--"SO, HOW'S IT EVEN POSSIBLE YOU GET ALONG WITH A GORILLA LIKE TODO?" Nobara asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked at Yuji.

The four of them were sitting in Megumi's room, finally relaxed after the chaos. Two pizzas sat open on the middle of the bed, quickly being devoured. Misa was perched on the bed beside Megumi, her legs crossed comfortably, while Nobara and Yuji sat on chairs on either side of the bed.

"Well," Yuji began, already sounding unsure as he picked at his slice. "The two of us got along, but it was, like... I mean, I do remember everything, but it feels like I wasn't entirely myself at the time."

Nobara leaned forward, her curiosity piqued. "What do you mean? Were you drinking?" she asked with a surprisingly serious face, her tone laced with suspicion.

Yuji frowned at her, tilting his head. "Do you seriously believe I could've been drinking liquor in a situation like that?"

Misa snorted, finishing her bite of pizza. "Honestly, knowing you, Yuji, it's not the craziest thing to imagine. You have a talent for finding weird ways to bond with people."

"Hey!" Yuji protested, waving his half-eaten slice in her direction. "I do not bond with people over weird things!"

Megumi raised an eyebrow, his tone flat as he chimed in, "You bonded with Todo over a shared interest in women with big butts."

Misa nearly choked on her soda, coughing as she tried to swallow. "Wait—what?!" she sputtered, staring at Yuji. "That'swhat you bonded over? Not, like, a shared battle strategy or teamwork?"

Yuji groaned, burying his face in his hands. "It wasn't like that! He just... misunderstood something I said, and it kind of spiraled from there."

Nobara looked like she was fighting back laughter, her lips twitching as she tried to keep a straight face. "So you're saying Todo thinks you're his long-lost soulmate because of... butts?"

"Essentially, yes," Megumi said dryly, earning a glare from Yuji.

"Stop making it sound weird!" Yuji exclaimed, throwing his hands up in exasperation. "It's not like I planned it!"

Misa shook her head, grinning as she leaned back against the headboard. "You're unbelievable, Yuji. Only you could turn a battle against a cursed spirit into a bonding session about butts."

"It wasn't intentional!" Yuji groaned, slumping in his chair.

"That's hilarious," Nobara said bluntly, finally letting her laughter spill out.

Megumi let out a faint sigh, clearly used to the chaos by now. "Can we talk about something else? Anything else?"

"Fine," Misa said, still chuckling as she grabbed another slice of pizza. "But you're not living this down anytime soon, Yuji." She turned her gaze to Megumi next to her, nudging him slightly with her elbow. "How are your injuries? You're lucky they weren't worse."

"To your health and this pizza." Added Yuji, taking an eager bite of his slice.

"You could've brought me something easier to digest," Megumi groaned, leaning back against the bed with an irritated expression.

"No complaining," Nobara shot back, her words muffled by a mouthful of pizza. Misa chuckled quietly, shaking her head.

"Apparently, I got off easier," Megumi began, his gaze fixed on the bed. "All my cursed energy was drained, and once the roots were removed, Ieiri was able to patch me up right away."

"Huh," Yuji hummed thoughtfully. "So that's what happened?"

"You should know," Nobara quipped, raising an eyebrow at him. "You fought it too, didn't you?"

Yuji paused mid-bite, his pizza slice hovering in the air. Before he could respond, Megumi interjected. "Itadori," he said, his tone firm but not unkind. "You know, you've grown a lot stronger. Before, we both said we stood by our convictions. I still think that's true."

Misa watched Megumi carefully as he spoke, her pizza halfway to her mouth. His gaze remained fixated on the bed, his words unusually heavy.

"But on the other hand," Megumi continued, "one could say that we're both wrong about all that." Finally, he lifted his eyes to meet Yuji's.

"Huh?" Yuji blinked, frowning in confusion.

Nobara rested her head on her hand, her tone exasperated. "Some questions don't have answers. Don't think so hard, or you'll go bald." Her comment earned a huff of laughter from Misa.

"You're right," Megumi admitted with a slight nod. "There is no answer. I know it's just a matter of trying to accept it." He took a deep breath, his expression unreadable. "But why accept something you don't want? Only weak sorcerers do that."

Misa frowned slightly, exchanging a quick glance with Yuji. It was clear they were both thinking the same thing: What is he even talking about?

Megumi raised his head once more, his voice steady as he looked directly at Yuji. "So I've decided. I'll surpass you."

For a moment, Yuji stared at him, stone-faced. Then, laughter burst from him, loud and carefree. "You never change."

"Did me and Misa just get left out of the conversation again?" Nobara snapped, her irritation clear.

"I swear, I only know what's going on half the time," Misa grumbled, taking another bite of her pizza. "You all talk in riddles constantly."

