A bike suddenly came in front of their car ....

Meera's eyes locked onto Akaay's, her fear mirrored in his gaze. The bike swerved, narrowly avoiding collision, but Akaay's loss of control was evident.

"MEERA, KUDO NICHE! PLEASE!" Akaay yelled, fighting to steady the car.But she refused

The car crashed into the tree with a deafening impact, sending debris flying everywhere.

Flames engulfed the engine, spreading rapidly. The sound of shattering glass and twisting metal filled the air.

Akaay's face was motionless, his eyes closed, as the fire consumed the car.

"Meera!" a faint voice cried out, but it was too late.she went unconscious and he too..

The flames engulfed the car, obscuring everything.

Seconds passed,

Many cars arrived the accident place and dhruv,anirudh,avinash,aniket,ankush, everyone in the family members came out of it.

Emergency services arrived, As they rushed to hospital with meera and akaay.. their hands were still interwined with each other

There were tears,worry and fear in everyone's eyes...

Both were shifted to emergency ward ....

After some time...

Akaay regained consciousness,his head felt like spinning..many bandages were wrapped around his legs,hands ,head and at many injuries points..

As soon as he opened his eyes.. the crying face of his mother came Infront of him..

" a-akaay" his mother called him and hugged him...

Sudden realisation went upon him..

" M-maa m-meer-meera kaha hai? W-wo- theek toh hai na..?" Akaay asked trying to stand but with sudden pressure on the body he felt pain.. and hissed .. dhruv immediately helped him to sit..

Everyone's eyes went blank when akaay's eyes roamed to find his answers

" Boliye! Kaha hai Meera??" Akaay asked as his heart started to beat fastly..

But still no one replied...

"Mat boliye.. m khud jaa rha hu meera ke pass.." akaay said and stood up..this time no one stopped him because they knew he won't stop.

Hissing with pain and with great difficulty he reached out of his room and asked a doctor passing by near about Meera..

" Her operation is still going on and the situation is very critical actually the sharp corner of seat belt pierced in her head.. it can lead her to loss her memory or maybe go in coma.. we will try our best.. excuse me" the doctor said shattering him into pieces...

" N-no.. no.. not again.. i-is baa-ri chord-ke nahi jan-e dunga .. nahi ..nahi Jane..dunga"he whispered to himself and stumbled but dhruv immediately held him..

Though doctors have strictly said he should not give any stress to his body but still he went outside the surgery room and sat there..

His eyes showed no emotions.. blank.. everything was blank... No emotions... But deep down.. his mind and heart was fighting with his soul.....

His innerself was freaking out with fear.. fear of losing her...again.. it's too much to handle for him....too much...

His love was separating from her again and again..he wandered what wrong he did in his past life to get this pain of separation again and again....

After few hours.. finally a doctor came out.. everyone's eyes lit up with hope but seeing the sad face of the doctor something broke in them.. shattered them into pieces........ But their was one person who was completely broke..it was akaay....

Akaay's pov..

No.. she can-t.. she can't go leaving me.. and I k-now she w-ont.. she won't.....

She won't... Suddenly the doctor came out...

His expression showed something else...

No..i-i know.. I don't know anything..s-she is fine.. I know this.. she is.. f-fi-fine.. she is fine...

Nothing can happen to my wife..

I waited for the doctor to say something.. to tell me my meera is fine.. just unconscious nothing else but...

" Actually.. she went in coma" these words said by the doctor rang in my mind.. continuosly.....

Author's pov

Akaay immediately ran to a nearby temple....

The darkness of the night enveloped the temple grounds, the only sound the haunting chime of the temple bells carried by the wind and heavy rain...it was dark everywhere raining heavily which gave its best and hidded akaay's tears... Akaay stood before the majestic stone sculpture of Lord Shiva, his eyes illuminated only by the flickering flames of the diyas scattered around the temple. The wind whipped his hair into a frenzy as he gazed up at the serene face of the deity, his own expression a picture of anguish.

"Kyu...Kyu kar rhe ho aisa ...hn? aur kitni musibate hai hamari life m.. kya bigada hai apka hamne.... jo ye sab pareshaniyan hame hi de rhe ho aap.. agar meri Meera ko kuch hua na toh m nhi jee paunga.. yaad rakhiyega aap.. mar jaunga m uske bina.. mar jaunga..." Akaay said standing infront of the sculpture of lord shiva , his voice was loud and filled with pain... the face of his wife came in front of him.. making him broken more.. he fell on his knees..

The wind howled in response, the bells ringing out in harmony, but Akaay's words hung in the air, unanswered... The sound of the bells were too loud and got mixed with the voice of heavy rain..

"What sin have I committed, to deserve such fate?" Akshay's voice cracked as he spoke, the weight of his troubles bearing down on him.

Akaay's eyes welled up with tears as he thought of Meera.. lying on a bed in coma.... The world seemed to be moving forward, leaving him behind.

"Are you not the Destroyer of sorrows, the Protector of the downtrodden?" Akaay's voice rose, his frustration and despair boiling over. "Why do you turn a deaf ear to my pleas, Mahadev?"

The wind buffeted Akaay, causing him to stumble, but he grasped the railing, his grip tightening as he gazed up at Lord Shiva's unyielding face.....

Suddenly the Bells of the temple started ringing even more loudly..... The rain started flowing over the ground even more heavily the atmosphere seemed to get worsened with time.. like his situation...

Suddenly akaay got a call he wiped his tears and looked at the phone to see ankush calling him..

With a deep sigh he answered the call only to meet with ankush's pannicked voice

"Akaay!!where are you!! Come to the hospital now!!"ankush said pannicking

"K-kya hua??"akaay asked standing up and going back towards hospital

"Tu aa hospital jaldi!!"ankush said and disconnected the call before akaay could ask anything

Upcoming scene/prologue of next chapter:-

" N-no please.. please let me go inside.. w-wo- m-meri baat sun-ti hai..m-mei kahunga to uth jayegi.. please let me go inside" akaay said with a shivering voice as tears rolled down his face...

The doctors tried to made him understand that it's serious... She is losing herself... But he wasn't stopping.. and continuously asking them to let him go inside.. his wife need him...

" Sunti hai wo baat meri! Samjhte kyu nahi ho tum log!!! Mene kaha mere raaste se hatiye.. JANE DO MUJHE ANDAR!!" His patience broke and he end up shouting loudly..
