Marcus and Rebekah had decided that they would celebrate Caroline's birthday another way. Rebekah had said, that while she doesn't want to celebrate her birthday, she should atleast celebrate her first year as a vampire.

Caroline reluctantly agreed. She thought the idea was good; she was celebrating her 𝑟𝑒𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑡ℎ. Plus, it was an excuse to hang out with her friends, and get drunk.

But first they had to change into warmer clothes. So whilst Marcus was getting the alcohol and all the supplies, the girls went back to Caroline's house to get changed.

Caroline walked in and jumped back in shock when Matt, Bonnie, and Elena, jumped out and yelled '𝑆𝑢𝑟𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒!'

"Happy Birthday!" the Donovan yelled.

"What are you guys doing here?" Caroline asked, as she heard her sister and Rebekah making their way closer to the porch.

"Well you blew off school and missed our work of birthday art, so—"

Elena was cut off by Arielle and Rebekah walked in laughing about something. As soon as Rebekah saw the doppleganger, she sped her to a wall.

"You wench!" she spat.

"Rebekah let her go!" Matt exclaimed.

"I think I'd very much prefer to kill her." she said.

"Bekah. Let her go." Caroline finally said.

Rebekah looked back at her in disbelief, "Are you serious?" Caroline only nodded in response.

"We're not arguing today. Not on my re-birthday!" Rebekah let the doppleganger go and went back to Arielle's side, while Bonnie and Matt went to Elena's side.

"Your what?" Matt questioned, helping Elena stand.

"Don't worry about!" she said, "We're all going to the Falls, and we're all going to have a good time."

Everyone just nodded at her stern tone. They could tell she wasn't in the mood, so they complied.

Caroline, Arielle, Rebekah, Bonnie, Elena, and Matt made their way through the woods, "This is creepy, even for us." the witch commented.

"Well, I need to celebrate my death as a human, so I can celebrate my rebirth as vampire."

"So, like a pheonix?" Matt deduced.

Arielle snorted, "That's a good comparison."

The group kept walking until they reached the Forbes tomb. Marcus came out as he heard the group arriving, "Woah, I did not but enough Tequila for seven people!" he exclaimed, seeing Elena, Bonnie, and Matt.

"It's fine." Caroline assured as they all started walking into the tomb.

Arielle held the cake as Rebekah got a candle, "Here lies Caroline Forbes." Arielle begun, "Cheerleader, Miss Mystic Falls, third grade hopscotch champion."

"Friend, daughter, sister, perfectionist." Rebekah carried on, adding candles on the cake.

"Meangirl, sometimes, no offense." Caroline gave the hybrid a playful glare at his words, but eventually smiled.

"None taken." she assured.

"She was seventeen, and had a really good life." Bonnie said.

"Rest in peace, so that she can move forward." Matt said.

"It's what you really need. What we 𝑎𝑙𝑙 really need." Elena added, "Amen, or cheers, or whatever."

Arielle lit the candles with her magic and smiled at her sister, "Okay, make a wish."

Caroline closed her eyes and blew out the candles. They all cheered and started to drink.

Matt went to take a sip of Tequila but Elena snatched it from him and said, "I need it more then you do, trust me."

Arielle and Rebekah looked at eachother and rolled their eyes as Elena took a sip from the bottle, "Care, why are you taking so long?" Arielle asked.

Caroline looked up and put her phone away in a hurry, "What? Nothing." she rushed out, going back to her spot next to her sister.

"Okay, you're a bad liar in general, and an even worse drunk liar." Marcus said with laugh.

"I might have texted Tyler..." the girl revealed hesitantly.

"Caroline." Elena scolded.

"What? I'm frail." she defended.

"Give her a break." Bonnie spoke, "You can't control what everyone does all the time."

Arielle, Marcus, and Rebekah all looked at eachother and tried to hold in their laughter, "Wow!" Elena mumbled.

"Sorry," the witch apologized, "I know it's Caroline's birthday, funeral or whatever but, I just feel it's really wrong to compel Jeremy to leave town."

"I'm doing it to protect him, Bonnie." the girl defended, "I want to give him a chance to have a quiet, normal life."

"He should be ablw to choose how he wants to live it, you're taking his choices away." Bonnie argued.

Elena sighed, "Bonnie, you can't tell him."

"Why?" she questioned, "Are you gonna have Damon compel me not to?"

Elena's face dropped in shock, "You know, you guys are ruining a perfectly good funeral." Matt said.

"Shut up!" Arielle and Rebekah said at the same time.

"I'm sorry. I'm just gonna go sleep it off or something." Bonnie said as she stood up, "Happy Birthday!"

Caroline gave her a small wave as she walked out of the tomb. Rebekah and Marcus got up and walked out of the tomb, "We're gonna head out. Happy birthday, Caroline." Rebekah said.

Arielle and Caroline laughed as they walked out, "Have fun!" the blonde called out suggestively, "I hope Carol Lockwood's not home." she whispered with a small laugh.

Elena and Matt laughed at her words, "I still can't believe those two are together." Matt muttered, taking a sip of the tequila.

"How long do you think it'll take her to kil him?" Elena asked with a smile, but neither of the Forbes sister thought it was funny.

"Well, none." Arielle answered, "Considering the fact that they 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 like each."

"I was just joking." the human girl mumbled.

"Mhm, sure."

Caroline went to cut into the conversation, but stopped once she heard Tyler say, "Sorry, I didn't mean to crash a party."

Everyone turned to look at him, "So don't." Matt snarled.

"No, it's-it's okay." Caroline interferred.

"Can I talk to you for a sec? It's kind of important." Tyler said towards the blonde.

Caroline nodded and stood up. Tyler stood aside and let her walk out first, with him following close behind.

Arielle looked between Matt and Elena, and cleared her throat awkwardly before walking out of the tomb; those two were the last people on earth, she'd want to be in a room with.

She walked a bit deep into the woods, not really having a destination, just walking. She heard a branch crack in the distance, making her turn around.

"Care?" she looked around, trying to look into the distance.

She felt a needle being stabbed into her arm. She turned and her face was full of betrayal once she saw who stabbed her.

"Again, Stefan?"
