alay and himself. He was with him all the time. Nina was attending the rituals halfheartedly. samar was tensed and vani refused to speak to him and didn't attend any rituals.
The wedding started and Alay was watching everything with his own eyes by standing in his balcony. Nina who saw this couldn't help but cry.
Kabir tried to move him away from window but Alay was adamant. Alay saw the whole ritual and Kabir was observing his son. Kabir decided to make him tougher and he will start it from tomorrow. He promised himself to make Alay a better version of himself. This soft Alay will be taken advantage of.
Finally it was time for the departure. Ishu felt emotional so did sameer, samar and Nina. Before going towards the car ishu stopped and looked towards Alay's window and there they realized that they lost each other.
Alay kept looking at him, until he sat inside the car.
