I opened my eyes to see I was in the middle of a forest.

I was in a forest. I had No idea where I was. I stood up slowly, and stripped out of my clothes and tied them to my ankle.

After a couple of minutes I started running quickly. Lexi said that the pack house is about 3 hours away from where we were.

3 hours of stopping and running we reached the border just to see a pack of wolves running out. They stopped infront of me and I realised it was dad and Jaxon. I ran behind the tree and quickly shifted back. I got dressed and ran back to see everyone standing up and dressed
âCherryâ Jaxon shouted running toward me. He picked me up and spinned me around and held me tightly
âI missed you so much cherry. Donât and I mean it donât ever leave me aloneâ he mumbled breaking the hug and crashing his lips on mine.
He didnât kiss me or anything. He was just still, like he was savoring the moment.
âI-Iâm sorry cherryâ he mumbled against my lips
âItâs okay Jaxonâ I mumbled and hugged him tightly, resting my head on his chest, as he wrapped his arms around me

I looked at Jaxon and leaned closer to his ear

He put me down and I ran ahead of him.
âSee you at home everyoneâ I yelled looking back. I turned back around to see Jaxon standing infront of me, and I bumped into him.

We walked back to the pack house to see mom standing outside.

I was about to walk to my closet when he stopped me and turned me around.

I picked out one of Jaxonâs white shirts and black shorts. I got changed infront Jaxon, who was staring at me.
âNot today Jaxonâ I mumbled pulling the shirt over my head.
âI know cherry. I just want to restâ he said taking his shirt off and his jeans, leaving him in his boxers.
âReally?â I mumbled ignoring my desire and walking towards my bed.
I laid down on the bed as Jaxon closed the curtains, and laid in bed next to me. He wrapped his arm around me and I turned around to look at him.
âIâm sorry I couldnât do anything cherryâ he mumbled and I shook my head
âItâs not your fault Jaxon. It was a little weird though. James, the warlock, said that this was a warning. That I will never expect him and thatâs when he will take me. It could take days, months or yearsâ I said and he tighter his hold on me.
âI promise that he will never take you cherry. I promise that I will protect you and this babyâ Jaxon said running a hand on my stomach.
âYou promise right?â I asked quietly
âI promise cherry.â He said and I nodded
âIâm sorry Jaxon as well. I didnât tell you about me being pregnant. And our baby, it could have died today. And I wouldnât have been and be to do anything. Iâm sorry Iâm useless Jaxonâ I whispered quietly and he shook his head and looked at me.

I knew you couldnât do anything. And it was my responsibility to look after you. But I failed youâ he mumbled leaning closer to me so our lips were only a few inches away

He pecked me a couple of times before sighing
âI want you to rest cherry. Iâll be here. You need to rest. And I promise to get you donuts every week. Chocolate donutsâ He said and I nodded
