We enter the bathroom. Hope turns the shower on as I remove my clothes. She tries hard not to pay any attention to my body but struggles. I smile, step toward her, and lift her shirt and jumper over her head. I kiss her lips while I unclip the back of her bra.
I fling them across the bathroom, not caring where they land. My hands caress Hopeâs stomach down to her button and zip at the front of her jeans. I undo them and pull them down as I place kisses along her neck and work my way down to her breasts. She grabs my hair. âMaximus,â she moans.
Now kissing along her lower stomach, my fingers latch on either side of her black lace underwear, pulling them down.
A Goddess, completely naked and exposed in front of me. I stand up, kissing her lips seductively and carry her into the shower.
We explore each other until we moan and give in to the built-up pleasure and release.
My seed releases all over her stomach. Hope smiles. She looks more beautiful than ever. I kiss her.
We finish washing and get dressed. I make Hope a cup of tea and sit on the front porch to watch the sunset. Hope sips her tea and rests her head on my shoulder.
âWe should have an early night.â I tell her.
She follows me inside and snuggles up to me in the bed. Her fingers glide through my hair, and then she nuzzles her face into my neck.
The following day, we enter the kitchen, where Sally waits by the toaster for her breakfast to cook.
âI hope you both slept well?â she asks.
âWe did, thank you.â I smile.
âGreat! Now, Alex texted me before. He said to tell you that they are at Danâs and that he has transferred cash into my account for you. We can go to the bank after breakfast if you like,â she offers.
âThat would be great,â I reply.
We enjoy the breakfast Sally serves us. Itâs the classic fried eggs, bacon, and toasted bread with butter.
âWhy has Alex moved?â she asks.
âBellaâs going to give birth soon. Theyâll stay at Danâs house as itâs much closer to the hospital.â I say to her.
After breakfast, we walk into the city and arrive at the bank.
âIâll just check how much he deposited so I know how much to withdraw.â Sally says.
She pulls her phone out, logs into her banking app, and her face pales. âThereâs one million dollars in my account!â she gasps, looking at me.
âIs that all?â I ask.
âIs that a serious question?â Sally asks.
âWithdraw as much of it as the bank will allow you to right now, and we can worry about the rest later.â I tell her.
âUm, okay.â she says, scratching her head and entering the bank.
Hope and I remain outside and wait. Finally, about an hour later, Sally comes out with a bag folded up under her arm.
âOne hundred thousand dollars, here you go.â she says, handing it to me. âThey said they will have the rest tomorrow. They need time to organise and count it.â she explains.
âOkay, thank you so much, Sally. Here take this. Itâs the least we can do for you, helping us out.â I say to her and hand her roughly five thousand dollars in cash.
âOh no, I couldnât.â she cries, waving her hands around.
âWe insist. Could you recommend a hotel around here?â I say, placing the wad of cash in her hands.
âThere is a ton of short-term apartments in the city, or there are a couple of hotels up the road there.â she says.
âOkay, thank you, Sally, we will go to the closest hotel up the road, and we can meet back here tomorrow for the rest of the cash.â I say to her.
âOkay, well, no worries, if you need me in the meantime, you know where I live.â she smiles and waves. We wave goodbye as she walks away.
Further up the road, we find a luxurious hotel. Itâs eight stories high. It has a large fountain out the front with lily flowers floating in the water. A man in a suit greets us and opens the door for us. A strong fragrance smell hits us as we enter to see flowers in large vases. The sitting area is luxurious, with red velvet chairs and mahogany furniture. We approach the front desk, where an older gentleman serves us.
Alpha Maximus pays for a week in advance. He takes the key, and we step into the elevator, arrive at the top floor, and enter our room.
We have our dining room with a nice view from the large window. The kitchenette has a fridge with wine, cheese and other nibbles.
Thereâs a fancy menu next to the phone which lists numbers to call if we want to order a meal or for other inquiries. The bathroom has a spa, and the bed has silk coverings with rose petals and chocolates.
After we explore the rooms, I pick up the phone and dial the numbers on the list to contact the man at the desk and organise a lift into the city for us.
âCanât we go tomorrow?â Hope asks.
âWe need fresh clothes. This shirt is too tight on me.â
Hope nods in understanding. We leave the room and enter the elevator to the ground floor. A car is already waiting for us. As soon as we arrive in the inner city,
We enter a clothes store and choose a couple of outfits each. As we leave the store, I pick up the scent of other werewolves nearby.
I pause and look around, scanning the people in the area
âIs something wrong?â Hope asks, looking around.
âI smell other wolves. Stay close, okay?â I tell her.
Fearful, she holds my arm and nervously looks around.
As we walk toward the car waiting for us, the smell of a werewolf becomes stronger. Thereâs a man sitting on a bench seat with a newspaper wearing tinted sunglasses. I have a feeling the man is watching us. We step into the car, and as a precaution, I ask the driver to drive around other blocks before heading back to the hotel. We enter our hotel room. I pull down all the curtains and peek out discreetly to see if we have been followed.
After ten minutes of staring out and no one arriving, Iâm confident weâre okay.
Hope turns on the lights, so itâs not so dark while I change my shirt.
âLetâs order some food,â I suggest to Hope.
âSure,â she smiles.
I let her make the order while I grab a bottle of wine from the fridge, pop the bottle open, and pour each a glass. A while later, room service knocks on our door and delivers our meals.
As soon as we finish our dinner and wine, I pick up the phone and call Alex. âHow is Bella? Is everything okay with Alpha Dan? Are the other packs still in my territory?â I ask.
âWhoa⦠One question at a time, please,â Alex says.
âBella is fine, still pregnant. Alpha Dan was happy to take us in for as long as needed. His only concern is the other packs arenât pleased about it, and the packs are still in our territory. Alpha Dan tried to speak to Alpha Tate and Alpha Liam, but it didnât go well. They refused to tell him of their plans. Other than that, they said they would not stop hunting you and Hope down. Have you thought about what weâre going to do, Alpha?â he asks me.
âIâm going to lay low here for a few days with Hope. After that, I might have to negotiate a deal with Alpha Tate and Alpha Liam to keep the peace,â I tell him.
âWhat kind of deal?â Alex asks.
âI might have to give myself up if they agree to let Hope live and be Luna of the Blood Moon pack so you can all go back home,â I say to him.
âAlpha Maximus! You canât just let them kill you!â Alex yells.
âWell, I canât let them kill Hope and all of you either!â I snap back.
âThereâs got to be another way?â
âWe could fight them, but even though Iâm a Lycan, it wonât be enough to stand our ground if every single pack fight against us,â I argue.
âWhat if we didnât fight them all at once?â Alex says.
âWhat do you mean?â I ask.
âIf they arenât going to stop hunting you and Hope down until you are dead, then why donât we surprise them one pack at a time and take over their packs?â Alex suggests. Itâs not a bad idea in theory. Thereâs silence for a minute as we think it through. âTechnically, you only need to kill the Alpha of the packs, and no one else needs to die. If the Alpha is dead, youâll be the packâs new Alpha,â Alex points out.
âOkay, I think I have a plan. In a couple of days, Hope and I will leave Threadington. I will sneak into all the packs along the way and hunt down the Alpha of each pack. If he is against me, I will kill him. Then the pack members automatically become a part of my pack. By the time I reach Alpha Danâs pack, half the Alphaâs should be dead. Of course, by then, the other packs would have probably figured out that Iâve been killing them off one by one and will hopefully withdraw from trying to kill Hope and me.â
âWhat if they donât back down?â Alex asks.
âThen we fight them till the death,â I reply.
âIâve got your back, Alpha.â He says.
