Aarohi's pov
I read his message and saw the picture of us from yesterday. So beautiful. I love it. It looks so perfect. We both look so good together, and the sunset just makes it more beautiful behind us.
But I'm not going to talk to him. He's so flirty. I mean, he kissed a girl when he was in 8th grade. Seriously. And he's been in so many relationships; his longest relationship last for one month.
What if he broke up with me after one month?
He's used to breakups, but I'm not. I don't want to get hurt by him.
When I was on my way to my room, I saw he was sitting with Teju and talking to him , nut myra was not there with them so I guess they are fought again.
But I didn't say anything .. and I kept walking. Then I heard my name, and rudra called me.
He came to me and said, "I was waiting for you. Do you want me to walk you home?" I said no and started walking again, and he kept following me. He said, "Are you really not going to talk to me?"
I didn't reply, and then he said, "You saw my post, right?"
I said, "What post? No, I didn't."
But he said, "I know you have already read it, but can we at least talk now?" He said, "Hey, listen, why are you behaving like this? It's not my fault, but I promise it will never happen again. Just trust me."
And then I said, "Trust you? How can I trust you? You got kissed by a girl at one moment and the she text u to continue that kiss ........blahh blahhh....
And you broke up so easily. What if you break up with me? I don't want to get hurt by you."
And then he said, "Are you considering saying yes to my proposal? Is that why you're asking me not to break up with you? Then okay, I won't break up with you. Just say yes." I'll never hurt u ...
And I said, "I don't want to talk about this or anything with you," and I left.
Aothor's pov
The next day, all the students were planning to throw a party for their teacher as it was Teacher's Day. So, they were busy decorating the cafeteria and organizing things. Aarohi and Rudra were also present, but Rudra kept trying to talk , but aarohi was still not speaking to him.
Then, Sanjana approached Rudra and said "Hi Rudra, how are you?" Rudra replied, "I'm fine," and Sanjana continued talking to him. Rudra didn't want to engage in conversation, but he didn't say anything.
Myra and Teju were also assisting, as it was a group effort by all the students.
Aarohi noticed Sanjana and Rudra talking, but she wasn't happy to see them together. At that moment, Shivam approached Aarohi and asked for her help in writing a note for the teachers. Rudy saw Aarohi and Shivam sitting so close and writing something, which he didn't like.
In the evening,all the teachers attended the party . The teachers cut the cake, and everyone celebrated by dancing and eating. But after some time many teachers left .
Eventually, the music started, and all the students began dancing. Mayra approached Rudra and asked, "Can we dance, Rudra?" Rudra understood that she wanted to patch up with him, so he agreed, and they danced together. Teju and Priya were also dancing nearby.
Many students were dancing,but Aarohi was sitting with some classmates at a table.
Then, Shivam approached her and asked her to dance. Initially hesitant, she eventually agreed, and they started dancing together.
However, when Rudra saw them, he became upset. He noticed that boy holding Aarohi's hand, which made him angry.
Rudra didn't say anything; he simply stopped dancing with Myra and approached Sanjana, asking her to dance. Sanjana was clearly delighted by Rudra's invitation. As they danced, Rudra placed his hand on Sanjana's waist.
Aarohi, witnessing this, felt deeply saddened and couldn't help but watch them dancing intimately and rudra was saying something in sanjana's ears , so close.
Aarohi was really in tears.
The sight of Rudra and Sanjana made all the student shouting so loudly.
Unable to bear it any longer, she told Shivam that she wasn't feeling well and left the party.
When she left, Rudra noticed her. He followed her, calling her name continuously, but she didn't stop.
Finally catching up to her, Rudra held her hand and asked, "What happened? Why are you crying? What's wrong?"
She replied, "Nothing. Just leave me alone."
Rudra persisted, asking, "Why are you crying?"
Frustrated, she snapped, "I told you to leave me alone."
Rudra refused to let go of her hand, so she shouted, "Just let go of my hand!"
Rudra also raised his voice, saying, "What's your problem? If you feel something, tell me. And if you don't have feelings for me, stop behaving like this. Stop feeling jealous because of those girls."
Tears streamed down her face, and seeing her cry, Rudra felt a pang of sadness.
After seeing her tears, Rudra released her hand and gently held her face, cupping it with his hands as he wiped away her tears.
He pleaded, "Please, don't be like this. I'm sorry I shouted at you, but your behavior made me angry. Seeing you dance with that boy angered me.
And then Arohi said , you were dancing with Sanjana,. I was just dancing casually, but you seemed so intimate with her."
Because i got angry when that boy held your hand and dancing with u so i just did that to make u jealous.
"So, you did it on purpose?"
Rudra admitted, "Yes, I did.
Please, can you tell me now? Why did you leave the party?"
And then she said, "Because I can't bear to see you with any other girl. I can't stand seeing you getting close to anyone else. I don't know why, but it makes me feel jealous."
Rudra asked, "Why?"
She replied, "Because I'm falling for you."
Rudra couldn't help but smile upon hearing this. He continued to look at her cute, innocent face, noticing a hint of shyness in her expression.
When Aarohi noticed Rudra smiling, she said, "You're smiling at me, okay? I'm leaving."
As she turned to leave, Rudra once again held her hand, pulled her towards him, and hugged her, saying, "Stop crying, my cute Aarohi."
Aarohi protested, "Hey, what are you doing? Let me go." But he insisted, "Stay still."
While hugging Rudra whispered into Aarohi's ear, "It's the same feeling."
Confused, Aarohi asked, "What do you mean? What's the same?"
Rudra clarified, "The day when I was upset in my room, and you came, and I hugged you. It's the same warmth and feeling when I hugged you now. I can keep hugging you for my whole life."
Aarohi couldn't help but smile at his words.
After some time, Aarohi stepped back, and Rudra held her hand, asking, "So?"
Aarohi replied, "So what?"
Rudra pressed, "What are we now?"
Aarohi pretended not to understand, asking, "What are we now?"
Rudra insisted, "Are u really not going to say that?"
Aarohi questioned, "say what?"
Rudra confessed, "I told you that I love you. I love you so much. Aren't you going to reply to that?"
Aarohi replied, "I already told you that I am falling for you."
However, Rudra insisted, "That's different. You need to say 'I love you' to me."
Aarohi, feeling shy, couldn't bring herself to say it. Instead, she turned away, saying, "I'm going to my room. It's getting late."
Rudra walked beside her, saying, "Okay, I'll wait for your reply." Aarohi hesitated, but Rudra, still holding her hand, said, "We are officially a couple now."
Butterflies fluttered in Aarohi's stomach, and she smiled shyly.
Rudra also felt elated and smiled. He walked her to her room, their hands still intertwined.
