I hear far away cries and growls, my heart feels like it's been yanked, both the doctor and emery's head raises, their noses pointed to the ceiling.
I know it's jasper it must be he's hurt, I start to sweat my nerves growing every second, I look over at the doctor who is shuffling through pages on the desk searching for something, Emery however her eyes a glazed over and she continues to stare up at the ceiling.
After a moment she blinks out of it her hand lowering to my gaze, she nods giving me a knowing look, we're going to see jasper.

Emery rushes out of the room in front of me, I follow close behind, I stumble slightly remembering my wounded leg. Emery seems to also because she stops and hoists me up piggyback style.
He starts off running way faster than I ever could, after a long while of running through different hallways we come up to a door which resembles the door in the nurse's office. My heart rate speeds up as we near Jasper it's like I can feel his pulse hammering against my chest. The pain is excruciating feeling what he's currently feeling.
I know half of it is because of the full moon tonight, that's just making all of this harder to manage.
I hop off of Emery with a bit of effort I step through the door trying my best to ignore the stinging coming from my wound. I walk through and my eyes instantly meet Jasper's pained ones, they instantly go from a light brown to a dark brown his chest grumbles with a growl of need. I swallow then walk forward putting all my weight on my good leg.
His arms shoot out and wrap around my torso as soon as I'm in reach, he pulls me in close to his chest. Jasper lays on his side now to get closer to my body. I turn to face him and slowly lay down flat next to him my back flush against his bare chest. I know he needs this to be close to being but it still doesn't make me any less scared of what he could do it I got him mad.
His head falls to my neck and I feel his breathing slow down. This helps me calm down and when I open my eyes I notice all the other people standing around in the room, I feel my cheeks flush red. This is beyond embarrassing.
I look around and notice Avery patting Emery on the back probably and praising her for doing a good job.
The door bursts open and a flustered looking doctor Elmer rushes in with a bunch of different folders in his arms. He stumbles over to the desk and drops the files and papers on the desk.
"Give the patients space everyone! Let them heal and get better" Mr. Elmer shouts. As soon as he says that everyone in the room including Avery and Emery bow. Then they all leave out through the doors. When they've all left doctor Elmer walks over and pulls a chair up behind him.
"So as you can tell, we need to fix up your leg quickly before it gets infected, Luna," he tells me. I shake my head quickly.
"We need to look after Jasper first! He got shot, the bullet only grazed my leg" I say.
He shakes his head, "The bullet has already been pulled out from Jasper's abdomen and he's healing up fine. But yours might not be"
"Rose darling let the doctor stitch you up" Jasper says giving me a quick peck against my neck which sends little sparks shooting out.
I giggle slightly, "you're going to have to let me go if my leg is to be stitched up," I say and move to a sitting position, Jasper's arms fall to around my waist and he grumbles in annoyance.
"I guess you'll have to do it here doctor," I say shooting a glare down to Jasper's head which rests comfortably on my thigh. He sends me and doctor Elmer a cheeky smile.
Dr Elmer sighs then pulls out a suitcase-like box, he opens it and it contains syringes, bandages, antibiotics, and some gauze. He pulls out a syringe with a pointy needle at the end and fills the syringe up with a liquid which I quickly realise will go into my leg so that I don't feel the pain.
"You will feel a slight pinch Luna, look away if needed" Dr Elmer warns me before he lowers the needle to the bare skin on my leg.
I squeeze my eyes shut never liking needles. I feel a little pinch then stinging before Dr Elmer gives me the all-clear, I open my eyes to see that the needle is out and put into the disposal bin.
I sigh then notice him getting the stitches ready, this was going to take awhile...

"Thanks for your patience, Alpha.
And Luna tells me if the wound starts to hurt at all and I'll take a look" Dr Elmer stands near the doorway, he bows quickly then leaves us alone in the room.
I sigh and fall back into Jasper's chest, his arms wrap around my waist and I lay my head back on his shoulder. I look up into his light brown eyes I study how his chocolate brown hair falls in front of his eyes when he leans down his lips coming close to mine, I meet him halfway without another thought. His lips crash against mine they mold together moving in harmony.
I turn over so that I'm now facing him on my knees I straddle him and bring my arms up wrapping one around his neck the other finding the back of his head. My fingers get tangled in his hair I pull lightly.
Jasper mumbles something incoherent before biting my lip lightly. I moan and move closer. Jasper laughs huskily before pulling away.
"Rose we should stop-"
I sit back and pout giving him my best puppy dog eyes.
"-it's not that I want to... but I know if we keep doing what we've been doing I won't be able to stop... any other night. But not tonight the full moon is just too overpowering" he says his voice coming out weak, I know he wants me even more than I'm prepared to give him.
I nod and smile, leaning forward on my knees I quickly press my lips to his forehead.
"Anyways it's been a long day, we should get some rest" he whispers.
I nod and just like clockwork a yawn escapes my lips, Jasper smiles standing up he picks me up bridal style in his arms.
We leave the room and notice Avery and Emery sitting outside on the floor, they stand up as Jasper steps out.
"You two don't have to stay, go home get some rest" Jasper says, they nod and bow saying a quick goodbye then walking down the hall.
Jasper walks through the castle, we soon reach some large wooden doors. He pushes one open with his free hand and he walks inside to a large king-size bed. He lays me down gently onto the bed.
"You should get some rest... my room is connected it's through that door," he says.
My mouth drops open, "wait this is my room?" I ask.
He nods, "yas it was built especially for when the alpha finds his mate" he walks over to the door connecting his room to mine.
"Wait! I-I don't want to sleep alone tonight" I say.
He turns to me slowly eyeing me, his and eyes guarded. "I don't know if I'll be able to hold back if I stay here" he admits.
I smile weakly, my tired eyes closing slowly, its hard for me to keep them open as the day comes to an end. "I believe in you" I smile.
That seems to break him, either seeing me tired and wanting him to lay next to me, or because I'm weak. But he walks over anyways and pulls the cover over both our bodies, his arms wrap around my waist and my eyes close slowly loving the sensation of having my mate close to me, in this moment there's no place I'd rather be .

Ahh so happy I'm finished this chapter! I know it wasn't to interesting but it will get more dramatic in the next update which should hopefully be up in 2 days.
