Long lost friends🔹🔹🔹"Yess... Yess.... One and two!!!" Spruha said clapping her hands , as little Pihu was taking baby steps. "Come here pumpkinpie , come to buaa!!!" She said smiling as Pihu squealed with her baby steps making everyone laugh. Spruha took her in her arms and twirled her around. "Yeah... My baby😙" and kissed pihu's chubby cheeks. Pihu was playing with Spruha's hairs while talking with her dad. "Good morning princess! Good morning sona!" Said Siddhesh as he greeted his two favourite girls!! Spruha smiled , while the little one said "papa papa" giggling , running into his arms. "Spruha Siddhesh come fast. The breakfast is ready." They heard their mother's voice from the kitchen. Soon , everyone were at the table , nisha ( nishita ) was arranging the table. Siddhesh settled Pihu in her baby chair , tieing her apron. She squealed making cute face as she saw everyone seated together. Nisha prepared Spruha's favourite veg mayo sandwich and speciality---pancakes for her , siddhesh's favourite aaloo parantha , Upma for her and her in-laws and the baby food for Pihu. Rachna served freshly prepared fruit juices. The family had a good morning indeed , with lots of fun. Spruha had enrolled her name in Mumbai's best known Ｓａｎｊｅｅｖａｎｉ hospital for working. There was still a week's time to join. Until then , she enjoyed being at home with Pihu and her family. Skyped Jace and Elsa sometimes , read books , went for a long walk in the gardens. She was in touch with Shantanu and Mayra through textings. They used to often have small conversations. Shivani was shifted to Delhi , while her other friends were still in Mumbai with good degrees. Today , Prisha was visiting Spruha for a lunch invitation. When got to know about her arrival , her happiness knew no bounds!!! However , she couldn't meet her friend as she was stuck in loads of surgeries. Today , being a off Spruha invited her at her home for lunch. She was also excited to meet Varun , but he was currently out of town for his family function. The ladies were discussing about the lunch while Pihu was enjoying with her grandfather. "Today is Wednesday , shall we make some nonveg menu!!?? Since , prisha is coming..." Nisha asked her mother-in-law and Spruha was peeling the green peas. "Prish is a pure vegetarian bhabhi!!" Spruha said smiling. "Yess... She likes Veg Biryani made by me. Spruha , call her and ask what more she likes!" Rachana said. Prisha was like a daughter to her. She knew her since her 8th grade , and as Spruha's bestfriend. She was family!!"My girl!! Always busy with the hospital work!! Pata nahi tera bhi aisa hoga kya sona!!" Her mother said worried , while Spruha just smiled. Rachana wanted her daughter to be in some other field , she knew that medical would be hectic and she would be left busy. But Spruha had other plans....and so , her mother just supported her  , knowing how stubborn her intelligent daughter is! Spruha called prisha asking , but she didn't mind eating anything from her favourite aunt's hands. She had always loved her tasty dishes!! "Koi farmaish nahi hai uski , aaii" Spruha said. Discussing further , they decided to make Veg Biryani , tasty paneer grills , veg cutlets , fresh salad , with seviyan kheer. Prisha loved Rachana's kheer with lots of kaju , badam...pista!!! In the noon , prisha came with a box of kajukatli. She greeted everyone and hugged her bff. "How are you babe! I missed you!!" Prisha said hugging her tight. "Missed you too sweetie!!" Spruha said giving her a peck on her cheek. "Namaste uncle!" She greeted sharad who was reading newspaper. "Hello beta!! Kaisi ho!!?? How are all at home?? How is Ravi now??? Do he take his medications properly???" Sharad enquires her about his friend. Prisha's father had an car accident months ago , leading to a major hand fracture. "Everyone is good at home. Yah... Papa takes care now , his physio excercises are going well." She said. Meanwhile , Spruha bought Pihu out after her good nap. Prisha was amazed seeing a new member. Spruha introduced her to Nisha and Pihu. Pretty soon , they sat for lunch. Prisha was happy having Rachana's food after a long time!!! She praised Nisha as she ate the delicious biryani made by her!! Prisha loved every item on the menu and complimented very well. "Wow!!! Aunty!!! This tastes so good!!! Ummm---- I swear!!! Itni acchi kheer maine kabhi khayi hi nahi!!!! Delicious!!!!😋" Prisha moaned euphorically as had a spoon of special kheer! Rachana smiled at her. Post dessert , prisha enjoyed family time with the Agarwal's and had fun with Pihu. Spruha took her to her room along with Pihu. "So.... What about him!!???" Prisha asked as they were casually talking. Spruha went silent after the question. Her movements of slowly patting sleeping pihu's back stopped. "I don't know!" She sighed looking out of the window. "What do mean?? Are you going to leave him?? Spr---" "Then what should I do?? Do you think I was kidding when I told you about that incident. I saw with my eyes prisha!!!! What other evidences I need!!!! He... He was having affa--" "Spruha!!! God!!! Think before you say that word!! Even if you saw those things , what says that they were real??? Have you talked with him??? Did you ever think of him...??? In these seven years???" "Shhh... Slow down , you'll awake her. And by the way , why are you taking his side?? Didn't I told you everything??? And you