The doctor took her inside the emergency ward while Akaay also asked to let him also come.. they after sometime allowed him..
Meanwhile outside everyone was asking to ishika and dhruv that how they got late
" Dhruv? Tum gile kese ho gye beta" akaay's mother asked
" Aapka beta hai na badi maa.. pani fek diya mere uper!" Dhruv said making a face
" Acha aur apne kaam nahi bataye tumne? Ki kisliye feka.. acha kiya jiju ne pani fek kr" ishika said and everyone laughed
While inside..the room..
Meera was shouting with pain
While akaay was getting confused what to do and what not...
" Meera mat ro please" akaay said trying to calm her down
" APNI MARZI SE RO RHI HU KYA M?? DARD HO RHA HAI!! ISLEYE RO RAHI" Meera shouted
"Mam please calm down" the doctor said trying to calm down
She cried more and said " M iska bhi sar fod dungi akaay" he hugged her and said
" Bas bas meri jaan sabka sar aaj hi fodogi kya" akaay said trying to calm her down.. making her angry
She pushed him away.. and said "SABSE PEHLE TO TUMHARA HI FODUNGI DEKH LENA!!!" she shouted...
"I'm sorryy.. soryy sorry" akaay said
Meera looked at a nurse and said" aap please iss aadmi ko dhake maarke bahar fek dengi? Agar ye yaha rahe to aaplogo ka nuksan ho jayega.. ye mujhe gussa hi dilate rahenge" the nurse burst into laughed and asked akaay to go outside...
" Arrey nahi wo gusse m keh rhi hai" akaay tried to say but as meera said dhake maarke.. so the nurse throwed him out..
Seeing him coming out everyone asked him what happened...
" Patani kya hora hai.." akaay said sitting down on a nearby chair....
They waited outside.. for some time
Akaay was feeling so scared hearing meera's faint screams...
Akaay paced outside the ward, his eyes fixed on the door as if willing it to open and reveal news of his wife's condition. His family flanked him, their faces etched with concern and anticipation. Meera had been in labor for hours, and the wait was taking its toll. The hospital corridor, once a sterile passageway, had become a threshold to a new chapter in their lives.
Just as the silence was becoming unbearable, a faint wail pierced the air. The sound grew louder, and Akaay's heart skipped a beat. A baby's cry. His baby. Tears came in his eyes and everyone beamed with joy!
" Finally!!!" Tanya and akshara hugged each other in excitement and everyone waited for a doctor or nurse to come out and reveal the gender and tell him the condition of Meera
The atmosphere around them shifted instantly. Tension dissolved into joy, and worried faces broke into warm smiles. Both the family exchanged excited glances, their eyes shining with happiness.
Akaay's gaze remained fixed on the door, his heart racing with anticipation. He took a step forward, as if drawn by an invisible thread to the sound of his child's voice. Suddenly, the door swung open, and a nurse emerged with a warm smile.
" Congratulations!! It's a girl.." the nurse said smiling.. akaay's eyes welled up with tears, His family erupted into cheers and tears, embracing each other in celebration.
" Meera? How's my wife" he asked the nurse worriedly
" She is fine.. you can meet her" the nurse said smiling
With trembling hands, Akaay pushed open the door and stepped into the ward, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude. He couldn't wait to hold his newborn daughter and his wife in his arms..
Meera lay on the bed, radiant and exhausted, cradling their daughter in her arms. The baby's tiny hands were clenched, and her small chest rose and fell with each gentle breath.
Akaay's eyes locked onto his wife and daughter....
He sat beside Meera with tears in his eyes and looked at the small baby girl in her hands..
drinking in every feature. Her petite nose, delicate eyelids, and soft, pink lips. He felt his heart swell with love and pride....
" Ye galat hai" Meera said and pouted..making him confused
" Dekho sari cheeze aapke uper gayi hai mere uper nahi " Meera continued making him chuckled...
" Nahi.. ankhe bilkul tumhari jaisi hai pyari sii" akaay said kissing Meera's forehead
" Acha pakdo to waise to bada keh rhe the ladki hogi ab hui to le bhi nahi rhe hath m" Meera said teasingly...
Akaay looked at little girl for few minutes and then sighed saying
" Bhot chotti si nahi hai? Gir gyi to!" He said being worried and meera burst into laughter
" Ab aap bade hone tak ka.wait kroge?" Meera said controlling her laugh...
" Nahi!!" Akaay said looking at Meera with horror expression..and took her in his arms..
As soon as the little girl came in his arms.. his eyes welled up with tears..
The baby looked at him with her big doe eyes .. and he smiled..
" Haye kitni pyari hai!!" Suddenly they heard dhruv's voice
" Tu yaha bhi aa gya! " Akaay said taking his daughter away from everyone
"Â hello bhaiya!! Hame bhi dikhao na!! Hame bhi dekhna hai!" Tanya said and everyone followed her
" Arrey.. ajeeb log ho.. dur raho baad m dekhlena" akaay said going on the other side ....
" Huh!" Everyone made a faces..
Meera chuckled at the mahabharat going on between everyone and akaay..
" Beta ek baari dekhne to de!" Akaay's mother said
He made a face and said " acha theek hai par sirf dekho.. koi hath m nahi lega"
" Hadh hai! Hamari poti ko hath m lene ke liye ab kya application jama krre?" Akaay's father said making a face
" Application denied" akaay said making meera laugh
"Dhruv jaa kaam pe lag.. mithai baath ke aa poore hospital m!!" Akaay said and dhruv nodded
" Iss chiz ko aap tamiz se keh dete tabh bhi kar deta m bhaiya" dhruv said making a face and everyone laughed..
They distributed sweets in the whole hospital!!
The whole day.. akaay didn't let anyone hold her.... He kept holding and looking at her.. all the time.....
Everyone complained to meera.. and as ofcourse after her scoldings he let everyone hold her...
Meera opened her eyes at night to see akaay sleeping on the sofa holding his newborn daughter in his arms carefully who was also sleeping..
She smiled and thanked to every god for giving her this moment...
A smile came on her lips when she remembered the first night of their wedding she asked God that why? Why this marriage happened?
And today she got her answers of her why....
The starting wasn't but the ending was beautiful....
