Xu Zhiyin lowered her head and thought there wasn’t a need to explain to Ji Liunian that she was here to work. “That is my personal matter and it has nothing to do with you.”

Ji Liunian had hurt her so deeply, she didn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore.

Ji Liunian could sense her enmity toward him and knew she was still mad at him for how he had treated her that day. With good intention, he advised, “I just want to tell you that Gu Nantian is a man you can’t afford to mess with. You’d better stay far away from him.”

“He’s not a man I can’t afford to mess with?” He actually meant ‘You are not good enough for a man like Gu Nantian so you’d better stay away from him’ didn’t he?

After all, that was what Chuxia said about her previously!

Ji Liunian looked angry. Xu Zhiyin didn’t know how her relationship with Gu Nantian could bother Ji Liunian. “In my eyes, Gu Nantian is much better than you.”

“Let go of her?” Gu Nantian said sarcastically, “You don’t have to worry about that. I’m keeping her by my side and will definitely treat her a hundred times better than you did.”
