2 years later.( Jaxon’s p.o.v)

“Oliver stop. You’re hurting her!” I yelled trying to get him off Anna.

“I’m sorry daddy. We were only playing” he said standing up and looking at the ground

“I know son. A new episode of thundermans is coming on. Why don’t you and Anna go watch that?” I sighed and he nodded

“Yes dad.” He shouted and held Anna’s hand and walked out of the kitchen.

“Jaxon!” I heard Aoife shout and I turned around to see her walking towards me.

“What did he do now?” I asked and she smiled

“Nothing. I’m making dinner today. What do you want for dinner? I was thinking I make Oliver’s and Anna’s favourites because it is Anna’s last day here?” She asked and I nodded

“So are you guys leaving?” I asked and she nodded

“Yeah. Alex needs me there with him. And he wants his daughter back” she laughed and I nodded

“Okay. I’m just going to be upstairs in my room” I mumbled and walked out the kitchen.

I went inside my room, and to the walk in closet. I pulled out the the white coat and walked towards my bed.

I laid down and pulled the coat closer to me. It still smells like cherry.

It’s been two years since cherry was taken. Oli was sent back to us. And a couple of days later, two big boxes came. There was Cherry’s and James head in both of them. And there was also a note saying your welcome

We tried our best to find cherry or the person who sent the note, but we couldn’t. We tried the supernatural council and everything. It was like everything just disappeared and everyone agreed to it.

I didn’t. Every night I go at night to find cherry myself. I go past my own territory and onto a hill. I try everything, but she’s no where to be seen. It’s like she just disappeared, but I don’t agree to it. I know she’s alive because I can feel the mate bond. But it’s weak. Really weak.

“Daddy” I heard Oliver say coming into the room

“I’m here son. Come here” I mumbled turning around in bed as he climbed it.

“What’s wrong daddy? The thundermans finished. Max was blue” he exclaimed smiling and I chuckled

“That’s good. Come here lay down next to me” I mumbled and pulled him closer to me.

“Daddy, Chloe, she shouted at me today” he whispered and I sighed

“Did you do something bad to her?” I asked and he shook his head

“No daddy. All I did was run into her. I said sorry” he said and I nodded

“I’ll talk to her. Has kyle and Rachel come?” I asked and he shook his head

“Nope” he replied and I nodded and wrapped a arm around him.

“Daddy when is mommy going to come back?” He asked quietly

“Soon son. Soon” I replied and he nodded.

“We can’t tell mommy that we have ice cream before dinner on Saturdays okay?” I said and he nodded

“Yes” he exclaimed.

“Why don’t you go downstairs and play with Anna. She’s leaving today” I said and he shook his head

“I want to go to sleep. I’m tired” he replied and I nodded

“Okay. You go sleep okay. I’ll be right here” I mumbled pulling the covers over us.

“Daddy wake up. Uncle kyle is here” Oliver shouted jumping on the bed and I nodded

“I’m up. Let’s go” I said picking him up

“Superman” he shouted and I chucked running downstairs.

“Auntie Rachel. I missed you” Oliver shouted as I put him down, and he ran and hugged Rachel

“I missed you too Oli. Have you been good for your dad?” She asked picking him up

“Yep. But you can’t tell mommy that we eat ice cream on Saturdays before lunch. Daddy told me not to tell” he whispered into her ear

“Oh wow. You can’t tell then. I bought you something. Go get it from kyle” she said putting him down on the floor and he ran out the living room to the kitchen.

“Jaxon? When are you going to tell him?” She asked and I rolled my eyes

“Tell him what? That his mom is dead? Because she’s not Rachel. You know she’s not and I know she’s not. I can feel it Rachel” I told her

“For two years he hasn’t seen his mom. How many more times are you going to lie to him? He is going to be older, Jaxon. He needs to know” she explained and I shook my head

“He know his mom is alive. And I know she is. That’s it Rachel” I mumbled and walked out the room. I went upstairs to my room to see chloe sat on the bed.

“Alpha how are you today?” She asked crossing her legs

“Chloe you need to leave. Just because you rejected Ryan, does not mean you can flirt with me.” I explained sighing.

“Oh but that’s the whole reason I rejected Ryan. I like you. Your more sexy” she swayed her hips walking towards me.

“STOP!” I used my alpha voice and she stopped infront of me.

“Leave. Right now and don’t you dare do this whole act again. And don’t talk to my son. Don’t look or touch or even shout at my son” I yelled and she walked out the room. I closed the door behind her and leaned on it.

Ever since cherry has gone, chloe rejected Ryan and she’s been after be a lot. I have told her so many times not to do all this but she doesn’t listen.

Because of her Ryan doesn’t talk to me much. It’s just when I call him. Other than that, he doesn’t talk to me. He moved out of the house and to his own house. I told chloe to move back to the pack house and she did.

There was a knock on my door and I opened it to see kyle.

“Oh Hey” I mumbled and he walked inside with Ryan behind him.

“You two? Sort this out. This is annoying” kyle sighed

“Kyle-”

“Kyle-”

I groaned and Ryan chuckled

“Sorry” he mumbled and I nodded

“I’m sorry too Ryan.” I replied and he shook his head

“It’s my fault. I was just jealous because chloe was my mate but she always talked about you, she liked you. And when she rejected me, I thought it was because of you” Ryan mumbled sitting on the bed

“That’s stupid Ryan. I would and never like chloe. I actually hate her. She’s really annoying. And how could you think that it was because of me? That’s stupid. Because you know I wouldn’t dream of being with anyone else than cherry. And I’m not going to cheat on her. She’s my mate” I explained and they both sighed

“Jaxon, bethany- she’s not coming back” kyle said and I shook my head

“She promised to never leave me. I know she’s coming back. I know she is. She loves me so she has to come back!” I shouted

“Jaxon she’s dead!” Kyle shouted and I growled

“That’s your luna your talking about. MY MATE! She’s not dead” I growled knowing my eyes were black.

“Sorry alpha” they both apologised

“LEAVE!” I yelled and they both walked out the room.

“SHE’S ALIVE. I FUCKING KNOW IT!”

“SHE CAN’T LEAVE ME. SHE PROMISED” I shouted punching the wall just as the door opened and Oliver ran in with Rachel behind him.

“Oli come back here. Your dad is a little upset. You can talk to him later” she mumbled not coming into the room and Oliver shook his head

“Daddy. What’s wrong?” He asked quietly and I sighed and laid on the bed

“I can’t give up Oliver. I need to find your mom. I need to find cherry” I mumbled and he laid his head on my chest, Rachel closing the door behind us,when she realised I was calm.

“Daddy, mommy is coming back. You said mommy is just in the stars. She went to get me a star right? So she has to come back and give it to me. And you said mommy is here” he touched my chest and I smiled

“Yeah. She is. I know she’s coming back. It might take a long time. But she will be back. Soon” I mumbled sitting up in bed

“Shall we get pizza?” I asked and he nodded

“Yay!” He shouted and ran out the room.

Oliver is the only reason I am living.
