“Where’s Jaxon?” Mom asked when I went downstairs.

“He went home at night. I think” I mumbled and she nodded.

“Mom. Is there something you guys not telling me?” I asked and she shook her head

“Not that I know of. Why?” She asked and I shrugged

“Because. Look I’m going to tell you something mom. But you have to promise that you can’t tell dad.” I said and she nodded

“Okay” she said

“Jake. He was my mate. But he rejected me. That’s the reason I left” I said and she looked at me shocked.

“I’m going to kill that mother fucker” I heard dad say behind me and I turned around to see dad turning around.

“Dad wait” I said and all of a sudden I was standing infront of dad.

“What? How?..” dad asked confused looking around.

“Did I just ..yes!” I shouted

Lexi I did it. I said and she nodded her big white head

You really wanted to stop your dad. So you did it. I think, it happens when you really want something she said and I mentally nodded

“Bethany. How did you do that?” Dad asked and I sighed.

“That’s what I need to talk about dad. It’s really important” I said and he nodded.

“After I kill that asshole” dad said trying to walk past me but I put a shield around him and he kept hitting a wall.

“Skylar. Look what my own kids are doing to me?” Dad groaned and mom laughed.

“Good work beth. Now Cole. Are you going to listen to bethany?” Mom said walking towards dad.

“Okay fine. But at least get me out of here” dad said and I nodded. I moved my two fingers around and the shield disappeared.

“My office?” Dad asked and I nodded.

We all went to dad’s office, and dad sat down in his chair with mom, and I sat down on the sofa.

“Start from the beginning bethany” mom said and I nodded

So I told my parents how jake rejected me because I wasn’t the alpha’s real daughter. Dad was annoyed but thank god mom was sat next to him.

Then I told them about the book and my new powers, and the Warlock.

“It’s ridiculous. I’m not going to let you kill him alone.” Dad shouted standing up

“Dad. Did you get the part where I have powers? So obviously I can defeat him. All I have to do is find the hybrid. Do you know any?” I asked dad shook his head.

“A hybrid is very hard to find to princess. The hybrid knows that it’s the only one left. So obviously it will only stay as one. Either a wolf or a vampire. We could have a get together, and I will ask all of the alpha’s and the Sire’s to come over” dad said and I nodded.

A Sire is what vampires call their alpha. It’s a way of showing respect and you would call it to your leader. How we call our leader Alpha.

“Okay dad. When is this day?” I asked dad shrugged

“If I call them today then we can do it tomorrow. Do you have that book on you?” Dad asked and I nodded

“I’ll bring it for you. It’s upstairs in my room.” I said standing up and dad nodded just as someone knocked on the door.

Dad told them to come in and it was Jake. Really I thought as dad stood up

“It’s good your here. I have to say something to you” dad said and jake nodded

“Yes alpha?” Jake asked

“I Alpha, Cole Damien, remove you, Jake Mason, from the Beta title” dad said and jake moved back.

“Alpha why? I have been waiting for this day, for a very long time. You can’t do this to me” Jake said and dad shook his head

“Don’t tell me what to do, jake. Remember I am still the alpha. And why am I doing this? Really is that a fucking question to ask? You know what you did to bethany. Your lucky I don’t throw you out of this pack or kill you” dad shouted and mom held his hand.

“But that’s unfair. Your picking sides.” Jake said and dad growled

“I am your Alpha. You will not talk to me like that. And bethany is my daughter. I will always be on her side. Asshole” dad shouted and jake nodded and walked out the room.

“I’ll go get that book” I mumbled as mom helped dad to calm down.

I walked out the office and was on the stairs when jake stopped me.

“Are you happy now? Are you fucking happy?” He said as I reached the top step

“Move out of my way jake” I said and he shook his head. He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside my room. He pushed me onto the door and grabbed my chin, tightly.

“Why? I will get you back for this bitch” he sneered and I rolled my eyes

“Asshole. Stupid asshole” I mumbled and put my hand out,but he grabbed both of them and pushed them onto the door.

“What? Thought I was stupid.” He said smirking and I nodded

“Yep. Really stupid” I said and teleported myself to the other side of the room.

“What?..” Jake said looking around and then looked at me.

“Like I said jake. You are stupid. And if you don’t leave me alone. I will tell mom to burn you” I said and he smirked

“Remember what I said, I will get you back for this” he said and walked out the room.

Yeah Yeah. Try to do something at least I thought grabbing the book.
