Chapter 8: Chapter 8

Ashton didn’t send me those pictures. Apparently he was really busy.

I am at the park jogging and listening to Ed Sheeran, thinking out loud. I love that song.

“Bethany” I heard faintly behind me and I stopped.

I turned around to see Ryan

“What do you want?” I asked rolling my eyes as he walked closer to me.

“Hey. Alpha would like you to come home. He needs to talk to you” he said and I shook my head

“Are you guys stalking me? Why are you not leaving alone. Why couldn’t he come himself?” I asked crossing my arms

“Because he is busy. His sister has come to visit him. Please follow me” he replied and I sighed and nodded.

“Let’s walk” I mumbled as he pointed to his car, then nodded.

“So he has a sister?” I asked

“Yeah. He has an older sister. She lives with her mate in another pack.” He said and I nodded.

After 5 minutes of walking, we reached the pack house. Ryan and I walked inside and to Jaxon’s office.

Ryan knocked on it, and I rolled my eyes and walked inside to see Jaxon and another girl. I’m guessing it’s his sister from the same eyes and hair colour.

“Hi. I’m Aofie” she said walking towards me.

“Bethany” I said and she nodded

“I’ll leave you guys alone. But Jaxon, behave” she said pointing to him and then walked out with Ryan.

“Bethany” Jaxon nodded to the chair infront of him, and I sat down.

“Why did you call me?” I asked

“Because I want to get to know my mate” he said leaning closer on the table

“Okay..” I mumbled

“Well are you going to talk to me?” He asked

“You have to ask a question for me to answer” I said and he smirked and nodded

“How old are you?” He asked

“20. You?”

“21. Why do you run away from me?” He asked being serious

“Because” I replied

“There must be a reason” he said staring into my eyes

“Are you going to reject me?” I asked and he stood up

“What! No fucking way!” He shouted and I rolled my eyes

“No need to shout. Sit back down” I said and he nodded and sat down.

Already listening to me. This is good I thought

“Why would you think that?” He asked

“Because I already got rejected. Do you have a book about a wolf having two mates?” I asked and he took a deep breath.

“Two mates. You have two mates?” he asked quietly

“Well I did. The beta from my old pack he was my mate. But then he rejected me. And I moved here to find out your my mate as well” I said and he quickly grabbed my hand and put it on his chest, taking deep breaths.

“What are you doing?” I asked awkwardly

“Calming down. You are MINE” he shouted and stood up walking towards me

“What are you doing?” I asked confused looking into his eyes which were all black with red rims around them.

Weird I thought as he leaned down closer to me and trapped me on the chair.

“You are MINE. Do you understand” he asked in a very deep voice.

“Are you his wolf....” I asked leaning back on the chair as he leaned in closer.

“Axel” he and leaned towards my neck and started trailing kisses down my neck.

“I’m sorry” I muttered and kicked him in the balls and he moved back and let out a big shout.

The door opened and Ryan and Kyle walked in.

“Beth calm him down” Ryan said and I shrugged

“I just did. I kicked him in the balls. He was kissing me without my permission” I said and Ryan snickers and Jaxon looked up at him, with a look to say you-are-fucking-dead.

“Ryan” I mumbled and he looked at me.

Now Jaxon is fucking scaring me. I thought as his eyes soften and he closed them.

“That was a fucking good hit. Looks like she doesn’t need to learn how to fight” he mumbled in his normal voice and I sighed.

“Fucking asshole. You scared me. Is that your wolf?” I asked standing up and he followed me.

“Hmm. Why did you kick me?” He asked me, looking at me in pain.

“Well you were kissing me, without my permission. And you were acting creepy” I said and he nodded sighing

“She doesn’t kn-” kyle got cut off by Jaxon glaring at him.

“You two leave” Jaxon said and they both nodded and walked out the room, closing the door behind them.

“What don’t I know?” I asked and Jaxon shook his head

“Nothing. So shall we carry on?” He asked sitting down on his chair

“I ask the questions now” I said sitting back in my chair

“Okay” he nodded

“What’s your favourite food?” I asked

“Pizza. Yours?” He asked

“Well I like pizza too but donuts as well. Chocolate donuts” I said and he nodded

“Will you stay in the pack house?” He asked and I shrugged

“I want to go back to New York.” I said and he leaned back and closed his eyes.

“Is it your wolf? Shall I call Ryan?” I asked and he looked at me quickly

“Why Ryan? Do you like Ryan?” He asked his eyes changing colours.

“Well he is better than kyle- I mean no. I’m going to call them. You scaring me” I mumbled looking at him as his eyes changed back to black.

“YOUR MINE” he shouted walking towards me.

“Look Jaxon. I don’t want to hurt you again. Calm down” I said as he stood infront of me

“I’m not Jaxon baby” he muttered looking down at me.

“Who are..Axel? Calm down please” I said and he just laughed.

“You are mine. Do you understand me?” He asked and I mentally rolled my eyes.

What does mom do to calm dad down? Touch him I thought sighing

I lifted my hand and he stared at it,

“Jaxon” I said quietly touching his cheek and he closed his eyes and leaned into my touch.

“Jaxon?” I asked and he opened his eyes and they were blue again. I quickly removed my hand and coughed

“Can you move a little back?” I asked and he nodded rubbing his neck.

“I’m going to go home” I said standing up as he moved back.

“You will think about it right?” He asked and I was confused.

“About what?” I asked

“Staying in the pack house. With me?” He questioned and I sighed.

“Like I said Jaxon. I want to move back to New York. I was determined to move to California but now. It’s all really confusing me. I just want to go back and stay there. With my family” I said and he nodded

“Bye” he muttered and I rolled my eyes

“So not going to talk to me then?” I asked smirking and he rolled his eyes.

“Goodbye Bethany” he said staring at me.

“Bye Jaxon” I mumbled and walked out the office to see his sister Aofie, walking out the kitchen.

“You guys took a long time in there. Do you want to stay for dinner?” She asked and I shook my head

“No thanks. I need to get back” I said and she nodded and waved.

I walked out the pack house and everyone was staring at me.

“Mommy look. It’s the Luna. She’s here” a little girl said pointing to me.

“Sweetie. Shush” the mom said to her daughter and I shook my head

’It’s okay” I said and carried on walking.

Jaxon told everyone that I am the luna. Wow I thought and started jogging.
