Chapter 602
Love After Divorce by BELLA
Chapter 600:
RK walked in carrying Adrian in his arms, followed by Stella. To be honest, Stella didnât understand why Emily was so insistent.
She could sense that Emily wanted to accept Ruben, but if it was just a small amount of perseverance, it didnât seem like Emilyâs style. Stella had always felt that Emily was someone who dared to love and hate.
Ruben sighed and bent down to pick up Princess Emily. âGo to work at RK Group.â
RK and Stella stood by the window, gazing at the night sky outside. When RK spoke, he said, âI know what you are thinking about. I wonât disturb you.â
RK understood what Stella was worried about. Although he wanted Stella not to work and to be cared for by him, he knew that wasnât the life she desired.
âThank you,â Stella replied. After finishing her words, she turned around and left. She still had no way to overcome the hurdle in her heart.
RK watched Stellaâs back and clasped his hands together, suddenly feeling that the road to pursuing his wife was still too long.
However, it was a good thing that Stella had promised to work at the RK Group. This way, he could at least see Stella every day, and he could also get her to see him. This would allow him to catch up to her as soon as possible!
Lying on the bed, Stella thought of RK. To be honest, she had already forgiven him, but she didnât think it was possible for her to be with him again.
Stella thought of Tristan and wondered how he was doing. Since he had received that call and left in a hurry, he hadnât contacted her yet.
Stella touched Adrianâs head and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.
Ruben looked at Emily, who was sleeping. To be honest, he wanted to make a living directly, so that Emily could not refuse him.
But thinking of Emilyâs character, he knew that if he did that, she wouldnât be with him even if she liked him.
Sigh... why donât you like me? Ruben propped his chin on his hand, gazing at the sleeping Emily, unable to figure it out. I have a good appearance, a good figure, and Iâm smart. Why donât you like me?
Rubenâs words reached Emilyâs ears. She almost couldnât hold back her laughter and quickly turned over, fearing she would burst out laughing otherwise.
Åãâ â¬$t ¢âαÏŧÑÑÅ 1Ï [dot]com To be honest, she had woken up when Ruben picked her up from the car; she just didnât want to make things awkward, so she pretended to be asleep.
She thought that Ruben would leave after sending her back to her room, but he didnât. Instead, he sat down beside her bed and muttered to himself.
Emily considered what Ruben had just said. To be honest, she wanted to tell him that she would not accept him, no matter how handsome, tall, or smart he was. Deep down, she didnât know what was holding her back.
There was always a voice in her heart telling her that she couldnât be with Ruben; otherwise, she would surely regret it in the future. But she didnât know what she would regret.
Ruben walked out of Emilyâs room and saw RK standing by the window. He walked over to RKâs side and stood with him.
âStella agreed to work at the RK Group. My vacation is over, and you can do whatever you want. I wonât stop you from going back to work as a superstar,â RK said, looking at Ruben. To be honest, he wanted to see Rubenâs reaction.
Indeed, Rubenâs expression didnât look very good upon hearing RKâs words. Did he think that now, after RK had used him, he wanted to throw him aside?
âForget it!â Ruben glared at RK and gritted his teeth as he spoke, word by word.
âIt doesnât matter. The company is so big; thereâs no lack of a vice presidentâs office,â RK replied, returning to Adrianâs bedroom without caring whether Ruben had a place to sleep.
Ruben watched RK leave, suddenly feeling that his brother was of no use to him. He stretched his arms and went to sit on the sofa. Without a bed, he could only sleep on the sofa. He didnât want to drive back to the RK Mansion in the middle of the night;
he would rather sleep on the sofa!
The next day, Stella was the first to get up. As soon as she came out, she saw Ruben sleeping on the sofa. Because the sofa was too small, he couldnât fit comfortably. He was only covering himself with a coat that was about to fall to the ground.
Just as Stella was about to put Rubenâs coat back on him, she heard the sound of a door opening from Emilyâs room. Stella reacted quickly and hid in a place where Emily couldnât see her.
As soon as Emily came out and saw Ruben, she stopped walking. Finally, she sighed helplessly, walked to Rubenâs side, and helped him cover himself with the coat.
Stella watched Emilyâs every move, unsure of what to say.
To be honest, she wanted Emily and Ruben to be together. She felt that if they were together, they would certainly not be bored.
Sometimes, Ruben gave her a strange feeling, but Stella believed that since he was RKâs older brother, he would not be inferior to RK. It was just that the two of them had made different choices.
Stella knew that she couldnât help Emily make a decision, so Emily had to figure it out for herself.
