Dad had the book in his hand, and went on the stage with mom.

âGood evening everyone. I think everyone understands the situation we are in, from last nightâs email. So I just want to ask a few questions and then you can carry onâ dad said getting everyoneâs attentions, and everyone calmed down.

âOf courseâ everyone shouted and dad smiled slightly
âThank you. We are not aware when this war will be. But I would love if you all came as soon as possible. If we do get a message or anything letting us know when the war is, I will make it my responsibility to let everyone knowâ dad said and everyone nodded.
âThank you for your help. Please do enjoy the eveningâ dad said and walked off the stage with mom.
âHeyâ I heard Lucca say as I walked down the stairs.
âOh. Hey Lucca. How are you? And you havenât even changedâ I said as he held my hand and helped me down.
âIâm good. And thatâs the best thing about being a vampire. You hardly changeâ he said and I rolled my eyes and sat down on the steps.

âNope. Waiting 124 years is hard.â He said and I laughed as Jaxon walked towards me.

I said bye to lucca and took Jaxon inside the pack house. We went to the top floor which belongs to the alphaâs family.
âWhat did you want to tell me?â I asked taking him to my dadâs office and closing the door behind him. This room is soundproof so no one will be able to here us.
âYou can tell me first.â Jaxon said and I nodded
âOkay wait for itâ I mumbled and closed my eyes. I thought really hard of standing on the opposite side of the room.
âHow did you do that cherry?â Jaxon asked and I opened my eyes to see it worked.
âYes. I thought it was only once. But I can do it. Teleportantion Jaxon. I can do itâ I said running back to him and hugged him tightly.
âYes. Iâm really happy Jaxon. If I learn all the other powers as well, iâm sure I can defeat this Warlock by myself. That stupid hybrid doesnât even want to helpâ I said and let him go.

He grabbed my hand and spinned me around so I was looking at him.
âSo you donât like me. You were with lucca and laughing. Do you like him? â He asked his eyes turning black.
âJaxon. I donât like him. Look Ryan and Kyle arenât here to calm you down. So donât go all monster on meâ I said and his eyes stayed black, with red rims.
âSo you fucking like Ryan and Kyle. Unbelievable. After so many years I finally get a mate and she doesnât even like meâ he shouted in a deep voice.
Lexi. Whatâs wrong with Jaxon? I asked
Iâm not sure beth. He is acting weird. She said and I blocked her out as Jaxon started throwing stuff from the desk onto the floor.
âShe doesnât love me. She likes Ryan and Kyle. Iâll kill them. Iâll kill them allâ he shouted and threw the desk around.
âJaxon. Stopâ I shouted but he ignored me.
âDadâ I shouted and remembered that they were all outside.
Dad. Dad? I tried to mindlink but dad had blocked us all out.
" whatâs the point of a mindlinkâ I mumbled as Jaxon threw the bookshelf down.
Powers lexi said to me and I smiled

I tried to make a shield around him, but he was too strong. I tried to push him away with the air around us. But nothing was working on him.
âJaxon. Calm down. Pleaseâ I shouted and he stopped and looked at me

âCan I touch you?â I asked trying to walk closer to him but he shook his head and I stopped
âNo! Donât touch me at allâ he shouted and I nodded and stayed where I was.
âOkay. Carry on breaking things. You will have to pay for themâ I mumbled all nd he turned all nd round and ran a hand threw his hair.
I quickly pulled out my phone and called Ryan. Thank god I have his number
I called his number and after a couple of rings he picked up
âBethany. Heyâ he said and I rolled my eyes as Jaxon turned and round and looked at me.
âRyan. Jaxon is acting like a really bad asshole. What do I have to do. I think its his stupid wolf. And he is walking towards me. Hurry up. He broke everything.â I said and I heard Ryan take a deep breath.
âTry to touch him. Calm him down. We didnât think he would need to injections so we didnât give them to himâ he mumbled to himself as Jaxon took my phone off me
âI will kill you Ryanâ he shouted and I quickly touched his chest.
âJaxon. Please calm down. â I whispered
âI canât. You-â he mumbled taking deep breaths.
âPlease?â I asked and he shook his head.
âIâm tryingâ he muttered and I rolled my eyes. I leaned up on my toes and kissed his cheek.
âNow?â I asked and he smirked
âMaybe I need moreâ he said and I rolled my eye. I looked into his eyes and they were blue again, so I pushed away.
âYou fucking asshole. I hate you. Ughhâ I shouted and he sighed
âI have to leave, Bethanyâ he said and ran out the office.
âReally. Now dadâs going to think I broke all this.â I mumbled looking at the broken desk and bookshelf.

Really scared. What is wrong with Jaxon? His wolf takes a lot of control.
