Bree's POV.

"Never knew that babies can be such a pain while looking so cute," Aiden states with tired eyes while looking at Janel who's falling asleep on my shoulder.

"I know I know," a small laugh escapes my lips as I think of how Jayden was when he was just a few weeks old. Way too calm for a new born but when he wanted something, his cries could be heard to the end of the street until he got it. Surprise strikes me when I realized I just smiled thinking of Jayden, that never happened and every time I think of him, I just end up in tears.

Listening to Janel's steady breath, I realize she's finally fast asleep so I walk up to the cradle with Aiden walking ahead of me to help me put her to bed without waking her up. A smile makes its way to Aiden's face when he looks at the adorable baby fast asleep and trust me baby's do that to you. You can't help smiling every time you see their beautiful faces. "Finally, I can just snuggle with you and get some sleep,"

"What if Janel wakes up again?" I question with a playful smile.

"Well then we'll just be spending a sleepless night," he pulls me into his embrace before kissing my forehead. "Thanks for helping me take care of them tonight,"

"Thanks? Really?" he asks raising an eyebrow. "Yeah,"

"I'm with you baby doll. In everything, and I love doing things with you so don't you ever bother thanking me for stuff," I smile nodding and kiss his cheek before heading towards the bed. I'm glad Jackson and Amanda could get some sleep today.

Snuggling closer into Aiden's strong arms, I think about what Amanda said earlier. I can't imagine anyone else in place of Aiden and I doubt he would want anyone else with our past history giving us more reasons to stay together. Also our love means everything to both of us.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Just about where our relationship is heading," even if the only source of light is the moon light, I could see the happiness in Aiden's eyes. Maybe he was waiting for me to think about it?

"About that, I just want you to trust me and stop worrying about that for a while,"

"Why?" I ask confused trying to read his face that shows nothing but pure joy of having this conversation. He caresses my cheek while pulling me closer as if we weren't already close enough.

"Because I said so and trust me sweetheart, there's no way I'm letting you go again. I'm only going to look for ways to make you mine forever,"

I got the assurance I needed to calm my heart down and now all I've got to do is trust the guy I ever loved.

"Good morning baby doll," Aiden's voice wakes me up making me smile with closed eyes. I'm becoming so lazy lately that I don't wake up before eight o'clock in the morning and Aiden usually wakes me up to some coffee and breakfast. Talk about being a spoilt brat all over again.

Opening my eyes, I sit up just to feel dizzy and fall back in bed, "Are you alright?"

Aiden's concern is evident in his but I just don't find my words to answer him immediately so I just nod instead while closing my eyes for a few seconds, "I guess I shouldn't have sit up so fast," a chuckle escapes my lips as I slowly sit up again with Aiden adding a helping hand so that I don't fall again.

"I'm fine Aiden, stop panicking over stuff like this," I tell him but seems like he still isn't convinced and continues to give me a hard expression. "Not that I believe you but you're going for a doctor's checkup as soon as you get time,"

I just nod in response knowing that there's no use arguing with him. He just thinks about all the broken bones and head injuries I had in the accident every time I feel weak or something like this happens. Every time I tell him none of the dizziness and all is because of the injuries but just because of lack of rest or not eating properly some times, he just ends up dragging me to the doctor for a regular checkup.

"You worry a lot though," I state heading towards the washroom to brush my teeth. Brushing my teeth, I stare at my reflection and notice how tired I look even though I'm sleeping for the minimum of five hours these days even when I work late. Maybe I should try following the sleep schedule the doctor recommended me to follow the last time I visited him but seriously though, I'm sleeping well these days and I'm surprised I still look tired.

Walking back into the bedroom, I find Aiden lying on the bed with his eyes closed and probably deep in thought as always. I get onto him and peck his lips which soon turns into a kiss as Aiden pulls me close by my waist before rolling over so that he's hovering me, "As much as I would love to take you right here, you need to have your breakfast first,"

I roll my eyes at him as his gets off me, "I'm not sick Aiden."

"Yeah, you're just not healthy enough,"

Scoffing at him I sit up as he gets me the tray of breakfast which has some yummy looking blueberry pancakes topped whipped cream making me realize how hungry I am.

A moan escapes my lips as I devour the pancakes making Aiden smile widely while my phone goes off with Stacey's call. "Hey Stacey,"

"Hey Bree, can I get a day off today? I need to take my daughter for a doctor's checkup today,"

"Sure and just send me the schedule for this weekend so that I don't bother you for the next two days,"

"Thank you so much for giving me permission with such a short notice and I'll send it to you as soon as possible. Please don't hesitate to call me if you need anything,"

I hang up on her call soon when Aiden gives me an annoyed look for not completing my breakfast. I finish eating quickly while Aiden just sits there keeping an eye on me as if I'm a kid and I'm tired of arguing with him over how he's over reacting for everything. "Can you get your schedule all clear next weekend?"

"Sure but why?" I question him while grabbing my clothes for the day. "Well it's a surprise baby doll,"

Aiden's arms snake around my waist pulling me against himself with a cheeky smile and I kiss him wrapping my arms around his neck. Returning a short kiss, he pulls back and kisses my forehead. "I've got a meeting in one hour Bree and if you keep tempting me like this, I'll never make it in time,"

A smile makes its way onto my face, "let me not make it worse for you then cause I already can feel you bulge," I giggle pushing him away before heading towards the bathroom.

"And just because I didn't question you about the surprise you're planning doesn't mean I love surprises now,"

"Well some habits never change," Aiden grins making me roll my eyes smiling before getting inside the bathroom and shut the door behind me. Well for all I know, Aiden always makes the surprise worth the wait making me forget how much I hate surprises and instead makes me fall in love with them.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates but I've just been busy and stuff. I'm trying to make some time to write new updates and yes, you guys can expect an update within a week this time since I'm almost done writing the next chapter.
