I woke up to something touching my forehead.

“Morning cherry” I heard Jaxon say and I smiled

“Morning” I replied not opening my eyes.

“It’s 7” he said running a hand threw my hair and I nodded

“Okay.” I mumbled and he chuckled

“So your not leaving?” He asked with a hint of hope

“Nope. My flight is at 12” I said opening my eyes to look at him.

“Well we have a few hours together. You have packed your bags right?” He asked and I shook my head, and sat up in bed

“No. I was so tired yesterday, I couldn’t be bothered” I said and he nodded and stood up

“You get dressed. And I’ll make something for you.” He said and I nodded

It was 10 o’clock and Jaxon was helping me pack.

“Jaxon. Are you hiding something from me?” I asked folding a shirt and putting it in my suitcase.

Jaxon froze and turned around.

“No why?” He asked and I sighed

“Well remember that day when you were acting creepy? And Kyle said ‘you haven’t told her’. What did that mean?” I asked sitting on the bed and he sighed

“You won’t understand” he said sighing

“All you have to do, is say it” I replied and he shook his head

" It’s not that easy bethany, I said you don’t understand” he muttered

“Then make me understand Jaxon. It must be serious. Tell me” I shouted and he walked towards me and crashed his lips on mine.

Fireworks. Cliché as fuck I thought as he laid me down and hoovered over me, without breaking the kiss.

I kissed him back and he groaned in approval.

“Cherry?” He said breaking the kissing and looking at me

“Yes?” I asked

“I’m sorry, I can’t tell you” he mumbled and I rolled my eyes and pushed him off me.

“I have a flight to get to” I mumbled and carried on packing

“Cherry. I’m being serious. You won’t understand me. Nobody does” he said standing up

“If you don’t trust me then fine Jaxon. I don’t care. Nobody trusts me as well. But I am giving you a chance. Lexi wants me to give you a chance and I am. I’m trying my best here but you? You can’t even trust me” I shouted throwing a pair of jeans in the suitcase.

“I do trust you cherry. I trust you more than anything. Your my mate” he said walking closer to me and I shook my head

“Is that how Mates are then? Lying to me? You know what? I don’t care if you want to tell me or not. ” I said closing the suitcase.

“Cherry..” Jaxon mumbled and I shook my head

“I have to go” I said grabbing both of my suitcases. He walked towards me to take the suitcases off me but I shook my head.

“I got them” I said and he rolled his eyes and took them off me

“I got it cherry” he muttered and walked downstairs.

“Bye” I mumbled to Jaxon as he dropped me off at the airport.

“Your coming back home right?” He asked and I shook my head

“I am going home” I mumbled and got out the car and Jaxon followed me.

“Cherry wait. Here” he said handing me the book.

“Thanks” I mumbled.

I took both the suitcases with me and went inside.

The flight took a long time to get there. And I hated it. I grabbed my bags and walked outside to see Dad and Jake standing there.

I miss Axel lexi said to me and I mentally rolled my eyes

Lexi. You promised. I replied

But- I cut her off as dad saw me and I walked toward them.

“I knew you would be back. I missed you so much princess” dad said hugging me tightly.

“I missed you too dad.” I mumbled feeling pain in my heart.

It’s because you miss Jaxon lexi said and I mentally rolled my eyes

“Let’s go. Your mom bought Chinese” dad said letting me go and I nodded.

Jake grabbed my suitcases and I sat inside the car

We got to the pack house and I went inside our house to see everyone standing there.

“Yes. I win. I told you she will be back less than 2 weeks” Blake said to Lucy

“But she found her mate. So I thought she will stay. Here” Lucy replied handing him 10 dollars.

“Nice to see you guys as well” I said and they ran and hugged me.

“It was Lucy’s idea” Blake said letting me go and I nodded

“It doesn’t matter. As long as you won” I said to Blake and he nodded and they both ran out the room.

“Where are Ashton and Daniel?” I asked mom

“They’re in the kitchen. How was California? Has your mate come with you?” Mom asked and I shook my head

“It was good. And no. He had to stay for some business” I lied and she nodded.

“It’s late. Why don’t you eat and go to sleep?” Mom said and I nodded

“Yeah. I really do need to eat. I’ll go get changed and come back” I said running upstairs to my room. I went inside to see Jake pacing around.

“Get out Jake” I said and he turned to me.

“I can smell someone on you. A guy. What the fuck have you been doing?” He said angrily, walking towards me.

“Shut up asshole. Your not my mate okay. Get out or I will use my power on you” I said and he rolled his eyes and walked out the room.

I fell on the bed and sighed.

“What the hell is wrong with me” I mumbled putting a hand on my chest.

You feel it? It’s because your far away from your mate. You’re not close to him. You’re missing Jaxon lexi said and blocked me out.

Shut up lexi. I don’t miss Jaxon. I thought scoffing