were angry on him??? Weren't you??? Then what happened suddenly??" "I was... Spruha. I was angry on him! Because we didn't think anything else other than the girl with him. Did we think if he also liked her?? Or was he really in love with her??? She suddenly popped man!!!! We didn't knew anything about her!!! And Spruha!!! You should've spoken!!!! Maybe.... Things might have been different!!! He loves you , you love him!!! You are made for eachother!!!! Please don't let this down.... You need to get things back to normal!!! Meet him , talk with him , ask him your insecurities , ask him all , tell him all!!! Listen to him!!! Spruha... Don't be a fool! Kick your ego aside! I know you can't leave without him!! Aur uske bina iski aur se bhi shaadi nahi karegi!! Hain na!! *Giggles* " prisha said to her friend. A lone tear escaped Spruha's eyes after hearing her words. Her heart sanked hearing some truth from her friend's mouth. It was true!! There were things she should've done at that time..... But she didn't!! And now she was suffering! Spruha let her tears fall let going her agony. Even if she hated him or was angry for what happened.... Deep down , she still loved him!!! Infact she lives him!!! It was a matter of heart!! Which won't be denied!!! _______On a Friday noon , Spruha was walking back from the library. It was her daily routine , she visited library everyday for two hours. Reading gave her peace and immense pleasure. She loved reading books. She was a hopeless romantic [ inspite of whatever bad happened in her love life. ] She would like to surround herself with the fictional world and those intimidating male characters!! Fifty shades of grey , the fault in our stars... Many more books she read. Sometimes she also ordered online books , adding to her collection. On her way back home , she thought of Prisha's words! Her heart ached thinking about him.... Was prisha true!!?? What made her friend talk about him who hated him for  breaking her friend's heart?? Was there another story???Lost in her thoughts , she suddenly bumped into someone. She cursed herself under breath for being careless. She immediately bowed down to help the person. "I'm so sorry! I was just--" and she was in awe the next second as she saw the person standing in front of her. "Nikhil!!!!" She muttered."Spruha!!!" He said."Ohh my god!!! It's you , Nikhil!!!!" She was still shocked to see him.He chuckled at her sentence. "Yess is me!!" They both got up standing. Spruha smiled seeing him. "Ohh my god Nik!!!" She squealed and hugged him tight. He immediately embraced her in his arms. Both remained in the same position for seconds. "How are you cheesy cheeks!!???" He asked as they pulled out the hug. "I'm good!!! I'm so happy to see you back!! How are the you??" She asked as she pecked his right cheek."Me too. Missed you and Priii. I am here for vacation. After this maybe we could shift permanent. What about you??" He asked. "I was in London for four years , after my PG I came back... And now will work in Sanjeevani. You'll be here right??? How many months???" She asked him. "3" he replied. They settled in a nearby cafe talking. Spruha informed home about Nick's meet. "So.... Koi foreigner patai ki nahi??" She asked teasing. "Ladki toh pati! Par indian!" He said smirking. Spruha laughed at him."Natasha Oberoi!" He said. "We were in the same uni. I used to see her often in my campus , then we became friends and then I fell in love with her!!! And 7 years... we are still together! I love her so much!!" He said with so much love in his eyes for Natasha. Spruha smiled seeing her guy bestfriend found his love!!!! Deep down she was sad.... knowing that hers couldn't last! "So lucky!!" She said dreamily , but the sadness in her voice was not left unnoticed by Nikhil. He took her hand in his. "What about you??" He asked. Spruha smiled sadly thinking if she should tell her bestfriend who was happily in love and making him sad by telling her breakup story to him who was here to enjoy. "Nothing." She said as she tried taking her hand away from his grip. But he tightened his hold. "Look here , cheesy cheeks..." He said. Spruha couldn't meet his eyes. Her tears were again betraying her... He squeezed her hand and made her look at him."Varad Malhotra! Is his name , right??" He said making Spruha go all shocked!!! Her eyes widened. "How... How...do you..." And he smirked. "Even if I was away from you doesn't mean I don't know anything about you??" He said smirking. Spruha was shocked by his words , and kept looking at him confused. Realisation dawned her , as she realised the culprit!! "Prishaaaa" she groaned making Nikhil laugh out loud. This time more , until he held his stomach panting. Spruha huffed in annoyance looking at him. She threw a tissue paper on him , angry. He kept laughing which irked her more. "Alright , babygirl just stop....hahaha , woah!!" He said as he tried stopping her. "You dumbass I hate you!?!!" She shouted. "And I love you!" He said laughing. Finally she spent hours telling him her story. They were long lost friends....!!!! And they've finally found eachother... They talked , shared ,laughed.... Did all. Spruha smiled as she remembered her old days. ....However , the two smiling figures were left unaware of the fact that a certain someone on the other side of the glassed window of the cafe was huffing in anger looking at them...⏯️⏯️⏯️
