“You have an appointment with someone. I can’t eat here. I will go out and eat,” Stella said immediately when she heard RK’s words.

“It’s okay. Just eat here,” RK replied, stopping Stella, who was about to stand up. He didn’t want her to leave. He had noticed that Stella didn’t eat much every day, so he felt he had to watch her finish her meal.

Stella was about to say something when someone opened the door and entered, causing her to immediately shut her mouth.

The man who pushed open the door saw RK inside with a woman and looked directly at RK, wanting to know who she was.

“Hello, Chairman Edward,” RK said immediately, standing up and stretching his hand out when he saw the man. Stella also stood up and nodded to Edward with a smile.

The man RK called Chairman Edward reached out to shake RK’s hand.

After Daniel Edward sat down, RK followed suit and took a seat as well. Seeing that both of them were settled, Stella also sat down.

“Rene, aren’t you going to introduce her to Uncle Edward?” Edward smiled at Stella, who was sitting next to RK.

“Hello, I’m Stella, President Kingston’s secretary.” Without waiting for RK’s introduction, Stella immediately stated her name. She even mentioned that she was RK’s secretary because she was afraid RK might say something awkward.

Hearing Stella’s words, RK raised his brows and looked at her, thinking, When did I have a secretary named Stella? “Oh, hello.”

It was clear that Edward didn’t believe Stella’s words, but he also didn’t expose her.

It didn’t take long for RK’s actions to reveal Stella’s lie. When she realized this, she wanted to find a hole in the ground to hide in.

She had claimed to be his secretary, but no secretary would eat while the boss was discussing business.

RK acted as if nothing had happened; he took the noodles from the waiter and placed them in front of Stella.

Edward’s smile widened at RK’s serious actions.

Stella smiled awkwardly at Edward and lowered her head to look at the noodles in front of her. She didn’t know whether to eat them or not.

Stella picked up her fork and took a mouthful after another, feeling embarrassed and not really tasting the food.

“Rene, how are your parents doing? I haven’t been in touch with them for a long time. I miss them a little!” Edward began chatting with RK, not looking at Stella.

“My parents are fine,” RK replied with a smile, but he kept an eye on whether Stella was enjoying her meal. “Well, that’s good.”

Edward took a sip of coffee in front of him and nodded.

“By the way, I read the news two days ago and saw Ruben. I didn’t expect him to be so handsome now. I haven’t seen him in a long time and miss him a lot,” Edward reminisced about how lively Ruben was and smiled.

“I’ll ask my brother to visit you someday. He just returned to the country and has been listening to my nagging every day. But he’s too busy to find time to visit you,” RK said without blushing.

If Ruben were there, he would say that RK was being too scheming. He wasn’t busy at all; he was just being bullied by RK!

Edward nodded and then looked at Stella, saying to RK, “I remember that you have a son named Adrian, right? If you have time, take him to your house and let your uncle see him.” When Edward mentioned Adrian, he had been watching Stella’s expression closely, wanting to see how she would react to learning that RK had a child.

However, Edward’s plan backfired. Stella heard Edward’s words but didn’t react at all. For her, the only thing that mattered was that Adrian was safe. She just wanted him to be by her side all the time, that was all. She didn’t care who RK and Adrian met.

RK also looked at Stella when he heard Edward’s words. He realized that Stella was still eating without showing any emotion on her face.

“Okay, then I will ask little Rian’s mother. After all, I have some conflicts with his mother now. She doesn’t know who you are,” RK said to Edward, looking embarrassed, but it was all a facade. He simply wanted to see Stella’s reaction to his words.

After hearing RK’s words, Stella paused for a moment but quickly returned to normal within three seconds.

“Alas, that uncle has to talk about you. When you got married, your parents didn’t know about it. I wasn’t at home at that time, and you also hid it from me. Later, you got divorced just like that.

You should know that women have to be coaxed. Husbands and wives often quarrel, but uncle still wants to see your wife,”

Edward sighed and said a lot. He didn’t notice Stella’s expression at all.

“Yes, you are right, uncle. I will try my best to coax her,” RK said, looking at Edward with a smile.

After Stella finished her meal, RK accompanied Edward out.

“Stella, Uncle Edward said he wanted me to coax you.”
