Chapter 6: 𝟏.𝟏

Arielle was now rushing to the Grill after Caroline had texted her saying Elijah's witch had gone psycho and was basically threatning everyone.

Once she went in the Grill she saw Jonas with Elena and Stefan, "Jonas!" she yelled making her way closer to the group.

The older witch turned to her, "Arielle, don't try to stop me." he warned.

The girl shook her head, "What happened?" Arielle questioned.

"They killed Luka." he revealed with anger lacing his voice.

Arielle noticed how the stage lights lit on fire and his fist clenching when he said this, "Okay, it's gonna be fine-" before she could finish her sentence Caroline lunges at Jonas and Stefan grabbed Arielle and Elena and speeds them out of there.

"Why would you do that!?" Arielle yelled once they got to Elena's porch.

"I just saved you." Stefan said.

"I don't need saving." she snapped, "And Jonas is on psycho mode, who knows what he might to Caroline." she said.

The two ignored her and walked into the house making her scoff and follow after them, "Hello! Are you deaf?"

Once she went to Stefan's side she saw Bonnie and Jeremy there, "Hey you two, what-" Stefan covered her mouth with his hands making her fight in protest.

He let go and went upstairs, "What a damn weirdo." she muttered. Bonnie followed after him and once Arielle heard screaming she followed them to see what was happening.

She got there and saw Bonnie, Stefan, and Elena? No, Katherine, standing over Jonas' body, "Oh my-" she mumbled with tears forming in her eyes.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" she screeched at the three.

"We had to." Stefan reasoned.

"Why? Because you didn't trust him. Or because he was stronger than you and could turn you all over to Klaus." she snapped furiously.

"Second one." Katherine said unbothered.

Arielle cared very little for people but Jonas had been a mentor of hers, and Luka was one of her few friends.

She turned to the women furiously, "Well I'm stronger than Jonas." she stated, "And if I don't have Elijah in two days," she paused and looked between them all, "I'll call Klaus myself." she warned.

"You wouldn't. You probably don't even know where he is." Katherine said.

"You killed my sister, killed one of my few friends, and his father." she stated angrily making the mirros slightly crack, "Don't underestimate me." with that she walked downstairs.

Once she walked downstairs she saw Damon and Elena, "Who are you?" Damon asked standing protectively in front of Elena.

"Black Widow." she answered with a sarcastic smile.

The man furrowed his brows in confusion and Elena walked to stand next to him, "Damon, this is Caroline's sister, Arielle." she said.

"Right! The adopted sister." he said trying to remember what he knew about the girl.

"And you must be the pedophile." she said with a fake smile.

Before he could say anything Stefan's voice interrupted them, "Everything's taken care of." Stefan said coming down the stairs with Katherine behind him.

Arielle scoffed, "You mean you killed an innocent man?" she corrected with sarcasm lacing her voice.

"He was trying to kill Elena." Damon defended.

Arielle rolled her eyes, "She's a doppleganger." she stated, "She's automatically involved in the supernatural world. If she doesn't learn how to put on her big girl pants on, then she'll end up dead."

The girl seemed uncomfortable with her statement, because it was true. Stefan noticed this and quickly went to her defense, "She has us protecting her."

Arielle turned to him in disbelief, "And you guys are a match for a thousand year old Original?" she questioned with a small laugh escaping her lips.

"They have a five hundred year-old vampire on their side," Katherine added smugly.

Arielle turned to her, "And you might be useful. But you have one flaw."

The older vampire was intrigued at this, "And what is that?"

"You're scared of Klaus." she stated simply.

Katherine's face dropped knowing she was right but she covered it up quickly not wanting anyone to see her lower her gaurd.

Arielle smirked knowing she hit a nerve, "Tell your pedo of a brother what I told you, bunny-muncher." with that she walked out of the house.

The next day Arielle was stuck following Caroline around.

Apparently she had told Matt the truth about her and he freaked out. Caroline had spent the whole morning calling him but he didn't answer and Arielle couldn't do a locator spell because she didn't have the materials.

They were now at the Lockwood Luncheon. Arielle didn't know what the event was for and she didn't care. They were standing in a corner when Stefan and Elena came up to them.

"Hey, any luck finding Matt?" Stefan asked as he and Elena stood infront of him.

"Do you see me third-wheeling a busboy and a control freak?" Arielle questioned sarcastically making Caroline smack her arm.

"None." the blonde said, "Whaf if he tells somebody? What if he tells everybody?" she ranted panicking.

"No, we just have to find him and make sure that doesn't happen." he said assuringly.

"This wouldn't be a problem if the Salvatore's would've left this town alone." Arielle sing-songed.

"Arielle" Caroline warned. The girl put her hands up in fake-defeat.

Stefan turned to his girlfriend ignoring her comment, "Do you have any idea where he might be?"

Elena shook her head, "I wish I did, but he wasn't really one to run."

"Didn't seem to get the trait from his parents." Arielle mumbled.

"Arielle." Caroline yelled.

"What?" she said innocently, "I bet his dad is some dead-beat, drug-selling lunatic. And we all know mama Donavan." she said, "A pedo, just like Damon. Two peas in a pot." she said smiling at Stefan.

"Elles, stop." Caroline pleaded, "Fine." Arielle muttered defiently.

"This wasn't supposed to happen. I was supposed to tell him the truth about me at the right moment, and he was supposed to be ok with it because he loves me." Caroline ranted.

Arielle put a comforting arm around her, "It's gonna be okay, Care, I promise." and that seemed to assure Caroline, because Arielle always kept her promises.

"We'll help too." Elena added, "I just need to accept this thing for Jenna."

Caroline nodded, "Call me when you're done and we'll be looking out for him in the meantime." she said her goodbyes and she left with Arielle.

After a very long day of looking for Matt, he finally showed up at the Forbes house and Arielle left them to talk.

She was sitting on a bench in town square enjoying the piece and quite when someone sat next to her. She wouldn't have minded, but this was witch.

"What do you want?" Arielle asked looking at the man next to her.

"I'm Maddox."

"Ugly name, and not what I asked."

"Klaus has heard a lot about you, and he wants to meet you."

Arielle snorted, "So he sent his lap dog?" the girl shook her head in disbelief, "Tell him I'll gladly meet him, but he has to come himself."

Arielle didn't really care about Klaus, but she knew the '𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴' he needed to break his curse. She wanted to meet with him just to make sure Caroline was out of harms way.

"He doesn't take orders from anyone."

"Oh, look, we have something in common." she remarked sarcastically, "I'll see him if he gets the balls to speak to me himself." she got up and started to walk away but Maddox grabbed her by the wrist.

"Like I said, he doesn't take orders from anyone."

Arielle smashed her head into his and he stumbled back grabbing his nose, which was now bleeding, "And like I said, neither do I."

She kicked him down and smashed his head on the pavement, not hard enough to cause permanent damage, but hard enough to make sure he'd pass out.

She walked away from the body unbothered.
