Chapter 645
Love After Divorce by BELLA
Chapter 645:
Stella and Emily cleaned up the kitchen, leaving some food for Seventeen and Alicia. Seventeen sat by the bed and looked at Alicia, feeling that she was very familiar to him, but he just couldnât remember why.
âSeventeen... Seventeen...â Alicia murmured as if caught in a nightmare, clutching wildly at the air while calling out Seventeenâs name. Seventeen reached out and held Aliciaâs hand, and she immediately quieted down, though tears fell from the corners of her eyes.
Seventeen wiped the tears from Aliciaâs cheeks with his other hand. He didnât understand why his heart ached when he saw her cry.
âDarling, since Uncle Seventeen has found someone important to him, he wonât be with us,â Adrian said, grabbing Stellaâs hand.
He was reluctant to part with Seventeen.
Stella touched Adrianâs head but didnât respond. She didnât know how to answer his question. Adrian stood up, released Stellaâs hand, and went back to his room.
âRK, what about Little Rian?â Stella looked at RK, worried about Adrian.
âItâs okay. Little Rian will figure it out,â RK reassured her, holding Stella in his arms.
The door to Stellaâs room opened, and Seventeen emerged, holding Alicia. Stella stood up, watching Seventeen with a selfish motiveâshe didnât want him to leave, knowing that it would make Adrian sad.
Seventeen helped Alicia sit down. Adrian must have heard their voices and come out of his room. It seemed like nothing had happened, but if you looked closely, you would see that Adrianâs eyes were red. He walked over to Seventeen and sat directly next to him, holding his arm.
Seventeen rubbed Adrianâs head. He didnât know why Adrian was upset, but he wanted to comfort him.
âSister Alicia, can you tell the story about you and Uncle Seventeen?â Adrian looked at Alicia and asked, eager to learn why Seventeen had lost his memory. He wanted to help Seventeen regain it.
Alicia nodded. âI remember three years ago, Seventeen came to the country to look for me, but I didnât expect to lose him that year.â Alicia seemed to recall something, and tears fell down her cheeks.

Alicia smiled at Seventeen, took the tissues, wiped her tears, and fell into her memories.
âMr. Seventeen, why are you here?â At that time, Alicia didnât expect to see Seventeen as soon as she opened the door. She happily threw herself into his arms. âI must catch up with you!â
Seventeen looked at Alicia, his face breaking into a smile. Alicia brought Seventeen into the house. Alice, who had followed Seventeen, couldnât accept that her cousin and Seventeen knew each otherâthey looked so familiar.
That day, Seventeen had gone out, leaving Alicia alone at home. When she heard someone knocking on the door, she went to open it.
âCousin?â Alicia didnât believe it was Alice. She wasnât familiar with Alice, and although they were cousins, they had little contact.
âCousin, I came to play. I heard my uncle say you were here, so I asked for your address. You donât mind if I come here directly, do you?â Alice asked with a smile.
âNo, come in and have a seat,â Alicia replied, knowing that her father probably hadnât told Alice that she lived there, but she didnât expose Alice.
After Alice entered the room, she looked at all the decorations. When she went into the bathroom, she noticed two sets of toiletries and thought of Seventeen.
âCousin, I plan to stay here for a while, but I donât want to stay in a hotel all the time. Can I live with you?â Alice asked while watching Alicia pour water.
Hearing Aliceâs words, Aliciaâs hands trembled, spilling water onto the table. She quickly put down the kettle and grabbed a rag to wipe the table.
Alice didnât miss a single detail as she observed Aliciaâs face. Just as she wanted to say something, the sound of the door opening interrupted them.
When Seventeen returned home, he expected a stranger to be there.
âMr. Seventeen, youâre back!â Alicia set down what she was holding and walked over to Seventeen to help him take off his coat and hang it up.
âCousin, who is he?â Alice asked, looking at Alicia. She didnât know him and wanted to know what Alicia would say.
âCousin, this is Seventeen, my boyfriend. Seventeen, she is my cousin,â Alicia said, looking at Seventeen.
Seventeen rubbed Aliciaâs head and remained silent, not even glancing at Alice.
âAlicia, youâre still young, but you already have a boyfriend?â Alice guessed that Seventeen and Alicia were romantically involved, but when she heard Aliciaâs answer, she still thought it was impossible.
Alicia pursed her lips and didnât say anything, but in her heart, she thought that if Alice didnât say it, her father wouldnât know.
âCousin, I only have one bedroom. If you want to stay here for a while, I can rent a house for you,â Alicia thought, finding her cousin even more annoying. It was none of her business whether she had a boyfriend or not.
âDid you live together?â Alice asked, not pleased to hear that Alicia had tried to drive her away.
âYes.â Alicia held Seventeenâs arm and nodded.
Though Alice had guessed it, she felt inexplicably angry when she heard Aliciaâs confirmation.
Alice approached Seventeen, who raised his head to look at her.
âHello, we meet again. So your name is Seventeen,â Alice said, extending her hand toward him.
Seventeen remained expressionless and didnât take her hand.
âSeventeen, do you know my cousin?â Alicia looked at Seventeen and asked, curious why he hadnât told her.
âI donât know how,â Seventeen replied. Although he seemed to have some impression of Alice, he didnât really know her.
Aliceâs hand remained outstretched, but Seventeen didnât seem to see it. Alice awkwardly withdrew her hand.
Alice looked at Alicia and sensed there was something Seventeen didnât want to share at that moment.
