Jaxon’s p.o.v

I woke up to the voice of a baby crying.

“I’ll get it cherry” I mumbled and opened my eyes to see no one in the room except a little boy with me.

Everything that happened yesterday came back to me.

“I’m here Oliver”I mumbled picking him up.

Me and cherry had decided to name our son, Oliver Dylan Gray.

“Shush” I whispered standing up

“We’re going to go and see mommy today! Don’t worry. You will be okay as soon as you see mommy. Just like me” I whispered rocking him to sleep just as there was a knock on the door.

“Come in” I mumbled and the door opened and it was chloe, Ryan’s mate.

“Morning alpha” she said smiling at me and I nodded

“Is there a reason why you are here?” I asked holding Oliver’s head, gently

“Yes alpha. I just came to see if you needed any help. With the baby. So you can shower or something” she mumbled and I shook my head

“No! Me and Oliver are going to go see Cherry now” I mumbled

“Oliver? That’s what you named him?” She asked and I growled lowly

“Yes. He is my son. Me and cherry decided the name. Leave!” I muttered trying not to shout.

“Yes alpha” she mumbled and walked out the room.

“Let’s go see mommy” I mumbled to him and put him on the bed slowly.

I went to my closet and grabbed one of Cherry’s shawls and went back to Oliver.

I wrapped him inside the shawl and slowly picked him up in my arms. I turned around to see Aoife standing there with Alex, her mate.

“Aoife? When did you come here?” I mumbled sitting on the bed

“Just now Jaxon. Rachel told me about bethany” she said sitting down on the bed next to me and Alex left.

“She’s okay. She’s just sleeping. It was a little to much for her yesterday. I can look after Oliver by myself” I tried to convince myself

“Jaxon. You can’t! Oliver needs breastfeeding and he needs his mom. If you can breastfeed, then you can look after him alone” she said trying to lighten up the mood

“I can give him that milk! The one for new born babies? That one” I said and she stood up sighing

“Jaxon look at yourself. Listen to yourself. It’s a new born baby. It needs extra care.” She screamed and I growled

“Shut up Aoife! Oliver is asleep” I mumbled rocking him and she nodded

“Sorry. I’ll be downstairs in the kitchen. You need to eat!” She said and I rolled my eyes

“I’m not going to eat” I mumbled standing up

“You have to. Give me Oliver and go freshen up” she said extending her arms and I shook my head, pulling Oliver closer to me.

“No! Oliver is not leaving my side. Nobody touches Oliver before cherry. Except me” I mumbled and she nodded and walked out the room.

“Let’s go” I mumbled and walked out the room.

I walked to the room opposite us where cherry was last night. I opened the door to see no one inside.

Kyle get here right now! I mind linked him.

After a couple of minutes, kyle and Ryan walked towards me.

“Where is Cherry?” I asked quietly

“Susan said we had to move luna to the hospital. This room was only made for pregnancy but luna is in coma. So we had to move her to the hospital” Ryan said and I sighed

“She’s asleep. Not in coma” I mumbled and walked away from them. I walked downstairs, ignoring Aoife’s calls, and went outside.

I went to the small hospital we had next to the safe house. I went inside and the receptionist stood up

“Luna is in the first room alpha” she said and I nodded

I walked to the first room and went inside to see an oxygen mask on cherry, with pipes all around her.

“Cherry..” I sighed walking towards the bed and sat on the chair.

“I bought Oliver” I mumbled and laid him down next to cherry.

“Wake up cherry. I can’t do it alone. I can’t breastfeed him cherry. I need you!” I exclaimed and held her hand

“I need you to wake up cherry. We need to live our life again. We still have to get married and then have more kids” she squeezed my finger.

“Wake up cherry. You can do it! Do it for me and Oliver. Oliver needs his mom and I need my cherry back” I tried to get a reaction

“I love you cherry” I mumbled standing up

I removed the oxygen mask, and an alarm starting. I ignored it and kissed cherry.

“Wake up cherry. For me and Oliver. Please baby” I mumbled against her lips as Susan ran into the room with other nurses

“Alpha. She ne-” the heart monitor started beeping

“Rebecca check her pulse. We can’t lose her” Susan shouted and I picked Oliver up

“She squeezed my finger” I blurted out and Susan nodded putting the oxygen mask back on cherry.

“Yes alpha. It just means that she can hear you. Can you please stand outside alpha” she asked checking Cherry’s pulse

“No!” I mumbled as Oliver started crying.

Just then cherry jumped up and fell back down on the bed.

“What’s wrong with her?” I shouted, rocking Oliver

“Rebecca hold her down, take her mask off. We need to inject her!” Susan shouted and cherry gasped, her eyes opening.

“Cherry?” I asked as everyone just looked at her.

“Jaxon?” She mumbled and I sighed in relief

“Oh baby. I missed you so much” I muttered walking towards her.

“Alpha. We need to check luna first” Susan said stopping me

“Remove your hand or I will! Cherry is okay” I growled and she nodded and left the room with everyone else behind her.

I laid Oliver on the bed and he quietened down.

“I missed you so much” I mumbled and crashed my lips on hers.

She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me down closer, so I was hoovering over her.

“I missed you too Jaxon.” She mumbled against my lips as Oliver started crying.

“He hasn’t eaten. He must he hungry!” I muttered getting off the bed as she removed everything from her and sat up slowly.

“Why are you so hyper Jaxon? So worked up? Why?” She asked as she picked up Oliver

“Because you weren’t there to calm me down.” I mumbled and she laughed

“Yeah. You really need to get your anger under control” she muttered as Susan knocked on the door and popped her head in.

“Alpha. May I check luna, now?” She asked and I nodded

“Yeah. Sorry about early” I mumbled as she walked inside.

“No problem alpha” she said smiling and walked towards cherry.

“Good morning luna. How are you feeling?” She asked

“I feel okay. Just a little tired” Cherry replied and Susan nodded

“That’s because you haven’t eaten-”

“I’ll get you something to eat cherry. I’ll be back” I exclaimed and ran out the room
