“Mom can we get a pizza?” Daniel asked and I agreed.

“Yes. I think a pizza will sort me out. Please” I said doing a puppy face just as dad walked into the kitchen

“You can’t have pizza for breakfast, kids. Eat your pancakes and then get to school” mom said to Daniel and he rolled his eyes

“I have no school. It’s holidays. And mom bethany wants pizza as well. She’s sick, your going to feel better if you eat pizza right?” He asked me and I nodded

“Yep. A lot better” I mumbled and put my head down on the counter.

“Go order us some pizza” dad said to Ashton and he nodded walking out the kitchen.

“Thank you dad” I mumbled still not looking up.

“I think she needs donuts as well. Right bethany?” Daniel asked me and I nodded

“Hmm” I replied looking up at him who was smirking.

“Shall I go get some dad. Bethany needs it” Daniel said and dad looked at me.

“Do you really want donuts? It’s only 11” dad asked and I nodded

“Yes please. I want chocolate donuts” I mumbled and dad nodded just as his eyes glazed over.

“Go get it for your sister. I’ll be back in a second” dad said handing him money and walked out the kitchen, with mom behind him.

“How come dad gets you everything?” Lucy asked me sighing

“I don’t know. But dad will get you everything as well. He does right?” I asked and Lucy nodded

“Yep. I love dad” she said and carried on eating her pancakes just as Daniel came into the kitchen.

“They sold out of chocolate donuts. But they had jam donuts” he said showing me a bag.

“You went that fast?” I questioned and he nodded

“Remember. Wolf” he said and I rolled my eyes

“I’ll just go by myself” I said standing up.

I walked out the kitchen and to the door. I opened it to see Jaxon just about to ring the door bell.

“Am I dreaming?” I mumbled as he hugged me tightly.

“Cherry..” he whispered

“Jaxon...what are you doing here?” I asked letting him hug me.

I need it

“I came to see you” he mumbled sniffing my neck.

“That’s a little disturbing- never mind” I mumbled as he tightened his hold on me.

“You can let me go now Jaxon. People are staring” I said looking at everyone outside, who were staring and pointing.

“A few more minutes” he muttered and I shook my head and removed his arms.

“Why did you really come here?” I asked and he smiled

“To see you cherry. I missed you” he said and I rolled my eyes

“I didn’t miss you” I said letting him in and closing the door behind him.

“Whatever you say” he replied just as dad walked out of his office, in full alpha mode.

“Alpha Gray. You’re here unannounced” dad said walking towards Jaxon.

“I apologise alpha Damien. But I came to see my mate, your daughter” Jaxon said holding my hand and dad nodded.

“That’s the reason why I let you in. Follow me. I think we need to have a word” dad said and I rolled my eyes

“Really dad” I said

“Cherry..”

“Bethany..”

“After you sir” Jaxon said and dad nodded and went back inside his office.

“I’ll be back cherry. Don’t miss me too much” Jaxon said smirking at me and I rolled my eyes

“I won’t miss you at all” I said and he nodded and followed dad inside the office.

“So that’s your mate?” Mom asked walking out the living room.

“Yeah. His name is Jaxon” I said smiling slightly at mom and she nodded

“Have you changed your idea about having a mate?” Mom asked and I shrugged

“Maybe” I said just as the door opened and Ashton walked inside with three pizza boxes.

“Did you get a tuna and sweetcorn and a margarita?” I asked and he nodded

“Yep. Who came?” Ashton asked closing the door behind him.

“Bethany’s mate” mom said excitedly and I rolled my eyes.

“Where is here?” Ashton asked just as dad and Jaxon walked out the office.

“This is my wife, skylar, my mate. And this is my son, Ashton” dad said to Jaxon and he nodded

“Good morning” he said to mom kissing her hand just as dad growled lowly and Jaxon let go.

Is he really old?

“Hi” Jaxon said instead.

“Hey” Ashton said and walked to the kitchen with me behind him.

“Cherry?” Jaxon said following me.

“Oh yeah. This is Lucy and this is Blake. And the one, eating is Daniel” I said pointing to my siblings.

“No. Cherry I got you something” Jaxon said and handed me a bag of chocolate donuts.

“Yes. Oh god. Thank you.” I said and he smirked and sat down on a stool.

“She’s gets spoiled by dad and now you? Wow. Your so lucky beth” Ashton said and I smiled

“Yep. I need to meet layla and Kevin.” I said standing up and grabbed two slices of pizza.

