“Stella, do you think we need to go in?” Emily held Stella’s arm, still hesitant to enter.

“Stella, didn’t RK ask Ruben to work for him? Isn’t he resting? What’s wrong?” Emily looked at Stella in confusion.

The receptionist opened the door for Stella and Emily and then left. She had some big news to share with others; otherwise, she couldn’t handle it alone.

Stella and Emily entered the office and saw RK reading a document at his desk.

Stella frowned and didn’t speak first.

When Emily saw that RK was alone and Ruben wasn’t there, she relaxed and felt no fear. She walked to the sofa and sat down.

“Didn’t you tell me that I could report directly to the personnel department?” Stella frowned and looked at RK, who had raised his head.

“I was worried that the personnel department wouldn’t make good arrangements, so I changed my mind.” RK looked at Stella as if he hadn’t done anything wrong, but rather something good, waiting for her to praise him.

Ruben pushed open the door to RK’s office and saw Stella and Emily sitting there.

Ruben smiled at Stella, and when he saw Emily, he felt even happier.

When RK’s secretary entered to deliver the coffee, she sensed the awkward atmosphere in the office and wanted to leave.

However, with the coffee in her hand, she could only smile gently and walk in.

After delivering the coffee, she left the office immediately, feeling that the atmosphere inside was too tense.