Before anyone could respond, a sudden voice made them all jump. "There ya' go—that's my brother and his friends for ya!" boomed Aoi Todo, who had appeared out of nowhere at the foot of Megumi's bed.

In an instant, Yuji bolted upright and dashed out the door without a word, pizza slice still in hand. "Wait! Where are you going, brother?" Todo called out, chasing after him at full speed, his voice echoing through the school grounds..

The remaining three sat in stunned silence for a moment before Nobara broke it. "How does he keep getting in here?"

Misa shrugged, finishing her slice with a grin. "Better question: why does Yuji always run? He knows he's not getting away."

Megumi sighed, rubbing his temple. "I don't even want to know how this ends."

"Neither do I," Shoko's voice chimed in from the hallway, clearly having heard the commotion. "But I'm not patching them up again if they crash into anything."

Their heads whipped towards her. "Shoko-sensei?"

--The sky was clear, the sun shining brightly over the field as the students of Jujutsu Tech prepared for their impromptu baseball game. Team Tokyo stood on one side, their energy high, while Team Kyoto gathered on the opposite side, looking equally competitive. It was a rare break from curses and chaos, but the rivalry between the two schools was as fierce as ever.

Gojo stood near the pitcher's mound, grinning like a proud parent as he oversaw the chaos. "Alright, everyone! Play fair, play hard, and don't use cursed techniques unless you have to," he said cheerfully. "We wouldn't want to blow up the field... again."

Team Tokyo consisted of Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, Misa, Panda, Toge, and Maki. Across the field, Team Kyoto's lineup included Miwa, Mai, Todo, Noritoshi, Momo, and an oddly intimidating robot standing in place of Mechamaru.

Nobara stood at home plate, gripping the bat with determination. She glared at Todo, who was pitching for Kyoto. "Come on, big guy! Let's see what you've got!" she taunted.

Todo smirked, winding up for a pitch. "You asked for it, little sister," he called back before hurling the ball with impressive speed.

Nobara swung with all her might—and missed. The ball zipped past her, landing squarely in Miwa's glove as the Kyoto team cheered.

"Strike one!" Gojo announced, his voice booming across the field.

"Ugh!" Nobara groaned, stomping her foot. "I wasn't ready!"

"You literally asked for it," Misa teased from the dugout, smirking as she leaned against the fence. "Don't embarrass us, Kugisaki."

"You're next, so don't talk big!" Nobara snapped, pointing the bat at her before returning her focus to Todo's next pitch.

Yuji, sitting next to Misa, was already laughing. "This is gonna be so fun."

The game continued, each team bringing their unique dynamic to the field. When Team Kyoto's robot stepped up to bat, Panda immediately raised a hand. "Wait, wait, wait—how is that even fair? It's a literal robot!"

"It's not my fault you're not cutting-edge technology!" the robot retorted, its mechanical voice strangely smug.

"You're not even a real player!" Panda growled.

Miwa chimed in, holding up her hands innocently. "Hey, Gojo-sensei said it counts!"

Misa leaned back, arms crossed as she watched the chaos unfold. "This game's rigged, but it's kinda hilarious."

Later in the game, Yuji stood on second base, ready to bolt to third. Todo was guarding the base, staring at Yuji with a twinkle of admiration in his eye. "Brother," he said solemnly. "If you run, I will catch you. But I'll let you have this one... if you tell me the truth about your soulmate preferences."

Yuji's face turned bright red. "Not now, Todo!"

"Now is always the time!" Todo exclaimed dramatically.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines, Megumi sighed. "Why are we even playing this?"

"To crush Kyoto's spirit," Nobara answered with a smirk. "And to prove we're better, obviously."

When Misa finally stepped up to bat, Todo was still pitching. She swung confidently and sent the ball flying deep into the outfield. "Home run!" she shouted, dashing around the bases with a grin as Team Tokyo erupted into cheers.

"Nice one, Misa!" Yuji called, high-fiving her as she reached home plate.

"Thanks, Yuji," Misa said, her smirk widening. "But now you owe me ice cream for showing you how it's done."

"Deal," Yuji laughed, shaking his head.

The game carried on with more chaotic moments—Maki nearly taking off Miwa's head with a line drive, Panda stealing home with surprising agility, and Toge managing to make the robot's circuits glitch with a perfectly timed "Shake!" from the dugout.

Gojo stood near the dugout, his sunglasses perched on his nose as he watched his students with exaggerated pride. He was practically glowing as Team Tokyo took their positions on the field, his grin wide enough to rival the sun.

"That's my team!" Gojo announced, waving both arms dramatically. "Look at them—talented, determined, full of potential! Isn't it inspiring, Utahime?"

Utahime, standing near the Kyoto dugout, shot him a glare. "They're just playing baseball, Gojo. Calm down."