“Layla and Kevin ” Jaxon asked grabbing my hand.

“Her mate. My best friends. Here. Let’s go” I said handing him a pizza and removing his hand.

“Weren’t you sick?” Daniel asked and I smiled

“I’m okay now” I said and pulled Jaxon out of the kitchen.

“Cherry. You were sick? Are you okay now?” Jaxon asked worried and stopping me

“I’m okay now Jaxon.” I said and he nodded and held my hand

We walked out the house while eating pizza, and to the pack house where layla and Kevin were walking out the kitchen.

“Bethany. Oh my god. I missed you so much” layla shouted running to me and hugged me tightly.

“I missed you too, layla. Hi Kevin” I said waving at him and he smiled

“Hey beth. How was your trip?” He asked as layla let me go.

“It was good. This is Jaxon, Alpha of the Silver moon pack” I said and Jaxon coughed

“And her mate” he said and layla squeaked

“Omg. Finally” she said and I rolled my eyes

“Well we have to go. I’ll see you guys later” I said and pulled Jaxon out of the pack house.

“Was that your friends?” He asked and I nodded

“Yep. I had another one as well- lets just forgot about him. Do you have any friends?” I asked walking to the clearing

“Of course I do cherry. Kyle and Ryan are my best friends” he said looking around and I nodded.

“I know them lot. This is my favourite spot. Do you have a favourite spot?” I asked sitting down on the log and he nodded

“Yep. My favourite spot is my room.” He said and I rolled my eyes.

“Obviously” I said just as Jake walked out of the forest, towards me.

“Beth..who is this?” He asked getting angry

“Go away Jake” I said as Jaxon stood up

“I am her mate” Jaxon said and jake rolled his eyes.

“I am her mate” Jake said and I stood up

“Your not my mate, jake. You rejected me. Now leave or I’ll make sure you don’t get the beta job” I said and he cursed.

“Don’t think this is over beth. I will get you back” he said and walked away.

“So that asshole is the guy who rejected you. I’m happy he did. Because your mine” Jaxon said leaning down towards me.

“Shall we go back home and finish the book” I said and he moved back and nodded

“Yeah” he said and we walked out the forest. We went to our house and to my room.

“Nice room” Jaxon said as I closed the door.

“Thanks. The book is on my table” I said and he nodded and grabbed the book.

We both sat on my bed and Jaxon opened the book.

“We we’re on the part of, the hybrid helping us or not” I said and Jaxon nodded.

“Well- it is the hybrids choice if he wants to help. Long time ago hybrids were evil. But now that there is only one hybrid left, we have come to a conclusion that he is not evil. The air element will have to look for the hybrid and if he wants to help, he will be part of the war. The hybrid is and will help the air element kill the Warlock.”

“So I have to find the hybrid?” I asked and Jaxon nodded

“Let me finish. It’s about your new powers” he said and I nodded

“Does it say when I get all these powers?” I asked and he nodded

“Yeah. At the age of 20” he said and I shook my head it

“It can’t be, because I am 20-ahhh” I shouted holding my head and Jaxon turned to me and held my hand.

“Cherry. What’s wrong?” He asked worried and I laughed.

“Nothing. I was joking” I replied laughing and Jaxon let me go and sat on the edge of the bed.

“That’s not cool cherry” he mumbled not looking at me.

“It was funny” I said sitting down next to him and he didn’t reply.

“Oh really? Your not going to talk to me? Okay fine” I said and stood up

I was about to walk away when he grabbed my hand and pulled me backwards so I fell on his lap.

“I was only joking cherry” he said smirking and I rolled my eyes.

“When are you leaving?” I asked

“Today. I have to go back” he said and I nodded

“When are you coming back?” He asked and I shrugged

“Maybe tomorrow. Or in a week. Not really sure. I have to ask dad for help. I mean I need to tell dad about this whole thing” I said and he nodded

“Okay” he said and held my waist and threw me on the bed.

“What the hell Jaxon. You could have warned me” I said as he took his shoes off and laid down next to me.

“May I?” He asked and I nodded. He put his arm around me and pulled the cover over us.

“Just lay down cherry. I just want to stay like this” he said closing his eyes and pulled me closer.

“Goodnight cherry” he whispered

“It’s not night but okay. Night Jaxon” I replied and he chuckled
