said, "Are you... going on a business trip?"

"Yes, I'm going on a trip abroad,” Cordelia replied without hesitation

and shared the plan she had already thought of with him.

Then, Cordelia’s eyes fell on the hand that was holding her arm.

Elijah immediately withdrew her hand and returned to his serious

demeanor.

"Are you still afraid I'll force you into something you dislike? Am I that

kind of person?”

Cordelia shook his head with a solemn expression. "Absolutely not.”

Only then did Elijah laugh.

Unexpectedly, there was a twist, and Elijah's smile gradually

disappeared.

"But you'll seduce me step by step, test me repeatedly, and eventually

devour me entirely, leaving nothing but bones!"
