Chapter 414

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 414 Had Learned Piano

So, had Cordelia seen through him a long time ago?

So, Elijah vowed. "No, don't worry. I just want to stay with you before

you leave."

Cordelia was stunned.

Because she concealed her actual whereabouts from him, Cordelia felt

somewhat guilty.

So, she said, "Alright, then I'll stay in the room you prepared for me

tonight.”

Elijah immediately grinned, showing his white teeth.

He rarely smiled like this, which made Cordelia couldn't help but think

that he looked pretty handsome when he smiled like this.

Afterward, Cordelia, led by Elijah, arrived at the bedroom illuminated by

the direct sunlight he had mentioned.

This bedroom had direct access to a sunroom where one could admire

the stars at night and grow various plants.

Cordelia looked at Elijah strangely. "What were you thinking when you

were decorating this room?”

Elijah leaned lazily against the wall, staring at her.

"I thought if one day you get tired and want to live a life isolated from

the world without the need to search for a comfortable place

everywhere, you can just come here."

Of course, this was the standard version of his explanation.

There was also a darker version he wouldn't say out loud. "When I can't

help but lock you here one day, you won't be bored."

This thinking was a bit lovesick, so he naturally wouldn't voice it.

After visiting this bedroom, Elijah took her to the next room.

This room also faced the sunlight but looked ordinary from the outside.

However, when Cordelia entered, she was surprised to know that it was

a spacious musical instrument room

The entire room's walls were soundproofed, and various musical

instruments were available inside.

Cordelia was surprised to see a triangle again, among other

instruments.

She smiled helplessly and picked up the triangle, tapping it lightly.

"Elijah, are you serious?"

Elijah smiled lightly. "Do you want to try it?"

Cordelia nodded. "I haven't touched any musical instruments for a long

time. I hope I won't embarrass myself."

"I don't mind," Elijah walked over to the sofa in the rest area and sat,

looking ready to enjoy the music.

He thought Cordelia would choose the violin or the accordion, which

she was better at, but unexpectedly, after looking around for a while,

she walked up to the piano.

Elijah raised his eyebrows, leaned forward slightly, put his elbows on his

knees, and looked at Cordelia seriously.

She tried the sound test first, and after confirming there was no

problem, she pressed the key.

Initially, from the moment she sat here, the melody of "Pathetique

Sonata 1st Movement" had already echoed in her ears.

However, she also knew that her mood would be low for a long time

after playing this piece each time.

So, she chose to play "Dvorak's Humoresque,” a lively and looping

composition with a melodious and soothing tune that relaxed her.

Elijah listened to her playing quietly, watching her white knuckles

beating on the black and white keys and admiring her soft and

beautiful face. Slowly, a smile formed on his lips.

"Little one."

After Cordelia finished playing a piece with full concentration, she

noticed that Elijah had come up behind her.

So, she patted her piano bench. "Come have a sit. Do you want to play

a piece together?”

"You know I've learned piano?" Elijah was a little surprised.

"Yeah, after all, I once had a crush on you, so of course, I want to know

more about you. The more, the better," said Cordelia calmly.

So, the two of them played "Secret" together.
