Chapter 372

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 372 Take the Risk

"Elijah, I'm angry." Cordelia held his hand and warned

"I'm teasing you." Elijah let go of her and let her sit next to him.

Cordelia rolled her eyes at him and snorted, "If I didn't reject you, it

wouldn't be as simple as teasing me. Are you tired of testing me?"

Cordelia thought Elijah was annoying.

Elijah didn't speak and looked out the window coldly. Seeing that,

Cordelia said, "It's getting late. Time to sleep.”

"Cordelia..." Elijah held her wrist. He slowly turned to look at her and

said, "Can we stay in Yeltonland for a few more days?"

Cordelia was stunned. Then, she said worriedly, "Aren't you afraid Mrs.

Mia Holland will cause trouble?"

Elijah shook his head

Cordelia couldn't understand him. Maybe it was because he was

disheartened after learning the truth.

"Okay, I will take the risk to accompany you," Cordelia chuckled.

In a few seconds, Cordelia had planned the work to be arranged for the

next morning in her mind

The most important thing was to tell Milo not to worry about her.

Elijah gradually became happy. "Am I dangerous? Why do you need to

take the risk?"

Cordelia shrugged. "Two minutes ago, you tried to sleep with me.

Aren't you dangerous?”

Elijah smiled and shook his head. Cordelia had seen through him, and

he had nothing to hide.

Elijah couldn't control his desire to sleep with Cordelia. It was the signal

from his body and his inner desire.

However, he would respect Cordelia and not force her.

The next day, Cordelia and Elijah wandered around the city aimlessly all

day.

They took photos on the streets, threw copper coins in the wishing

fountain to make wishes, and ate ice cream in the square.

They had never experienced that together. Elijah’s impromptu idea

gave them a chance to have fun.

In the evening, Cordelia sat on the Ferris wheel with Elijah and

overlooked the city's night view, feeling extremely comfortable.

Cordelia nestled in Elijah’s arms and asked, "Has Edith arrived? Has she

contacted you?"

"She went to visit Mr. Lawson. I didn't tell her. She will talk to Mr.

Lawson." Elijah looked at the night sky calmly.

Cordelia whispered, "No matter what, I don't believe your father would

do that."

"Maybe it was a mistake he made when he was young, or maybe he

was drunk.” Elijah tried to make an excuse for Gabe.

"You don't believe he did it on purpose, do you? He is not that bad."

Cordelia tried to comfort Elijah.

She understood Elijah’s admiration for his father, but Eason's identity

couldn't be changed.

In Eason's opinion, what had happened was nothing important.

The most important was Elijah's choice.

Cordelia would no longer ask if he didn't express his position on the

issue. After all, with their relationship, Cordelia had no obligation to

care too much about it.

In the evening, they went to a bar to drink.

Elijah drank strong drinks one by one. Cordelia only ordered a cocktail

and accompanied Elijah, watching him drink away his sorrows.

Love could heal all wounds.

However, people couldn't always be immersed in the sweetness of love.

Even the most passionate drama has its end.

Away from the stage, people were still alone.