"Playing baseball?" Gojo gasped, clutching his chest as if she had personally insulted him. "This is art, Utahime. This is teamwork. This is the heart of Jujutsu Tech on full display!"

"You're insufferable," she muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Meanwhile, the game carried on. Team Kyoto was up to bat, and Momo stepped into the batter's box, her broom resting against the fence. She twirled the bat a few times, then locked eyes with Maki on the pitcher's mound.

"You ready for this?" Momo called, smirking.

Maki raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Just swing already."

Maki hurled the ball with surprising speed, and Momo swung—sending a high pop fly toward left field. Panda scrambled backward, his arms outstretched as he called, "I got it, I got it!"

The ball bounced off his paw-like hands and onto the grass.

"You don't got it," Nobara yelled from second base, throwing her glove in the air dramatically.

"Sorry!" Panda said sheepishly, scrambling to pick up the ball.

"Come on, Panda, I raised you better than this!" Gojo called out from the sidelines, shaking his head in mock disappointment. "Focus!"

Utahime crossed her arms, smirking slightly. "Guess your team isn't perfect after all."

"Oh, please," Gojo retorted, grinning. "Panda's just lulling them into a false sense of security. It's strategy, Utahime. You wouldn't understand."

Back on the field, Todo stepped up to bat. He adjusted his gloves dramatically, flexing his muscles for the crowd. "Stand back, everyone," he declared. "I'm about to unleash my ultimate swing!"

Yuji, standing on the mound now, rolled his eyes. "Todo, just hit the ball."

"Brother," Todo said, locking eyes with Yuji. "Are you ready to witness greatness?"

Yuji sighed, winding up for the pitch. "I guess I don't have a choice."

The ball shot toward home plate, and Todo swung with all his might, sending it soaring deep into the outfield. "YES!" he shouted, pumping his fist as he sprinted toward first base. "BEHOLD MY POWER!"

Panda darted toward the ball, catching it just before it hit the ground. "Got it!" he yelled, hurling it back to second base, where Megumi tagged out Momo, who had tried to steal.

Todo stopped mid-run, his dramatic flair deflating. "Brother, how could you let this happen?"

"You were supposed to stop running," Yuji said, chuckling.

Meanwhile, Utahime was clapping enthusiastically for her students. "Nice swing, Todo! That's the spirit!" she called. Turning to her other students, she added, "Let's show them what Kyoto's made of!"

"Kyoto's made of missed opportunities," Misa quipped from third base, smirking as she adjusted her glove.

Momo glared at her from the sidelines. "Keep talking, ice queen. We'll see who's laughing when I catch your next hit."

When Misa stepped up to bat, Gojo leaned over the fence of the Tokyo dugout, cupping his hands around his mouth. "Alright, Misa! Show 'em what you're made of!"

"Can you not?" Misa said, glancing over her shoulder with a groan. "You're so embarrassing."

"That's my job!" Gojo called back, grinning.

Utahime sighed loudly, shaking her head. "Honestly, I don't know how you put up with him."

The game continued with plenty of chaos. Toge managed to confuse the robot on Team Kyoto by muttering, "Flakes," causing it to freeze mid-play. Nobara tackled Mai during a base steal attempt, claiming it was "an accident" with zero believability. Megumi successfully pulled off a double play with Maki, much to Kyoto's dismay.

The final inning came down to Yuji pitching to Todo. The tension was thick as Todo stared Yuji down, gripping the bat tightly. "Brother," Todo began, his voice low and serious. "This moment will decide everything."

Yuji sighed, winding up for the pitch. "You're so dramatic."

He threw the ball, and Todo swung with everything he had—only to miss entirely, spinning himself around and falling to the ground.

"STRIKE THREE!" Gojo yelled, practically dancing on the sidelines. "Tokyo wins!"

The Tokyo team erupted into cheers, Nobara and Misa high-fiving as Panda hoisted Yuji onto his shoulders. On the Kyoto side, Utahime patted Todo on the back, trying to console him as he muttered about "betrayal" and "destiny."

"Better luck next time, Utahime!" Gojo called, winking. "Don't feel bad—your team tried their best!"

Utahime glared at him. "You are absolutely the worst."

As the teams dispersed, Misa glanced at Yuji, who was still grinning from ear to ear. "Not bad for a bunch of sorcerers," she said.

"Not bad at all," Yuji agreed, tossing his glove onto the bench. "But next time, I'm pitching. Todo can't hog the spotlight forever."

As the students packed up and the sun began to set, the rivalry simmered down, replaced by shared laughter and teasing. Misa couldn't help but chuckle at Miwa sulking over loosing to Maki, again. For just a moment, it felt like they were ordinary kids playing a game—no curses, no danger, just fun. It was the kind of moment they didn't get often, and they cherished it.
