"Do you have anything else to say to Ms. Clare Price?" Cordelia looked

up and asked Elijah.

Elijah was looking at her. When she looked up, he kissed her

immediately. "Let's go. It's time to board.”

Cordelia smiled. "Okay."

Elijah put his arm around Cordelia's shoulders and left as if no one else

was around. He didn't even give Clare a sympathetic look.

Clare stared after them. The weakness and gentleness disappeared in

her eyes, and there was only loneliness and stubbornness.

I will make you beg me one day.”

After the plane landed, Cordelia looked tired.

the hotel to rest before visiting William.

"Cordie, is a suite OK?" Elijah asked.

"Okay," Cordelia agreed.

The suite had two large beds, so they had one bed each.

However, as expected, Elijah was beside Cordelia when she woke up.

"Cordie, you are awake. Are you still tired?" Elijah looked at her with a

smile and asked with concern.

"I feel much better. What are you doing?" Cordelia asked and frowned.

"I just woke up, too. I am waiting here for you to wake up," Elijah said

calmly.

Cordelia rolled her eyes at him. "I shouldn't be softhearted and agree

with you to book a suite.”

She thought Elijah was shameless.

Elijah reached out and pulled her into his arms. “I have something to

talk to you."

"Just say it," Cordelia said angrily.

"It's about Clare. At the airport, she asked me for help and wanted to

leave her fiancé,” Elijah told Cordelia the truth.

Cordelia didn't say anything. She knew that Elijah wouldn't get involved

in that.

"She was positive when she just knew her fiancé. Now, she knows that

there is no free lunch.” Elijah said sarcastically.

"Did she want to leave because she couldn't stand the wealthy man's

temper?" Cordelia asked

"I don't know." Elijah stroked Cordelia’s hair and said calmly, "You have

also seen that she is still the same. People can see through her at a

glance. She has not improved and deserves it."

Cordelia thought Elijah was right on that point.

Clare might be attractive to some innocent boys, but her fiancé did not

fall into that category.

In any case, Elijah gave Cordelia a perfect explanation for why he was

on her bed.

Cordelia didn't argue with him anymore and got up to take a shower.

She changed clothes and went to visit William with Elijah.
