“I’m coming. Two seconds” I shouted at whoever was behind the door.

I took my oven gloves off and ran to the door. I opened the door to see Jaxon standing there.

“Come in” I mumbled and walked back to the kitchen.

I wore the gloves and took the brownies out of the oven.

“What are you doing” Jaxon asked and I turned around.

“Your lucky I could smell you or I would have jumped and then these would have fallen on the floor. And you would have been dead” I said and he smirked and put his hands up

“Sorry?” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“What are you doing here?” I asked putting the tray of brownies on a cooling rack.

“I wanted to know what your thought was. About what we said yesterday” he said sitting down in a stool.

“I’m leaving for New York tomorrow” I said and he nodded

“Okay. I’ll go then” he said standing up

“You don’t have to leave” I exclaimed stopping him.

“Do you want me to leave?” He asked smirking

“No” I muttered sighing and he sat back down.

“Okay” he said taking a brownie and putting it in his mouth

“It might be- never mind” I said as he took it back out.

“I’ll have one later” he mumbled putting it on the counter.

“Jaxon. Do you have a book about 2 mates?” I asked and he shrugged

“We could go back to the pack house and see in the library. My dad had a library and it has a lot of historical books” he said and I nodded

“Let’s go then” I said and he looked at me.

“Like that?” He asked and I rolled my eyes

“You can’t change me Jaxon. If I want to dress like this then I will” I said and he shook his head

“I’m not changing you Bethany. I like you the way you are. I was just talking about your apron. But if you want to go out like that then, come on” he seriously

“Oh shit. Yeah” I muttered and took my apron off.

“Now let’s go” I said and he nodded.

“Where is the library?” I asked following him inside the pack house.

“Good afternoon Alpha” someone said lowering their head to Jaxon.

“Good afternoon. Is something wrong?” Jaxon asked and the guy looked up and stared at me.

“Eyes are here” Jaxon shouted and pushed the guy on the wall.

“Sorry alpha” the guy said looking at the floor as Jaxon put both of his hands around the guy’s neck.

“She’s MINE” Jaxon shouted and I rolled my eyes.

“Jaxon. Leave him alone.” I said and Jaxon snarled in the guy’s face.

“Jaxon” I said quietly, touching his shoulder and he let the guy down and turned to me and hugged me. Tightly.

“Jaxon. Are you okay now?” I asked and he nodded

“I am, baby” he said and I rolled my eyes

“I said no baby business okay?” I questioned

“Okay pumpkin” he mumbled and let me go.

“Pumpkin? Really? Are you okay now? Can we go?” I asked and he nodded

“Yep. Let’s go cherry” he said and I rolled my eyes and nodded.

I followed him upstairs, and to the first floor. We went to the door right at the back, and Jaxon opened it. The whole place was full of books. Obviously.

I am that type of person, that hates reading paper books, but online books, I love.

“Where are we going to start?” I muttered

“There on the left side. Its all about elements, and werewolfs” Jaxon said pointing to a small bookcase

“Let’s start” I said walking closer to it. I looked at all the books and couldn’t find any.

“Oh look there is a book about vampires and werewolfs. Hyb-” Jaxon cut me off by waving a book infront of me.

“I found one. It about mythical creatures” Jaxon said and I rolled my eyes.

“I’m not a mythical creature Jaxon. I’m a werewolf. With an element. Look for a book like that. Or one just about elements” I said rolling my eyes.

“And I have one.” He said showing me another book and I nodded. I followed him to a table and we both sat down.

“So what does it say?” I asked and he rolled his eyes

“I haven’t even opened the book, cherry” he said and I rolled my eyes

“Cheery? Why are you calling me cherry?” I asked and he shrugged

“Well I want to call you something different than what everyone calls you. What about Bella?” He asked and I shook my head

“Bella doesn’t even go with my name. But cherry doesn’t as well. But you can call my cherry” I said shrugging and he nodded.

“The werewolf kind has been around the world for a very long time. A long time ago, the werewolfs and vampires didn’t get along-” he stopped reading

“Jaxon carry on” I mumbled and he nodded

" There would be wars among them all. But that changed, when the first elements were born.

They bought peace into the world. They made peace between werewolfs and vampire, fairies and witches, all type of shape shifters. They changed the world. The defeated the evil hybrid. Hybrid, a mixture of vampire and werewolf. Long ago, hybrids were living against the law.

There were many hybrids. They all become greedy and powerful, that they started attacking all the other shape shifter, vampires, werewolfs. They become greedy. The 4 elemental people, saved the world again.

They worked together to get rid of the hybrids. It is said that there will be a time when evil will return in the form of-”

“Hybrid” I shouted and he looked up at me and shook his head.

“No cherry. It’s not a hybrid” he said and I nodded

“In the form of a anything. You would not know if it’s a werewolf or a vampire, fairies and witches. The most likely is a Warlock. It is said that the Warlock has been hiding for the perfect time. We never know when the perfect time is. The elements will work together to defeat the Warlock. But the Air element will have to-” I cut him off again.

“That’s me. Sorry. Carry on” I mumbled and he smirked and nodded

“But the Air element will have to defeat the warlock again. It is said that the Air element will have the power to defeat the Warlock itself. Even it will cost the Air element life. She will save the werewolf,vampires, fairies race.” Jaxon shut the book

“This is rubbish. You can’t do it alone. If you work together and kill him then why do you have to kill him again. And alone” he shouted slamming his hand on the table.

“Jaxon. It might be true. We don’t know. And Warlock, they don’t die. But of course this one might die. How are we meant to know. Just finish reading” I said holding his hand and he sighed

“Alright” he mumbled sitting back down and opening the book.

“But, it is said that she might live,” Jaxon sighed and closed his eyes

“Jaxon.” I muttered and he nodded and carried on reading

" she will discover new powers. It is also said that there will be a war. Everyone will be together, working together, except the hybrid-” I cut him off

“Why is the hybrid so mean?” I questioned and Jaxon shrugged

“There is only one hybrid left. He is the most powerful hybrid in the world. He is the only one left. It depends on him, if he wants to help or become greedy- I think thats enough” Jaxon said closing the book

“Okay. Does it say when I will be getting powers. And can I take this book with me back to New York?” I asked and he looked at me

“Are you being serious about moving?” He asked and I nodded

“I will come back Jaxon. You can come with me?” I questioned and he shook his head

“Sorry cherry, I can’t. I have a pack to look after, and I won’t be an Alpha if I’m moving away, cherry. This pack is my responsibility.” He said and I nodded

“It’s okay. I better get home and start packing” I said standing up and he nodded

“I’ll drop you off” he said and I shook my head

“No! It’s okay. I want to walk” I said and he shook his head

“I’ll walk with you” he said and I rolled my eyes

“Jaxon,I want to be alone. I want to think about all of this” I said pointing to the book.

“Okay. I’ll see you in the morning. When is your flight?” He asked and I nodded

“Early in the morning at 8.” I said and he nodded

“I’ll be there for 7. Goodbye cherry” Jaxon said seriously and I nodded and waved

“Bye Jaxon” I mumbled and walked out the library.

That is a lot to think about I thought walking downstairs.
